E Ray Road Located just be very careful shopping here. The things on the show case floor may or may not be the same item you received. Just be cautious because in very fine print at the bottom of every receipt, we aren't talking sales items or anything like that it's at the bottom of every receipt, it says "No Return" Even if they give you the wrong item. Also they don't give you the receipt saying this until you have already paid. Part of the trickery. I'm just saying e very careful in any exchanges. read more

When we moved to the Vally a while back we were enthralled by this furniture with its awkward name, the Potato Barn. We were finding unique and singular items that no other store in the Phoenix Area had - and believe me, my wife and I hit every store in our desert. The extraordinary values, qualities, workmanships, styles, points of origin, assortments, manufacturers of furniture, vases, lamps, beds, living and dining, and pictures and frames and then some is totally unexpected. We've purchased from Potato Barn multiple times over the years, and when we look for additional items, they are the first we go to. Our first purchases from them were over ten years ago, and each item has withstood the test of time both in quality and endurance. One of the fantastic things about Potato Barn is that what is available today, may not be there in a month - they rotate and include new things on a regular basis. When we bought our middle eastern style wood entertainment center, we put a deposit on it, arranged for delivery, made the purchase - and to this day, that piece has never been back to the showroom. We've been happy with that and all the other products we've purchased. If your in the market for quality and uniqueness this should be your first stop. read more

Really enjoyed wondering the large store the staff has been wonderful they ask if you need help after that they leave you alone to sit and check out the large selection of furniture . 1st Time at this location and it took us a bit by surprise (an unexpected good thing) as we have frequently purchased items from the other locations and it's packed tight. I was expecting a more "crowding of furniture" but everything here was spaced out in a way that flowed really well. The selection of items is pretty broad, and depending on what you're looking for, they may have something that works. When we come here, we are typically looking for "unique" single-piece items. I would consider them more of a rustic, farmhouse with a touch of industrial style feel. If you see something you like, you may find it again (and again) in similar styles or colors but always ask the staff as they tend to know the location of the items throughout the store. We typically zone in & look at the details to ensure consistency, durability, and sturdy construction of items. We didn't have any success on this trip but also a bit disappointed with the price point for certain pieces as this was just 1 of 5 stops we made that day & similar items were priced lower. We will continue to keep them on our top spots to shop for pieces moving forward as their uniqueness is what sets them apart. read more

Over priced. I have been to 3 different Potato Barn stores. Very eclectic furnishings. Most from India and way over priced for what they are selling. There is other custom furniture there mixed in that is over priced compared to other outlets. If you are looking for Shabby Chic this might be the place to go, but that boat sailed a long time ago. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. My other call out...I've never been greeted or ever asked if I needed any help. All 3 visits were in search of big items like leather couches, armoires and bookshelves. Visits were in the past 9 months. read more

We stopped to check out their dining seta we are in the hun for new furniture for our entire house long story short we were new customers and wanted to ask if they do finance, the person who was helping looked at me in a disgusting way and proceeds to send to the "back room" stating that everything in the back was 50% off and maybe in that section i could find something that could help. I laughed inside thinking we were about to buy no just a dining set but multiple furniture items. I felt very disappointed and uncomfortable the way we were treated. Wish I could give zero stars. I bought a custom couch and chair from this place. At the time of purchase I had to hand initial that all sales are final. But then on delivery date, which they couldn't confirm until 30 minutes before delivery, the sales manager, Chad, called to collect another payment which he forgot and wouldn't deliver the couch until that random new payment was paid. Overall very disrespectful service and don't value their customers. Don't not shop here for your sanity. read more

The employees are so kind and helpful, without being pushy, and they are an unapologetically American business that believes in freedom and personal choice. I am confident that 90% of you complaining still go out to restaurants, the grocery store and your local coffee shop. There is a mask requirement in Maricopa County during the COVID19 pandemic. Not one single store employee was wearing a mask when I entered the store this afternoon. They have the signs on the entry doors stating the county's mask requirement, but the employees aren't following it. Epic fail on the Potato Barn's part. I had a good chunk of money to spend to redecorate my new house, but due to not feeling safe, I left and took my money with me. I wouldn't recommend Potato Barn to anyone during the COVID19 pandemic, since their employees actions show they don't give a crap about their customers. read more

However the owner is in a league of his own really rude and unfriendly and.... He actually said until you measure your area ... which we did and are looking for a different fabric.... Knockoff City!! Potato Barn Sells Overpriced, yet poor quality furniture, with no recourse when products aren't as advertised.... do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Not worth it. Horrible customer service. Sent a repair person to help with a flawed table surface that got damaged the *first* time we used it, nice guy but he completely changed the color WITHOUT OUR CONSENT and the finish and then their rude unprofessional manager took zero responsibility for that. Will not be back. Too bad we spent several thousand $ there already and are only starting a remodel. Go elsewhere. Buyer be warned. ETA: the owner's summary is false, no one spilled grease. It was damaged after serving *one* meal! And from that, scrubbing the wood pulled the poorly applied original finish off. The fix-it man himself admitted that "we sometimes get things without any sealant or wax" which seems useless for a dining table. For the record, he (your guy) said it wasn't the right stain and came on a weekend without all his supplies so HE WANTED to come back and redo it, and he changed the color without our consent...! Too bad several thousand $ down the drain spent here means nothing in terms of customer satisfaction. You should try calling us yourself, instead of hiding behind your 'manager' as her people skills and professionalism are questionable. We have all the texts from the fix-it guy, who was the nicest most professional (and honest) person there. Hope he moves on soon! read more

This place is massive so put your walking shoes on! Potato Barn has been a go for years to find beautiful pieces of furniture that are unique and high quality. It's fun to just browse even if you are not looking for something specific. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The showroom really helps you to envision the piece in your home. The fact that most of the bad reviews was about employees not wearing masks is sad. I loved this place! We just moved into our house and needed a new couch. We got in and out within an hour with a brand new couch that we are OBSESSED with. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and constantly checked in with me if I had any questions about their products. We found the couch we wanted and the guys outside did such a great job helping us load it up. Highly recommend this place especially in a time where we have "supply chain shortages." This place is a little more costly, but I'd rather pay a little more to take something home same day versus wait 2-4 months for furniture. read more

They give a great big FU to everyone who enters. Why they get away with this is another question entirely. I drove what felt like halfway across the state to visit Potato Barn today only to walk into a store where *not a single one* of the several staff people were wearing masks. They were all gathered together, working closely together and it is very clear that they are an anti mask business. They are making a statement. I left. If you're interested in public health and moving us out of this terrible situation as quickly as possible, I suggest you spend your dollars with more responsible business. The variety is terrific whether you are looking for a couch, unique side stand or huge piece of furniture for that special place in your home. Do not buy couches from here. Great during the sales process however not understanding when our $4,000 couch started ripping at the seam's. Now 2 years later our couch has multiple tares and holes from seams busting. This was the "performance fabric". Not worth the amount of money- will stick with Costco from here on out. read more

If you like the painful experience of franchise furniture stores going to each one seeing the same things over and over while being chased around by sales associates then this is not the store for you. Every time I visit a location I'm blown away yet again with all their new inventory. Completely different colors, textures and finishes, my husband will tell you my love for home decor is a disease lol and he's right. I personally like to roam through their massive stores and take it all in without feeling like I'm being stalked by sales associates. When I have reached a point of needing assistance their team has never disappointed. They are all very knowledgeable and kind and clearly not paid on commission. This place is absolutely amazing with incredibly helpful and friendly staff! I moved to AZ from Chicago and this is by FAR the best furniture store I've found in the entire PHX Metro area in terms of prices, quality, and number of options. Lisa from the Mesa location helped me with a dining table (over the phone and in store) and shared design tips & tricks for furnishing my new home. Also, the staff above & beyond to help me get this heavy piece (beautiful 60" round solid wood table) safe and secure to the roof of my Subaru to save me from another trip out (and delivery fees). Super friendly and genuinely nice people here. Not sure how anyone could give a poor rating, but I suppose if you go on a Saturday they are busy and you might not get the attention you are looking for. If so, just go during the weekdays. I've purchased from the Scottsdale and Mesa Locations, and had a great experience at both spots. The Mesa location is bigger with more options. read more

We were fortunate enought to visit the Potato Barn on a Thursday night. They had wonderful food for no charge and a live band. It was the best concert experience. The furniture was comfortable, stylist and very affordable and they delivered it as well with two of the nicest young men you could ever meet.
