Plus every other week their yearn is 30% off so I made sure to come the correct week. Even though their prices have gone up, that still drops to an affordable amount. The aisles were nice and clean. The employees are not always the friendliest although some are. But they are always available to help you find what you are looking for. I found a cute pair of lavender shorts but there was no place to try them on so I went ahead and bought them in the size I thought would fit and brought them home to try, knowing I could take them back if they didn't fit and try another size. I asked about the return policy and the girl told me you have 60 days with the receipt and 90 days without a receipt. I thought that was more than generous. I'm sure I will be back.

Service/Selection 5/5 To be frank, this is my wife's store that I've come to appreciate. While she's of getting picture frames, artwork of other interior design pieces I love to pour over the books and affirmation items. I always find something to grab and save for that time when someone needs their spirits lifted. They have them and I scooped up five! Books, I typically find 2-3 as title change quickly. Scored a big one today. Value 5/5 This is truly a value store, fun inventory at reasonable prices. Marking today's visit harlarious was my dilation. Holy Cow Becky everything was so bright I had a difficult time reading, seeing and at time holding my eyes open must have been a spectacle to see, pun intended! First, I am very disappointed to have to update my original glowing review to bring down the…read moreratings... I went back a few weeks ago because I had free admission, among other freebies, that I'd like to enjoy since I had a nice time last year. Everything was going fine until this one vendor, Tall Mouse/Kim Donahue, shouted towards my direction as I was walking by- like a carnie. I thought she was trying to tell me the world was coming to an end. I didn't know much what she was saying, because I am hearing-impaired. She probably took advantage that I was alone for the moment because if I had my group with me, she likely wouldn't say anything (too timid to). I just nodded her off half-interested and kept walking on. I guess when I approached her booth for a second to see her name badge that was turned back to be sure she was 'the' Kim I ordered from in the past, she recognized me from when I ordered from her this year. To recap: I ordered from her and she stuffed my items in a too-small box, causing the labels for my items to be bent in half (I paid good money for my order). I e-mailed her nicely and mentioned that and, early in advance to save in e-mail tag, requested that she could replace the bent items and not the entire order. I didn't even ask for some refund. I guess when she contacted the artist for replacement labels, she and the artist had an argument over that (re: the charge for replacements)? And, she blamed me? She had the artist sent the replacements directly to me to save money. It's not my or the artist's fault that she stuffed the box(!) I'm the one who should be confronting her at her booth, right? That's the most I could figure out that made sense. The show manager, Sandra, happened to be on the floor that day, so I approached her and told her all about the unprofessional mannerisms that Kim Donahue displayed at her booth, as well as online re: that order. Sandra was clearly disappointed at the incident and apologized to me and said she'd have a chat with Kim Donahue. Moreover, the reason for my updating this review is because I and my group (who witnessed from afar) contacted Sandra via their website contact form to get it in writing to be sure disciplinary action was done. We heard nothing back from Sandra nor from the Expo staff. We even filled out a survey that they sent via e-mail and again, heard no feedback. We even recommended that Sandra not accept a booth application renewal from Tall Mouse. I gave them a few weeks to reply before updating this review. However, again, I'd like to thank my fellow crafters for the admission, and to others on the floor for their professionalism. I am not sure I'd return because most of the vendors are retailers and sell the same old stuff and use this type of event to get rid of old inventory, even while they do have a few manufacturers and artists who are truly there and sell their own creations and inventions- simply because they love what they do. Tall Mouse had a retail store in Yorba Linda, Calif that went out of business and are selling their leftovers online or at their booths across the states (the items I purchased from their online and one I purchased from their booth last year are not selling at all nowadays). It's tiny/struggling (unprofessional) vendors like Tall Mouse that caused me to not really support small businesses anymore and stick with corps. At least in my experience, corps tend to make it right when orders went wrong. Also, I managed to collect some more Expo buttons (badges) as I earned them, because I am a loyal and long-time scrapbooker (since I was a kid, before the "acid-free" hype of the '90s). The Expo may have celebrated their "20 years" as an Expo (not all in Phoenix), they will not last much longer mainly because the industry has taken a nosedive since the recession and many have moved on to other ventures. Good luck!

Meh! The Scrapbook Expo used to be a fun experience, but this recent Expo was way too crowded and…read morenot worth the drive or admission to shop. This Scrapbook Expo is much smaller with less vendors than their show in Schaumburg, Illinois. Prices were higher than shopping online in general. Last time, I bought ink pads from a vendor and they were dried out! I don't remember who I bought them from, so I wasn't able to contact that vendor to return or exchange the defective ink pads. Admission is $10 bucks! Sometimes they offer $2 coupons or free admission if you sign up for some of their classes. Skip it!

Our organization ordered 26 shirts from them last summer. As long as we were getting ready to order, my phone calls were returned quickly. After the order was placed, it took more than a month to get the order - not bad but not stellar. The quality of the work was excellent, but one of my shirts had a spot on it. When I called to tell them about it, their return calls were considerably slower in coming. Since they are located close to where I live, I drove there and took the shirt with me. The owner, Steve, was very nice and said he would take care of getting me a replacement shirt. That was back in September. I've been calling and leaving messages but NONE of my calls have been returned. I just drove to their shop again, and sure enough - that suite is EMPTY. So now I'm out the almost $30 for my shirt (what would have been my favorite) and I have to shop around again for another business to take care of our next order. It's terribly disappointing to work with someone that comes across as being so nice to find out they can pull something like this. If there's a good reason for what's happened, I can be very understanding. BUT AT LEAST RETURN MY CALLS and let me know what's happening! What a let down!

Chef Leo was super fun and friendly, the space was clean and welcoming. The menu they have each time is different as well. We did a five course meal and was able to take home the recipes as well. Each station was properly manned and chef Leo did not assign people to it to give us all freedom to pick what we wanted to do. The equipment was great and we didn't have issues with the instructions. It's bring your own booze to drink and they have a fridge there as well that you can put your drinks in. It was a very chill and fun atmosphere and I would recommend this for anyone that's looking for a fun experience with a group of friends or even a date night. The food was plenty for the amount of people there and we even had some cool take our boxes for left overs which was so nice! I'd definitely come again and I've already shared this with other people!
