Yesterday around 11:30 am, I stopped by this store to have a look at several items. When I walked through the door, Diane, who was working in the rear of the store, immediately acknowledged me and welcomed me into the store!. About 5 minutes later, Diane appeared and explained to me the storewide sale they were having. She pointed out many items/. I really appreciated this as several items I was interested in were 40% off! As I made my way through the store, I watched as Diane worked tirelessly in a very warm store. Evidently the air conditioning was not working properly. This did not stop her. I purchased 4 or 5 items all because of Diane. I have been in management a great many years and I can tell you, Diane is an employee that needs to be recognized. She relates to customers well and is aware of store inventory and sales. The other woman working in the store that day could learn several lessons from Diane. Well done Kirklands. I'd say Diane needs a promotion and a raise. read more

Wow, I haven't been to Kirklands since the Chandler location closed. It was girls shopping/lunch day today. We stopped in and there was so much to look at. I had to control myself. My husband and I went to Kirkland's off Market Street in Gilbert and were initially saddened by their closing. However, They announced there was a change in plans and they are going to stay open. Thank Goodness, there are so many options here. I recently bought a nice high quality scarf, and took advantage of the sales that were happening. We bought two baskets full of Christmas tree ornaments. They are so nice and different from your average decor. Thanks to the Christina, Bob the manager and the rest of the friendly staff for making our visit special. read more

They always have plenty of kitschy decorating things here, including lots of prints which are more unique than what you will find a At Home or Home Goods and always very well priced. We typically swing by every few months to see what new thins they have in stock and fairly walk away empty handed. Today was an exception,but it was still fun walking though the store. read more

They sell the worst crap I've ever seen. My wife bought this clock to hang on the wall. The first one the clock hands only moved downward. Couldn't move upward. Took it back for replacement. The replaced clock literally fell apart in my hands. So now Im going back again. I would never sell this crap to anyone. How is it that Kirkland can ethically sell this stuff. Would give a 0 rating if possible. Do not shop at this location unless you enjoy being treated rudely by store employees. We placed an online order, were never notified that all the items were received in store. Finally called to find out the order was in, but when I got there they said 1/2 the order was cancelled because we didn't pick it up soon enough. Instead of being helpful the associate told us we needed to call corporate in the morning. She was very rude and had 0 compassion. Worst customer service ever. read more

I went in on Saturday looking for an item similar to what I had purchased at a different Kirklands, only larger. To my amazment they had it. It was on sale and when the cash register scanned the bar code it came up cheaper. She didn't question it, she just gave me the lower price. Amazing, that's what I'm talking about. She did my exchange no problem and she was really friendly. This was my first experience at this Kirklands, and I like it more than the one I regularily go to, I will definately be back. read more

This location is terrible. There was a sign stating that items were 20% off, it didn't ring up that way. Associate asked another associate about it, they both had no idea. Called for the manager and she said if it's not ringing up then it's not on sale. We waited 10 minutes for that answer...she didn't even look at us, said no and walked away. I am always amazed when I go in here!! The selection of decor is incredible and I never have a problem finding something I like. I go here when I need a gift for someone because the prices are reasonable and I feel good about what I am gifting. Recently I received a gift card to Kirklands and could not find it- i was able to get the original receipt and they were able to fully replace the card with minimal issues! I always find great stuff for the house here. The other day I was looking for my daughter's new place and found stuff for me as well! The prices can't be beat. They now have a rewards system where you get points for all your purchases and can earn rewards certificates. They don't make you carry a card for it either which is nice since I have 50 plus cards for all these rewards programs everyone has! They are always really helpful as well. If you are looking fo something unique for your home at a reasonable price, this is a good place to start. Especially for holiday items! read more

We found a mirror here to use for our wedding seating chart, but it was broken! They called all locations and they were broken as well! So we bought a mirror online and they only ship to their stores and we never received it! It's been almost 3 months!!! We called this morning and they stated they still don't have it. The store calls tonight and states they do have it but IT'S BROKEN! We specifically made a complaint to Kirklands to ensure their warehouse packages the mirror correctly to prevent it from breaking like all the other mirrors. They obviously don't take care of their products very well! I'm honestly not sure why it takes this long to receive a mirror we have FULLY PAID for!!! I would think by now the store manager would be decent enough to apologize and work some kind of arrangement to guarantee this problem can be taken care of VERY QUICKLY! Very poor customer service and obviously poor care of their product!!! At this rate seems like we will never receive this mirror by the time our wedding comes around! VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS STORE/COMPANY!!! I'm sure they would not appreciate if this happened to them! read more

Went to the store to buy a mirror for my wife . We found one That was marked $75, when we got to the cash register they told us that it was marked wrong and It would be $159. We went back and checked another mirror, it was also marked the same price. When we talked to the manager, they would not honor the marked price! read more

NiCe high air conditioned store to shop for house decorating items....you can find great house warming gifts for others or yourself. Their stuff is priced nicely and very stylish for the home. Employee was very friendly....great looking dude too. read more
