They are only open on the weekends, but a great Saturday visit. This market offers so many fun finds, primarily vintage pieces, but also some newer handcrafted goods and even some local food offerings. It seemed like they stock according to the time of the year, and had lots of Easter, bunny influence. The had beautiful pieces of furniture, lots of trinkets, wall decor, honestly you name it. I found everything to be very reasonably priced. It's a great spot to find a gift or something unique for your home.

I see the wonderful Halloween things right away upon walking in and I was like a kid in a candy store. For me Halloween is my favorite holiday so my eyes light up like I am a kid again. Going down the aisles I could see that they were still stocking things and there would be more to come, but there was enough to keep me interested and scouring the aisles for what I wanted this shopping trip. The aisles were clean and clear, and the employees were nice whether they were in the store on the floor or at the cash register, which made the experience very pleasant. It's always so tempting with all of the ghouls and goblins and skeletons and pumpkins galore. Today I left with some cobwebs for my fireplace mantle for only $2.99 wow! What a deal!! It will look absolutely perfect.

We ended up leaving with a mantle decoration, but they already had everything from the giant skeletons and yard decorations to a few inflatables and plenty of indoor décor. The store was clean, easy to walk through, and the cashier was nice and friendly, which made for a pleasant checkout. Their prices are kind of a mixed bag. About half the time you find something and think, "That's a really good price," and the other half you're thinking it's a little more expensive than you expected. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because it seems like a lot of their larger decorations end up with some kind of damage. If you're buying one of the bigger items, it's worth taking a few minutes to dig through the stock and find the one in the best condition. Other than that, it's a fun place to browse, especially if you're ready to start decorating for Halloween way too early like we are.

We were greeted right away and the friendly staff gave us a quick rundown. The store is not that big and space can be tight if they're busy. However, they offer a variety of items from homegoods and cosmetics to appliances and furniture. We purchased face wash, mouth wash, and the little green Bissell carpet and upholstery cleaner all for a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately, when we opened the Bissell cleaner, it was broken. Thankfully, they have a great return policy and quickly refunded us.

There are different sections and everything is sorted, which is nice you don't have to dig through things. Many things are at a discounted price, but some things were the same as new. Some of the face products were not a deal. The staff were very nice and they do offer free drinks and there is a restroom for public use, which is a win. Would I come back? For how far away it was from me, probably not. But if I was in the area again, I would definitely stop by and check it out.

One of the fantastic things about Potato Barn is that what is available today, may not be there in a month - they rotate and include new things on a regular basis. When we bought our middle eastern style wood entertainment center, we put a deposit on it, arranged for delivery, made the purchase - and to this day, that piece has never been back to the showroom.
