Chad Carling of Furniture Plus is my hero. My husband was recently diagnosed with advanced Melanoma Cancer. He hurts all over, can't sleep and I have a herniated disk from helping him up several times a night. I knew he needed a power lift recliner fast to save us both. Chad had the best one I could find -the FlexSteel ZeCliner with heat and massage. He beat the local Sedona price by $300 and he and Brett (or Bruce) drove the chair 2 hours to get it to us asap How's that for service? At a time when ppl don't even bother to answer the phone when you call a business (since Covid). Chad and Furniture Plus delivered the BEST possible chair on the market at THE BEST price to someone in need as quick as humanly possible. I found them online and never met them until today. He cheerfully answered all my dozens of text questions before I made the purchase. Sent pictures and videos too. I Love them. My back loves them. My husband found something positive for him on this day in an otherwise grim future. Who knew a piece of furniture could be so uplifting-literally So blessed. So grateful. I bought a guaranteed for life love seat and sofa. IThe love seat was boxed but defective when they delivered it. Three times they promised to be here to attempt to fix it. Three times they have failed to show up. No call, nothing. I am disappointed as I thought I bought the best made. read more

Furniture Plus - A gap makes the right side slope down aggravating my husband's constantly painful spinal stenosis. - Furniture Stores Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I visited just about every furniture store in the valley before settling on Furniture Plus in Mesa. Not only is their selection excellent, but the staff is just awesome. They are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they go the extra mile to help you make the right selection. I selected a Richardson sectional and customized it quite a bit. I really appreciated being able to add many style attributes to it, and that Richardson is also a local company. It was a win win to support two family owned businesses in the transaction. I had a slight issue with the fabric facing on a few of the cushions, but Aaron and Julie got right on it and worked with Richardson to replace the covers. Once received Aaron came right out to replace them. It's so refreshing to find a quality business that employs integrity and excellence in customer service. read more

I called Furniture Plus to ask about a couch I was interested in purchasing. Instead of answering my questions, the person who answered the phone immediately asked me--hostilely--why. When I explained I wanted to buy a couch, he launched into a lecture about how people come in to try his furniture and then buy it online elsewhere. I was honestly shocked by how rude and defensive he was. If price-matching is a concern, just offer it! I was ready to buy, but the attitude made me reconsider. Crazy how unwelcoming the experience was. read more

We had a great experience from the ladies answering the phone and helping us with our purchase to the delivery and finally the product itself. They provide awesome service along with a great product for a fair price. Awesome value !!!! ThankYOU ! read more

We purchased a large custom sectional couch from Furniture Plus. Salesperson was awesome in helping us pick the right sofa and colors. Delivery came and we had some flaws in the fabric construction. They have gone up and beyond what most other companies out there would do to make sure the couch gets fixed correctly and that we are happy with it. Delivery drivers have also been awesome to work with. Highly recommend Furniture Plus and we will be back again to purchase from them in the future! read more

I recently bought some living room furniture from Furniture Plus. Since I had bought a sectional from them about 15 years ago, I knew they had a nice selection of quality furniture. And, wow, yet again, they did not disappoint. The love seat and chair I bought are of a very good quality, but priced below the prices of some of chain furniture stores in which I searched. You are dealing with a family business that has been around for decades. Delivery was prompt. The guys were very professional and made sure that things were placed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Furniture Plus. read more

Love this furniture shop. Lots of online selection. I ordered a dining table and it is solid.

Great customer service from Bruce at Furniture Plus. Worth the drive as we had gone to a shop in Scottsdale where the same items were 30% higher and they weren't interested in negotiating a sale. Also, high marks for the delivery crew Eric and Chris. Wonderful to meet courteous and respectful young men in today's service-industry environment. All in all..... a good buying experience and a quality product. read more

I've purchased many pieces of furniture over the years from this store. Bruce is top notch when it comes to customers needs and service. Not only do they match prices, but their prices are really competitive. Their delivery personnel are professional. Compared to other furniture stores, at least they to take care of you. They are not pushy sales people, and you don't ever feel obligated to buy anything. read more

More like $$$. High prices, but great people. And lots of custom options. PThe older gentleman that was in the store was fantastic. He was very nice with no pressure and super helpful. The only reason that I would give it three stars is because of prices. The store was a lot more expensive than I was expecting from the $$ review. They are right up there with Mor, Ashley, Copenhagen, Living spaces....but there is more custom options if ur willing to wait a week to three weeks. I'm not sure why it only has two dollar signs but it should be more like three. They have very high-quality customizable options. But I was looking more for kid friendly couches right now. The people were nice, and social, and didn't pressure and were knowledgeable. read more

Love it! I've been looking for a recliner for a few months so I've experienced the "Furniture Store Attack" quite a few times recently. It was a joy to walk in and not feel like a target for another salesperson. I was greeted politely and then they were available if I had questions. I found what I was looking for and they were great in helping me sort through the numerous fabric or leather options. I suspected the price was fair but at that point I didn't care because I was loving the way they helped me. (When I got home I checked pricing online and the price I paid was in-line). Great place to buy! read more

The minute something went wrong with my purchase, the owner, Chad, was a complete jerk. They delivered expensive recliners that were both damaged, and Chad claimed that I didn't understand leather (I was ranch raised) and instead of sending me new chairs, he took them back. First, he said he would send someone to fix them. What??? They were brand new. Don't do business with this company. read more

My girlfriend and I searched for 3 days to find furniture that we really liked. We found that Furniture Plus carried what we wanted. We waited 2.5 months for our furniture with a 50% deposit on the furniture. The furniture showed up damaged and dirty. $3,200 for 2 chairs. We were told that this was a family business. The owner is Chad Carling. Never do business with this company. They don't stand behind their product and they treat you as though you are an idiot who knows nothing about furniture. I would give zero stars but yelp requires at least one. read more

Excellent prices! VERY friendly staff!! Wonderful experience. I would recommed this store to anyone looking for a living room set OR bedroom set!!! I went there with my daughter for a second opinion on the sofa piece she was looking at purchasing. My biggest plus about this establishment besides the reasonable pricing was that it was nice to have someone accessible for questions, but not following you around the entire store while you looked at their inventory. It was very clean inside and there was a large selection of furniture as well as mirrors and accessories along with bed frames and mattresses. We also purchased a bed frame -which was the cheapest we found around town(even checked online)! We worked with Chad and he was especially helpful with reasonable prices. Which was extremely appreciated :) read more

Bought a beautiful gray leather Palliser sectional and had a wonderful experience at Furniture Plus. My husband and I like to shop local when we can and we are glad that we did! Chad, the owner of the store, gave us the "old school" exceptional customer service that one hopes for when shopping local. He took the time to explain to us the sofa that we were considering and went into great detail about our options and even compared it to other brands in the store. The prices are very competitive and delivery was right on time. I will definitely return for future purchases and would highly recommend to our friends and family! read more

These guys are great they have been here for over 30 years. My wife and her family have been coming here since my wife was a little baby. Chad Carling has always been great to work with. Now for years there sons have been running the business with their Dad. I love supporting good family businesses that treat people right. We will be back for many years and have been using them for over 10 years for our Furniture and flooring needs. We just ordered a Robert Michael sectional. They have helped us get mattresses, sectional, recliner, and many other items over the years. The customer service is always top notch. If you haven't been here it's time to try them out! Thank you Furniture Plus and the Carling Family. Update: I also just used these guys for for my flooring needs. We put in Hard wood flooring. They did such a great job. They got in and out quick and it looks great. CJ Carling is the one to go to for any flooring needs. He does a great job with carpet that we have used him for in the past and does a great job with wood as well! Thank you so much my wife is very happy! read more

Just got my couch and wow! we couldn't be happier!!! From the men that helped us in the store to the men that delivered our couch, we had such a great experience. Everyone in the company is super friendly and helpful. The delivery men were amazing. They were on time, worked quickly and were just really nice guys. They put the couch exactly where I wanted it and when I changed my mind about the position, they were happy to move it until I was happy. Definitely recommend this company!!! read more

This place is hands down the best business to get a couch from. We replaced our only 2 year old couches that were falling apart with a completely customized piece from here and LOVE it. You can tell the quality is much nicer than our previous couch. If anyone ever needs a referral I'm sending them to furniture plus. There were no sales tactics involved, they even let us check out the fabric samples to bring home and were very patient throughout the 2 weeks and numerous questions it took to decide on the perfect choice for us. read more

Me and my wife went in here today. After looking on their website and prices and reading reviews on the net it seemed like a good place. The store isn't bad though it is a little small. They didn't have everything in stock that was on their website. They have some good values on sofa's and sectionals. Also their leather sofas are really nice but a little out of my cheap price range. Me and my wife actually found something that we both liked. It was a sofa/love seat set, both with recliners. and the love seat also rocked. The material was that fake leather stuff and looks nice and should clean up well since we have a baby. They were marked at 619 each so after tax and delivery it would have been around 1434.42. The love seat had a little bump in it from a repair so the sales guy knocked 100 of that and 20 of both of them for being the floor models. We ended up paying 1280 for the set after tax and deliversy. I tired to talk the sales guy into 1250 cash but he wasn't having it. sales people aren't pushy but there when you need them. There is an upstairs with no elevator and even with a wheelchair you wouldn't be able to navigate through downstairs very easy do to furniture close together. We had a stroller and I put it back in the car. We live in downtown phoenix and the cost of delivery was 85 which seemed kind of high but what can you do I guess. Made the total price a little higher then I wanted. Bought on Saturday and scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. read more

FANTASTIC STORE!!! When I first went to that store I was pretty impressed because it is a lot bigger than it seems from the outside. Still the selection on the floor isn't as good as some of the other guys but the best part is they can order anything. So just go to any store pick out what you want and go over the Furniture Plus and talk to Chad or Aaron and they'll save you probably $100 or so on your purchase. We had that experience when we purchased our first couch/love seat set not long after we were married and we went back there last week when it was time for a new set and we had the same experience. Definitely give them a try! read more

I purchased carpeting for my nursery from furniture plus. I walked into the store and loved it, it was like a little ma and pa shop and i always like doing business with the underdogs. I worked with a man named CJ, who at the time was very helpful and made me want to do business with him. I left there after receiving a reasonable quote and went to home depot to see what they could do. They price matched me, i went home, thought about it and decided i would rather do business with the smaller company who had offered to install it the very next day I called cj back and paid down the deposit of half the amount due. He then told me he was unable to come the next day due to another job. Well we decided the following wed would work. So i made sure we were home wed bc they were coming between 8-10 am. No call, no nothing. Finally at 11, i called store and they said he was out at another job and he would call me. Finally he got a hold of us and he said the carpet wasnt even in arizona like he sold it to me thinking it was. So we rescheduled for friday between 8-10. Again, no call, no nothing. I once again contacted store and to my surprise, he was at lunch and i spoke with his very polite mother. He returned my call and said, oh it wasnt on the truck again. Lets shoot for the next wed. I will know by tues night for sure if load comes in. Another lovely wed comes and goes and he actually calls me to tell me the carpets not here. Finally the next week, 2 hispanic gentleman show up at my door and say "carpet install?" after i received no forewarning that the carpet was actually here. The workers were very efficient and did a good job, as for cj's customer service, if u are not spending a lot of money, dont expect good communication. But i will say he will be sure to follow up on making certain he gets paid! I hope on the furniture end, their customer service is a lot better than his was. Awesome prices. Delivery included setup so that was a plus since we got an entire bedroom set. Would shop here again.

This is a great local place to shop for furniture. They sell quality furniture and it doesn't cost a fortune. Bruce is great to work with and is low pressure. He will leave you alone and let you browse without bugging you or he will show you things they have to help you hone in on just what you want. No pressure to buy. And if you purchase and decide you don't like the piece, they will pick it up and refund your money. The furniture we've bought here has lasted far longer than furniture we've purchased elsewhere. This store is such a find. We ordered a custom couch and it is perfect! Very unassuming store but has the highest quality furniture at great prices. Everything went exactly as promised. I ordered a dining set from them in mid-December 2014. They said it would be about four weeks to delivery. I called in mid-January to check on the order, and they said that it was coming from SLC and we had just missed the truck and they only come down once a month. Fine. They called in mid-February to let me know that my table was here, and it was cracked. They were going to deliver it anyway, so I'd have a table, and were ordering a replacement immediately. I called in April to see where my table was.... something about a dockworker's strike, but it would be there next week! Now it is JUNE and I am still staring at a cracked table. Six months after ordering. Sorry, I am pretty forgiving, but this is absurd. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Went in to look for new couch and was impressed by friendly staff and good selection. I hate shopping and sleazy sales people, I didn't have that problem here. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks for being honest and easy to deal with! read more

First, I love that you can customize nearly everything. I ordered 2 "custom" couches and an oversize ottoman for a very reasonable price, I could have possibly gotten slightly cheaper through another store but I liked the mom and pop feel of this place. I was told it would take about 6 weeks for them to get in (normally I hate waiting) but I knew it was worth it to get exactly what we wanted. They actually came in 2 weeks early and Furniture Plus delivered them to me the next day. 1 week later we noticed a very small hole in one of the couch cushions. It was so small we thought about just flipping it over to the other side and not bothering with what we assumed would be a hassle. After flipping the cushion we found an even bigger hole on the underside of the other cushion (have to flip and reverse for it to work), which was too big to ignore. I called furniture plus and Bruce said he would order 2 new covers for me ASAP. I regret not finding them before we had ordered some of our other furniture from another not so pleasant place. read more

Bought living room furniture last year and Bruce was most helpful and best of all--not pushy! Offered us financing at 0 interest for 1 year.
