Pretty nice mall. Theres a JCPenney and Dillard's. There's some great dining options such as Wetzel's Pretzels and Chick-Fil-A

We came to this mall because the JCPenney here is pretty large. The mall itself seems to be slowly dying, with many empty storefronts. There are a lot of collectible and toy stores, including a Mini so. If you know somebody who loves anime and Funko pops, you'll definitely find a gift here. There is an Ulta here, but it is a very small kind of weird Alta. The perfume section is very small. This would not be my first choice to go to Ulta. The food court has some good choices with a Sarko Japan, Wetzel's Pretzels, and Sbarro, but we noticed some of the food places are gone, too, like Charlie's Steakery. I didn't notice whether the carousel was running while we were there. This is a relatively small mall and we were able to walk from one end to the other on bottom and top floors. If you like sporting goods, the Dick's sporting goods outlet is here. Macy's has closed, sadly, but they're still at Dillard's and JCPenney here. It has some of the standard mall stores like Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, Torrid, Buckle, and Charlotte Russe. The line for Santa was quite long. There were children dressed up and families with matching pajamas. I was glad to see Santa getting so much business, especially because the photos are so expensive. It was a little sad, though, because even though it's the weekend before christmas, there was absolutely no Christmas music to make you feel the holiday spirit, or the shopping spirit. I couldn't help but feel a little sad because malls are a part of my growing up. Now it seems as though most malls are on their way out, and superstition is definitely among them. I hope it's around for a long while yet, but I'm guessing it's years or limited. read more

Refreshing to see a good amount of stores still available to go into. Some of the stores were very repetitive though. Lots of toy and candy stores. The food court was nice and full and there was plenty of areas for kids to play and hangout. The mothers nursing lounge was absolutely disgusting and smelled horrible and needs cleaned. I needed to use it and there wasn't even a place to change your baby. The chair felt gross and you almost don't want to feed your baby in it because of how dirty it was I would've taken my chances in the bathroom instead cause it was cleaner in there. read more

This is a nice, two story in-door mall. It's not that popular which makes it great if you don't like super crowded places. It has a carousel and a small playplace for children. It sports a nice variety of clothing shops, specialty shops, and food places. I really like how there are a few couches and sofas which made for a comfortable reading spot. It seems that one side of the mall has a lot of empty stores so there's still opportunities for this to grow. read more

Today was my first long ride to the mall using my mobility. I had easy access using the main entrance by the amphitheater entrance. My plan is to tour the floors to see what's here, hit the food courts before I go. My visit to the was success. A security guards assisted me locating an elevator to get to the food court and a convenient outlet to charge my scooter ! I hit a few stores after lunch, topped off my charge and made my way home. If the mall management checks these reviews, kudos to your security team, one of your staff members went the extra mile for me today. read more

Security should be on more a lookout. Today at the mall my sister and I went. Went to the dressing rooms to try on clothes. I left and when I came back a girl informed me if I knew the guy in the dressing room over. I said no, and supposedly the guy took photos of her. I was still confused and got it and when confronted he left. Security was alerted but I did not see any. They didn't even come to the store. And she is on the verge of barely being 18. Now, that man most likely has photos of her and we cannot do anything about it. I am underage as well and that frightens me. It is disgusting to feel like that. The girls who worked at the store were nice and helpful but the security should be on more alert when finding people who could do that. read more

I enjoy mall walking early in the day. Today festive music was playing and was enjoyable to walk with. I enjoy seeing the stores opening and getting ready for the days business. I see regulars walking the mall in the early morning hours. It's good to see 2 security guards patrolling the mall and interacting with employees and mall walkers. read more

I met two excellent sales girls, Bella and Miranda, at Superstition Springs Dillard's "Women's Wear" Department, who were upbeat and fun to work with in helping me find an outfit for an upcoming event. Their quality service was most appreciated. The selection of dresses and outfits here was very good, ranging from casual to formal. Many items were on deep discount sales (yay!) The item they helped me find was also on sale, and a good value in my opinion. Bella and Miranda made the shopping experience even more fun. I recommend the Superstition Springs Dillard's. It was a nice mall, I'd probably go again. The food court had decent selections and it was quite not overly crowded.

yesterday was my first time visiting this mall alongside my family, and it was a relatively decent experience. it had the mainstays that you'd expect to see in any mall alongside original stores. being that it was a sunday afternoon, there was a noticeable amount of foot traffic. thankfully, there wasn't too much to make someone overwhelmed (it might be a different story on friday nights and saturdays). each of the stores my family and i visited during our trip (journey's, charlotte russe, boxlunch, and bath & body works) had friendly service. while visiting these stores (among a host of others), it can be easy to get overwhelmed but looking around and gauging what you want is immensely helpful. i can't form a solid opinion on this location since i am a first-timer, but hopefully future visits will also be as enjoyable as this one! (this is an add on for my review of boxlunch at this location) my family and i also went to boxlunch, and it was a pretty neat experience. the service was very friendly, and it wasn't as crowded as the other stores. boxlunch mainly specializes in fandom type stuff, and it's essentially a hot topic without the spiked chokers and revival of one's angst. (i mean this affectionately). we mainly got stuff for my younger sister, and we were in and out right away! read more

On September 17th, my wife and I brought our 1 year old to this mall. We let him run around (always in arms reach). The highlight of the trip had to be the elevator ride. As we were stepping out, I held the door open, fully expecting the state-of-the-art safety mechanisms to kick in. Surprise! The doors started closing anyway! I mean, who needs reliable safety features when you can add a bit of adrenaline to your family outing? I had to joyfully shove my son out of the way and the doors graciously tried to crush my fingers instead. After the door closed with a death grip, I managed to pry them open... Just a little bit though, because clearly who needs a door that can open wide enough for a 1 year old's head to fit through. A kindly GameStop employee graciously called mall security for us. Security arrived so fast, it took them no less than 10 minutes to arrive. He must have been very fit, because he wasn't the slightest bit winded after arriving in such a hurry to save a 1 year old. The guard showed up with a casual 'whatever' attitude which really set the tone for how much the mall cares. He suggested letting the doors close again (genius, right? I mean, we definitely didn't think of that ourselves!), because you know they MIGHT open back up. When we asked, "What if the elevator goes downstairs?" his calm response was, "It'll be fine." The rebellious childnapping elevator whisked our son downstairs. But not to worry: the security guard promised to retrieve him and walked off with the urgency of someone going to refill their coffee. Meanwhile, I had the pleasure of sprinting across the mall, down the escalator, back to the elevator where I found my child running wild, yards away from the elevator! Thankfully the elevator chose not to attempt to remove my sons arm this time around, so I caught my unsupervised kid and sat down to catch my breath. After several minutes, the security guard leisurely reappeared, probably from a well-deserved nap. When I suggested puttin an "Out of Order" sign on the elevator, he reassured me with the confidence of someone who genuinely cares: "Oh it's working now, it'll be fine." All in all, 5 star experience for anyone looking to add a bit of danger to their thrilling mall visit. read more

I have been frequenting this mall for about 30 years (since I was a kid). Though malls are slowly being phased out in the country, this mall still holds nostalgic memories for me. I stop in both for the mall food court and the various shops. Hope to see it stay around, though I wish there were more shops available. read more

The mall still lives on. I thought the old school malls were done, but this one is still trucking along somehow. With AC that chills you to the bone that would be enough of a reason to visit in the Phoenix heat of July. There was a surprising amount of stores still active here on two thirds of the levels, and quite a few people inside the mall. It reminded me of the way they used to be. As you head into the depths of the mall towards the west where the Sears used to be the shops start to die out and areas are marked as available for rent. It's like crossing over to the wrong side of the tracks. Yet it's still fully operational for the most part and a nice cool place to shop. read more

Today we visited Hot Topic at Superstition Springs Mall. We have been to this location dozens of times and NOT ONCE have we been disappointed. This mall has the feel of the 90's, maybe even the late 80's. There is even a video game arcade in the lower level. This mall is about 10 minutes from home and came here for the sole purpose of going to the Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale. Also while I was here, I had lunch in the food court at Habanero's Mexican Food. Pretty decent food for a reasonable price. It's sad when malls lose their appeal and I really hope this one doesn't because I do like shopping here. read more

This is the mall I grew up going to...it still has pretty much everything I go to. Sometimes it's a bit warm during the summer as if the AC isn't working well, I wouldn't try on clothes when it's like this but for walking around it's not terrible. Every time I come here it's always weirdly barren and kind of has a very weird vibe, similar to that of Arizona mills. I always brushed passed it but today when leaving there was 2 guys just waiting at the bottom of the escalators, one of which then proceeded to follow behind me and my boyfriend all the way out of the mall to our car, not trying to speak to us or make his presence known. As soon as we got to our car and got in he stopped and stared at it and us then proceeded to jog back to the mall. PLEASE don't come here if you're an alone female, I still am getting the chills imagining what could've happened if my boyfriend wasn't there. Not necessarily the malls fault but I will definitely not be coming back here ever again. read more

It has been YEARS since I've been to a "mall" type facility. I actually wasn't even sure if they really existed anymore since the one nearest me went entirely out of business & shut down several years ago. But, this one still seems to be hanging in there & I was surprised to see how vibrant & busy it was! Parking took a minute- because it was pretty packed. But, it wasn't hard to find your way around. There is plenty of signage & also directories at each entrance. I know the major food chains attached here help attract business, but it really was surprising to see the mall, itself with a decently heavy crowd perusing. ...kind of nostalgic watching the younger crowd treat it as their haven. I didn't shop many stores, but it was refreshing to see so many still open & thriving. It is a clean & spacious atmosphere- the aesthetics & natural lighting made it cheery. Overall it was much better than anticipated & I'll likely return to do things the "old school" way in lieu of shopping online. Brings back a lot of memories, but also is just fun to pass some time on a weekend afternoon. Comparing it to other shopping centers around the Valley- I like the vibe here. It isn't as run down as Mills but isn't as upscale as Fashion Square or Kierland. This is a really nice happy medium. read more

I loved this mall so much when it had a bookstore. I could trade books and get new ones, head down to the pizza place, and read to my hearts content. Now there is no bookstore at all. It was so unique. I loved it and I love reading, I brought in so many friends to the mall. Sometimes we'd brig in my niece for books and playing in the indoor playground. She loved picking out books. Now it's just a slowly dying mall. No Panera No Sears No bookstore No Lego store No build a bear It's sad. The 90's fashion might be coming back into style but malls are not. I had not been to Superstition Springs Mall in ages but with 100* degree temperatures looming, I was looking for a place to walk around and shop out of the heat. There are 4 anchor stores remaining: Sears, Dillard's, Macy's, and JCPenny's, with the original fifth anchor being replaced with Book Vault. Most stores are open, but there are a few empty spaces that leave me with an uneasy feeling that sadly, this mall will meet the same fate as Fiesta, and other fallen malls, in less than 10 years. Even with gimicky kiosk carts such a Dragon's Puff (liquid nitrogen frozen cereal balls), the iconic, to double-decker, indoor carousel, and The Cheesecake Factory on the outskirts, probably won't be able to save this place for too long. There is a summer concert series offered on Saturday nights that seems to be a big hit with the local retired crowd. I have not seen so many camping chairs in one place besides a pee wee soccer game. There is also a dollar movie theatre, Picture Show, which is nice if you want to make a day out of it as we did. read more

There are a few stores here that I enjoy shopping. However, I do not appreciate the seniors using this mall as a place to take their daily speed walks. I, along with many others I know, go to a mall for leisure, enjoyment, and shopping. The last time I was here, I actually had a group of seniors walking within one foot behind me and getting mad at me for leisurely strolling through the mall and pausing in front of a store! It doesn't even matter what floor of the mall you are on - upstairs and downstairs has tons of seniors using the mall as a speed walking trail. It has become very annoying! read more

Superstition Springs has definitely gone downhill over the years. As a former employee and customer of this mall, I really don't see much going for it. The prime time for this mall was when they still had all that beautiful architecture and the giant animals that the kids could play on with the super cool statues to take fun photos on. Without all that it's really just a bland mall. The food court selections are alright with most of the options mid range(Sarku, Chic fil a, Charleys). There are some pretty cool small local stores like this newly added witch store and anime store, but because of the amount of people choosing to shop online they almost always end up moving out or even transferring to another mall. Also, bye bye bookstore. Not a single store dedicated to books so you would have to leave the mall and make your way to Half Price books. Pros: Lots of new local stores, nice place to walk around, decent food choices, Cons: A lot of empty stores, very low traffic, not as maintained as it used to be, Tailored mostly to seniors with the department stores that are still in this mall. read more

Decent Mall With Manageable Parking This is one of my preferred malls around. It has a good amount of stores and even a good dollar movie theater. Parking here is one of the better situations around. Plentiful parking unless you are trying to park by the movies and Cheesecake Factory! read more

The food court is awesome!!!! We really appreciate the variety of foods offered and especially like having Chick-Fil-a and Panda Express. The play area is also very nice and well kept. We choose to drive more miles to a farther away mall just because of these two factors. read more
