As for this location, from our entry into the store, the store's environment as well as each of the employees were very welcoming. The ambiance and scents which you evolved within the store aligned with the brand and fostered and excitement to be there especially on my last day visiting Arizona. We determined, i'd like the Scottsdale location , were comfortable remaining and taking on a project to create Our own custom lotions. Alex was very welcoming, patient, informative and encouraging to try different scents until we arrived at the combination we were comfortable paying for. I am a 20+ corporate sales and customer success professional who is beyond impressed by how1 this business model is expressed in Peoria, AZ. When Alex was not working with us, his colleagues were considerate and kind enough to check in on how they could assist. When he returned, he apologized for being away. More importantly, he motivated us to take advantage of all that the experience had the offer. I'll definitely recommend chemistry and candles. Specifically this location to all my other friends were visiting Arizona. Thank you, Alex and thank you to the creators behind this experience.

What's amazing is that they have over 50 scents to sniff out. It takes awhile and there are a bunch of really cool and unique scents such as Fruit Loops, gun powder, marijuana, leather, pink sands, clothesline, creme brulee, fruit loops, honey crisp, and rain. The employees are helpful with suggesting combinations once you write down your favorite scents. I decided to get hand soap and the perfume roller. The scents are quite amazing but they are quite ephemeral. After reviewing everything, I realized that they lied about the prices. I got overcharged $11 so I'm pretty upset by being lied to and overcharged by a lot.

Such an amazing experience, and I can't wait to go back after my products run out!…read more I called ahead to see if this place required reservations, but they are walk‑in ONLY. I got there first thing in the morning with my mom and aunt to get started. We arrived on a Friday and parking was PACKED. We ended up finding a spot in a nearby lot, so if you have a certain time you want to arrive, make sure you factor in parking. Anyway, we made our way into the building, and a nice lady told us we could sit anywhere we wanted and gave us the rundown. You're able to make an array of items. We ended up making car fresheners, perfumes, lotions, and candles. You start off by picking your favorite scents and combinations. If you're anything like me and my mom, we are very indecisive, luckily they help you pick out scents and combinations they think you'll like. Seriously amazing staff! They were so patient with us to make sure we got the scent we loved. Overall, the process took about an hour, and depending on what you make, you'll have to come back after 3 -4 hours to pick up your items. When we came back around late noon, it was packed, so I definitely don't recommend coming at that time. Definitely go early in the morning or maybe a couple hours before they close. The prices weren't overly expensive at all. I can't remember the exact total, but I think I got around three items and only paid about $70. Either way, if I have more family coming in from out of town or just want a fun place to go with friends, I can definitely see myself coming back

I absolutely LOVE candles, so this is the perfect place for me!…read more Nice size space to see everything they have to offer for a fun short activity and hands on experience OR simply just to browse around at ALL the scents & delightful ideas they present. There are probably over 100-200 fragrances, so lots of options! Create your own custom creation (soy based) candle, plus make your own brilliant bath salts, body scrubs, hand soaps, lotions etc. It's obviously NOT just about candles here, it's the chemistry of how things tie together! We were pleased with our selections & personalized products. There are 3 location within the Phoenix area to make your tailored treasure come true! Note- Big groups, make reservations in advance! And- If you want your candle on the same day you visit; make sure you prepare for that & visit 3 hours prior to closing time to ensure you get your products so that you don't have to make an additional trip.

They have GORGEOUS home decor and other essentials but at a pretty hefty price tag! I actually thought the store would be a tad bigger than it is since the building is so big from the outside. I was able to walk it and get a general sense for what they have in about 5 minutes. They had cute Arcadia totes for $60, candles were around $40, and other various end tables, napkins, table settings, pillows, wood beads, bowls, baskets, etc. A great selection of neutral/timeless pieces. Unfortunately I didn't purchase anything because I couldn't let myself spend that much money for small-ish items but it was fun browsing. If I had all of the money in the world, I would definitely shop here regularly! Their pieces are totally my style. :) The lady working was super friendly and even offered me a water while I was shopping. All in all, a nice addition to the neighborhood.
