The selection was great and prices were decent. The older gentleman at the counter... um not overly inviting if you aren't a senior citizen

A lot of stuff to choose from. A large amount of Phoenix souvenirs. For visitors to Phoenix, this place is a must visit.

This is such a fun place to explore! Reminds me of every kitschy little roadside gift shop my parents stopped at on road trips during the 60's and 70's. I enjoy getting little things for my grandchildren here. Pencils with Arizona state facts, postcards with photos of indigenous animals & interesting places, etc. They also have an extensive collection of wind chimes for sale from inexpensive to high end. Snow globes to Native art. Cactus candy and scorpions preserved in resin to nice ceramic collectibles and kachina statues. Something for everyone and a great place to find something unique for your home décor. The BBQ place next door is hard to resist and well worth checking out as well. read more

The stuff is "kitschy" if you're feeling in a good mood, and tacky if you aren't. I believe that some of this stuff has been sitting around a while, and even some of it maybe, may not be manufactured in Arizona. I also found the employees could have cared less if I stayed, bought anything, had a nice day, needed help or never came back. Having said this, I think maybe the place could be updated in the smallest way by adding in a few things, like employees that say hello, or some fresh items. Maybe a new set of photographs or oranges from Arizona-fresh squeezed juice perhaps? Some textiles or hand-crafted items? I have to say that it really is a sentimental place, and I'd never want to see it go out of business, the way I'd never want to see a place that my grandparents shopped at or enjoyed going to going out of business. Meaning, I don't need to go there very often. I wish I wanted to go there very often. read more

I hope they will be able to open again soon. They have so much to shop for. Love this stor

Some fun items. A tad pricey but expected for a souvenir shop. Went to pay with a credit card and lady said "using a credit card is a 35 cent surcharge." Admittedly an insignificant amount--but she was a tad rude so I asked if that was posted somewhere. "No, we just inform people when they pay." Again--not gonna break the bank but seems underhanded when not posted. Considering they are clearly making a profit on merch--seems like another way to squeeze few pennies out of customers. So--silly, but on principle, won't be returning. read more

They had great gifts and sweaters. Lots of things that I have never seen before. But the business was terrible. The employees were rude as their were only two people working there. One lady had black hair and she was on her phone the entire time I was in the store, sitting, doing nothing. Every time I walked past her she gave me a very dirty look (which I did have a small backpack on as I am a tourist so she may have assumed I was stealing). The other blonde lady that was a little older was sitting behind the counter and was VERY antisocial. We went up to the counter and I was purchasing a cactus and a shirt. Well the shirt was on top of the cactus as my grandma threw it on top, and the cactus needles got all over the shirt. The blonde one was like "oh no!" And said we could grab another, and the other lady can over, not speaking to us at all, snatched the shirt out of our hands, and walked away to grab another. Worst service I have had for a family owned shop. read more

While it could use a good dusting I find the Hi-Jolly to be a lovely nod to the history of the roadside tourist shops. I never leave empty handed. I do wish they offered a few better quality items and maybe update a bit (ie get rid of the oldest and tackiest). It's a bit of nostalgia. read more

This is a wonderful local gift shop family run since it opened. It has many, many unique Arizona gifts, but most importantly, it has many unique ARIZONA (and southwestern US)-made items. I go there whenever I need an authentic (not Chinese-made) Arizona/Southwestern gift for a friend or family member. Their items are well displayed and reasonably priced, and the family is charming. This is a great gift shop for everyone...tourist or local! Lastly, they're located RIGHT next door to Arizona's BEST BBQ restaurant-Waldo's! read more

worst customer service ever !!! over priced!! one of the purchases i made they didnt put in my bag. i went back to address it. the old man running the business argued that he did. it was my fault the item was lost and refused to replace the purchase ! if you are smart you will stay away from this business !!!! read more

Hi Jolly? What a joke of a name! The store should be called Goodbye Grumpy! This store is family run and every one of the family members has an attitude and are rude to customers. It's weird that the whole family has the same rude demeanor towards each other and customers. I have seen people leave the store insulted by the employees rudeness. I've heard the old man, I believe the owner, tell Canadians to just go home if they didn't like the weather in AZ. If a customer asks a question, they answer with a smart ass remark or rude quick remark. I went to this store 3xs and each time was the same. Rude owners and family. They do have a lot of great touristee items. Some stuff is way over priced. But if you can ignore their rudeness, check it out. I personally won't be giving them my business though. They don't deserve my $. Truly I don't know how they are still open by the way the treat customers. I'm giving 2 stars only because they have some cool stuff in their store. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would!!! I made a purchase using my Debit Card. After reviewing the charges while standing at the register-there was an addl charge of 0.35 on my receipt. I asked the clerk what this was for since I only purchased 4 items. He told me it was a service fee for using my Visa Debit Card. I explained I think this is totally illegal since he NEVER told me he was going to charge me a fee nor is it Posted Anywhere that this is their practice. Had I k own this - I would have paid by cash. I went back 10 days later to return the merchandise since I decided I didn't want the items any longer from them. The female behind the register - initials are LM - told me I could only get a Store Credit since I used my card. I explained I was never told this info nor is it printed on my 2 receipts they gave me. She said it is posted - yup, it's posted alright - way on the opposite side of the cashier - unable to been seen. I have attached a photo of their Notice from where I was standing. All said - they are truely a poor service merchant. I will never shop there ever. Please be warned!! Shop at your own risk. read more

Cute store, friendly staff, wide variety of gift shop items. Great place to visit for your AZ treasures with out of town visitors. Better prices than buying souvenirs at the airport! read more

Love this place! All sorts of wind chimes and sun catchers and yard art and and and!!!

I loved this little store - and I'm so glad I visited! It doesn't look like much from the outside - but there is sooo much in there. I love that they had both regular souvenirs and hand crafted items by local artists. There's a nice little bbq joint right next door too. read more

I knew something was going to happen as soon as I walked in and heard the bickering going on with family running the place. Hoping it would cool down by the time I checked out, (good t-shirts) I hand the woman my debit card. Gramma asked for another form of Id after the purchase was approved. My drivers license had expired while on vacation, 4 days prior. she insisted she needed another picture id. REALLY?? almost walked out and cancelled everything. Bad Juju-very unhappy people. don't bother to waste your time. read more
