I visited this store for my very first time after seeing it blow up on Tik Tok! For the holidays…read morethey were offering bundle bags on Black Friday. The videos I saw showed the strip mall being so packed with vehicles & people that there was actually a police presence just to help manage with crowd control. I recently moved closer, so I took the first opportunity I could to take a look at their goods in person yesterday...I was a little taken aback at how small the space is. From the moment I walked up to the front door- I was shocked to see that, that many people could have been waiting in line for hours and that the store would have enough merchandise to accommodate ALL those customers?! That said, I found the shop inside decorated in that retro style very suitable & quaint, but also only about 8 racks spread out openly throughout the store. The prices in my opinion were ridiculously high except for the $10 clearance rack by the front entrance. Even at that, many shirts I found stained, logos cracking/fading, with holes, or paint marks and overall just not in great condition for the cost! Additionally, they do have some pants, jackets and hoodies as well. Employees never welcomed us in. Too busy eating sandwiches. Find it very unprofessional to eat your food on the floor and at the registers counter to boot! They buy daily for vintage. You'll receive cash or credit. Generally, you will get more in store credit than in cash. Currently, they're accepting winter items and are being very "picky" ( as the two employees told me) about t-shirts. Odd since that's mainly what they carry & with that Tik Tok craze you'd think they would have needed a heck of a lot more merchandise unless it didn't fair well? Yet, again it's a small space with not a lot to offer, so wondering if they have things in storage and they rotate often or seasonally? Doubtful this will be a place I'd return. Think you can get more money by selling your goods on-line thru numerous apps. Or, going to a thrift store and finding vintage gems!

When my Yelp bestie Chelsey H. and I went to Cleaner next door, we received a suggestion to visit…read morethis location. It was very crowded due to a limited release item. We browsed for a little bit, but flabbergasted at the pricing. $30-50 for a faded t-shirt. I get they are vintage, but the prices seemed insane! Even a pair of mall goth style shorts were $125! Insanity! We likely won't return as we both will not pay those prices. Upon entrance and even exiting we were greeted by an employee at the door, which was the positive here (hence 3-stars).

Emma was so helpful! She made sure to check everything to make sure we got it right for my Emma…read morewho's at school. She was going to help me order a swimsuit online since it was out of stock but when she scanned it, it showed 50 just arrived. She said give me a moment and I'll head to the back to see if I can find it. Sure enough she found it. I was truly impressed with her upbeat attitude and willingness to help without any prompts. So grateful to work with Emma today, thank you!

Just wanted to share an experience I had today that really rubbed me the wrong way…read more A man with glasses who said his name was Shane (not sure if that was even his real name) was walking around the store with his little phone scanner, looking me up and down--literally checking out what I was wearing from head to toe. It felt uncomfortable, to say the least. I asked him if they had any mesh shopping bags, similar to the ones Forever 21 provides when you're shopping and collecting items. He looked at me like I was asking for a bag to steal something--not a shopping bag. His body language and facial expression made me feel like I was doing something wrong just for asking a simple question. Meanwhile, both of my boys bought sweatshirts from the store--$120 for just two sweatshirts. We paid in cash, and they ran the bills through the machine to check if it was real (which I totally understand). But Shane, or whatever his name is, stood there glaring at the money like we were trying to pass off counterfeit bills. It was honestly laughable, but mostly just insulting. I'm really big on customer service and treating others how you'd like to be treated. But I did not appreciate the attitude, the judgment, or the feeling that I was being watched like some sort of villain. I felt disrespected and incredibly uncomfortable. The only reason I stayed was because my boys really wanted those sweatshirts. We're all human and unfortunately, we sometimes judge people--but judging someone based on how they look is never okay. I was dressed nicely, had my hair done, wearing a dress... I was put together. And yet I was treated like I didn't belong there. Moral of the story: Don't judge a book by its cover. Be kind. You never know who you're talking to or what they're going

There are many individual booths here very similar to the ones in Chandler; however, there were many empty booths for rent ranging from $400-$500/month. There's a good variety of individual shops offering some cool stuff. One shop even had all kinds of instant Buldak ramen, tteokbokki, stir fried kimchee, snacks, and drinks! This is a fun place to find unique items and gifts. For the most part, prices are pretty reasonable. The employees were welcoming and friendly.

I'm only giving two stars today because I personally know some vendors that had just settled in after setting up and decorating their space- only to have them told, that Painted Tree is closing and you have to get all your stuff out asap. Understandingly, most vendors were shocked and upset. This follows other recent stores that closed featuring handcrafted goods- Ivy and Sage Lifestyle Company in Gilbert also closed their doors Feb 21st and Reel Deals on HIgley Road shut their doors too. I feel for all the hard working vendors who put their love into creating their products and now have to scramble to find new ways to show and sell their work.
