Great center location shopping outlets/center with lot of restaurants and bars to dine in. From Best Buy to Dicks sporting to Johnny Rockets, everything is here. Large area but walkable. Plenty of parking spaces. Nice decor for holidays. We came here for annual yelp celebrations and it fun. Ate a lot , saw many businesses along with bump and roll ride which was real fun. Nice place to spend family time together. They had free WiFi but it never connected in both mine and wife's phone. Overall great place.

I have a history with this Outside Mall since 2009. I used to work here before and this mall is always kept clean and organized every where. I must say it's one of the best Mall I have been to due to its cleanliness. For example, the outside playground for the kids are surrounded with mostly kids stores and other kid friendly shops, which makes it more convenient for the parents to shop in one area if they are limited in times and restrooms are around the corner. Although, Arizona summer heat can effect every businesses, this Outdoor Mall have managed to keep amazing businesses here since they've opened in 2007. They are big on the East Valley and most favorite mall of the city people surrounding it. When I found out that our Yelp 15th Birthday Celebration was going to be held here, I knew it was going to be a celebration of the year for all of us PHX YES members including our guest. It was a phenomenal evening with so much adventures in one night. I had a blast with my guest along with everyone else. I must say San Tan Mall is one of my favorite Outdoor Malls with plenty of good walking memories and shopping adventures. I highly recommended this Outside Mall specially on a cooler weather.

I love the Santan village, it is a great shopping and food destination around Gilbert. Santan has a lot of good places to hang out be it for coffee, boba, fast food, upscale restaurants and number shopping places. You name it and you have it there. They also have take picture with Santa during the holidays. We used the holiday memories, whole atmosphere and the vibe during the festive season is impeccable. My only complain for the take a pic with Santa is the Santa itself, that wasn't a good looking Santa, he was all tired who had given up to even talk to people, infact a slimmer Santa. Taking a pic costs $40 which is so not worth because it's a business, they are in such a hurry to click pictures that it doesn't even make memories. The photo clicking is below average the pictures are dark and needs editing. I wouldn't suggest Santan village for take a pic with Santa, hgtv is way better. Santan village is a good spot to hangout, well maintained, good parking area and one of our fav places to go during weekends

This little world of its own is amazing. There are so many cool shops and architecture that makes it feel like...not a mall. My advice however is this place is a traffic hole/nightmare on the side of B&N. There are literally so many people and cars on weekend days it makes you wish you lived in another city, especially if you moved here to get away from the noise of where you left. High traffic, loud stereos and tons of people in midlife crisis. I get it, you have put a lot of money in to the engine of your fartbike. Be ready to spend more time here on weekends than you wanted to.

Nice enough place, but not a fan of the outdoor concept. Too hot and the stores are smaller.

There are a lot of collectible and toy stores, including a Mini so. If you know somebody who loves anime and Funko pops, you'll definitely find a gift here. There is an Ulta here, but it is a very small kind of weird Alta. The perfume section is very small. This would not be my first choice to go to Ulta. The food court has some good choices with a Sarko Japan, Wetzel's Pretzels, and Sbarro, but we noticed some of the food places are gone, too, like Charlie's Steakery. I didn't notice whether the carousel was running while we were there. This is a relatively small mall and we were able to walk from one end to the other on bottom and top floors. If you like sporting goods, the Dick's sporting goods outlet is here. Macy's has closed, sadly, but they're still at Dillard's and JCPenney here. It has some of the standard mall stores like Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, Torrid, Buckle, and Charlotte Russe. The line for Santa was quite long. There were children dressed up and families with matching pajamas. I was glad to see Santa getting so much business, especially because the photos are so expensive. It was a little sad, though, because even though it's the weekend before christmas, there was absolutely no Christmas music to make you feel the holiday spirit, or the shopping spirit. I couldn't help but feel a little sad because malls are a part of my growing up. Now it seems as though most malls are on their way out, and superstition is definitely among them. I hope it's around for a long while yet, but I'm guessing it's years or limited.

San Tan Village The first thing anyone would…read morenotice about San Tan Village is that it's all outdoors. An easy way to look at the villages layout would be like picturing 5 outdoor strip malls that got put together in a "village" form. San Tan Village looks a lot like it came straight out of Europe with the way its decorated and set up. It has cobble stone streets, a few grand fountains, old fashioned clocks, and trees all over the place. All this takes the shoppers experience back to the original source of shopping. With all the décor, the village seems like it holds a lot of class to its name, on top of all the stores it has. It gives the American shopper the feeling of- "I'm cool, I'm in pretend London right now", which holds the possibility of them wanting to spend a lot more money. Even though the village is outside don't let the elements scare you off. they have all their sidewalks shaded, with misters above that give the shade the extra few cooler degrees. San Tan Village was recently built a few years back. However I still consider it brand new, compared to any other mall in Arizona. Since the village is new it is really nice and clean. You can tell that the village staff does a really good job at maintaining it, and keeping it from getting run down, and keeping its presentable status. Since the mall is nice this will bring in more customers. One thing I noticed when I was observing the mall, was there was a lot of diversity there. Usually when you think of "mall" you think of "fast times at ridgemont high mall", with nothing but teenagers there. That's not the case for the village. There are people of all ages going there to have fun. I noticed a lot of parents with their kids, a lot of teenagers, and a lot of middle schoolers whose parents dropped them off. Since there is a lot of underage kids there, that means their parents feel it is safe enough for them to walk around without parental supervision. The kids also know it is a really nice place and they have to behave themselves while they're in there. I also think it is a very family orientated place as well. There are Candy stores, restaurants, and they even have a jungle gym for the kids to play on. It's a place where everyone in the family can go to have fun. This mall truly stands out of all the other malls in Arizona. San Tan Village has a plentiful amount of stores to choose from as well. It seems like they have three of every type of store there. Whether it be a Jewelry store, clothing store, sports store, or even a restaurant, you have lots to choose from. One store that is pretty popular is the "Buckle". I really like the Buckle because the employees there work off of commission, so they have to sell a quota of clothes and will be very willing and persistent helping you pick out what you need. Its clothes are a little expensive but they are high class modern mixed. Another store that is similar to the Buckle, is called "American Eagle". American Eagle isn't as upscale as the Buckle, but it certainly isn't that far behind. The service at American Eagle is really good, and they have a lot of products for you to choose from. Another clothing store San Tan village has is called "Aeropostal". Aeropostal isn't as nice as the other two clothing stores, but it isn't bad. It is more for middle school, high school kids. Since the village has multiple stores to choose from, if one store doesn't have what you're looking for another might. The village holds a few restaurants on it, and if it doesn't have the one you were looking for, there are a few close by. That is probably one of the best things about the village, its location. Its located right off of the freeway, so there are a lot of other shopping centers and restaurants around the village. Shoppers could realistically go to the village to get something and know they won't have to drive very far to another close by store to get what they were looking for. Overall the village is a really nice establishment, and I know I personally will continue to be a loyal customer to them. That is at least till it gets run down, or shuts down, which probably won't happen any time soon.
