    1st Time at this location and it took us a bit by surprise (an unexpected good thing) as we have frequently purchased items from the other locations and it's packed tight. I was expecting a more "crowding of furniture" but everything here was spaced out in a way that flowed really well. The selection of items is pretty broad, and depending on what you're looking for, they may have something that works. When we come here, we are typically looking for "unique" single-piece items. I would consider them more of a rustic, farmhouse with a touch of industrial style feel. If you see something you like, you may find it again (and again) in similar styles or colors but always ask the staff as they tend to know the location of the items throughout the store. We typically zone in & look at the details to ensure consistency, durability, and sturdy construction of items. We didn't have any success on this trip but also a bit disappointed with the price point for certain pieces as this was just 1 of 5 stops we made that day & similar items were priced lower. We will continue to keep them on our top spots to shop for pieces moving forward as their uniqueness is what sets them apart.

    Knockoff City!! Potato Barn Sells Overpriced, yet poor quality furniture, with no recourse when products aren't as advertised.... do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Not worth it. Horrible customer service. Sent a repair person to help with a flawed table surface that got damaged the *first* time we used it, nice guy but he completely changed the color WITHOUT OUR CONSENT and the finish and then their rude unprofessional manager took zero responsibility for that. Will not be back. Too bad we spent several thousand $ there already and are only starting a remodel. Go elsewhere. Buyer be warned. ETA: the owner's summary is false, no one spilled grease. It was damaged after serving *one* meal! And from that, scrubbing the wood pulled the poorly applied original finish off. The fix-it man himself admitted that "we sometimes get things without any sealant or wax" which seems useless for a dining table. For the record, he (your guy) said it wasn't the right stain and came on a weekend without all his supplies so HE WANTED to come back and redo it, and he changed the color without our consent...! Too bad several thousand $ down the drain spent here means nothing in terms of customer satisfaction. You should try calling us yourself, instead of hiding behind your 'manager' as her people skills and professionalism are questionable. We have all the texts from the fix-it guy, who was the nicest most professional (and honest) person there. Hope he moves on soon!

    We ordered a coffee table from them that had to be special ordered. We've had it less than two…read moremonths and noticed that the molding on the side of it was peeling away, so we attempted to file a warranty claim. First of all, you can only make claims via a web form, which we did, and included a picture of the issue. They stated they take up to 48 hours to reply, and they pretty much did that to the minute. They basically accused us of physically damaging it, mind you that was off a single picture we sent, and then informed us we would have to pay for the repair. Didn't offer to send anybody to check it out, or even offered to allow us to take her to the store for an assessment, they basically just tried to put the blame on us, when we did nothing to cause the damage. I've used other stores such as Bob's discount furniture, and when we had a warranty issue, they sent someone to our house, to not only verify the issue, but also make the repair. I could've purchased this table elsewhere, and based on this, I will in the future because they refused to stand behind the products they sell.

From the time you enter you're flooded with beautiful decor all around you. Right now there are Fall and Christmas decor around every corner. The slight negative is how damaged decor items were or inoperable decor on the tables for sale. I think those items should have been moved, highly discounted, or flagged somehow. The positives are customer service from the cashiers and one person in particular who I flagged on the floor to help me get an item that was too far to reach on the table.

    I had recently ordered a Svante media stand and it came damaged - with two big cracks in the bottom…read moreboard. To get the media stand exchanged, I have to first work with their 3rd party vendor and based on the vendor's assessment the next steps will be decided. Basically, they are leaving me (the customer) in limbo. Though I had ordered the media stand from their Mesa store, I had to go all the way up to their warehouse in Phoenix (an hour's drive from my home) to pick up the media stand. They surely know how to make things more difficult for their customers! A 'good' store would make things easier and not difficult for the customer. Also, a month ago, I had ordered a Quintin nightstand online, paid for it and everything. A week later, I get a call from them saying that they are out of the nightstands! Overall, I am really disappointed with their customer service. Damaged furniture out-of-the-box is another big concern. No more shopping at Scandinavian Designs for me!! Future customers: Do check your furniture thoroughly for any damage prior to pick up and/or after delivery!!
