I went into the Buckle store at Santan Valley to return an item and had my proof of purchase ready. The return itself was simple, but the manager told me I had to provide my full name, email and phone number in order for the return to be processed. Buckle's own policy only requires proof of purchase for in‑store returns, so I was uncomfortable being forced to give personal information that wasn't necessary. I provided it only because I was told the return couldn't be completed otherwise. I hope Buckle addresses this, because customers shouldn't be pressured to share private contact information for a basic return. read more

Nice, clean store located in San Tan Mall selling staples like tees and jeans. Prices are extremely high-- I made the mistake of not checking the tag and was extremely shocked to see the jeans I bought were $80. Staff was friendly, if not a little pushy. Sometimes you just want to browse and not talk to an employee 24/7, but it's nice they make an effort to be friendly and explain things. read more

Shout out to Hunter. I called a few days prior to my visit asking if they had jeans in my size . As a man, I sometimes struggle to get the right fit. Hunter checked and said they had quite a few and to stop by when I could. I arrived on a Saturday evening. The store seemed moderately busy. I was quickly greeted by a young man. It turned out to be Hunter and he recognized my voice and questions. Through the whole experience he stayed with my wife and I searching out exactly what I requested. Greeted immediately which I love, we were looking for a light pair of shorts, nothing to fancy. They have from fancy to classic khaki mens shorts. I'm sure you can find something that fits your style and age there. The staff was really helpful they checked the back for additional sizes even though they knew everything they had was out.. they went back and double checked. They didn't have anything in the back but we appreciated the effort. They guy was so helpful that we wanted to make sure we purchased something so we got a similar pair of shorts like the one he checked for us. We will definitely be back here. Needing Jeans mine were so worn out! Previously working at a buckle I definitely fell in love with their Jeans. After asking for help on finding curvy jeans Kyle gave me Parker's. Never checked on me nothing as we were checking out with my husband's stuff I said those are not curvy at all they squeezed my hips like regular jeans. He laugh and said well they are curvy. (No where on them did they say curvy) needless to say we will drive a little further to another location. read more

I love this store and I am not an teenager with my parents credit card. Matter of fact, I have teenagers. I am also not a size 0! The staff is always so helpful with the type of jeans I am looking for. I am also not 5"10 so Buckles free alterations are ALWAYS useful! I have washed and worn jeans all to exchange them because the fit sometime changes with washing and wearing. And the icing on the cake is they give Veterans discount!! I have a love/hate relationship with this store. I love the clothes, hate the employees. And, not just this location, it's pretty standard in all the stores. Every time I come to this location I have never purchased anything because of the employees. One time I came in super quick because I saw something in the window I wanted to try on. I had both my kids with me and it took forever to get the item into the dressing room and then the person couldn't stop bringing me clothes to try on after I told her I wouldn't have the patience with my kids to try on additional items. I ended up leaving empty handed. Most recently, I was in without children in tow, this NEVER happens, ever. I have so little time to myself, I haven't had a haircut in 6 months because I don't have time. I desperately needed some new jeans and have always purchased them from buckle. The last time I bought jeans, 4 years ago. Yes, 4 years. I was pregnant within the last 4 years and then had to lose the weight before I shelled out hundreds of dollars for jeans. But, my desperation is because most of my jeans this season have ripped and are threadbare after 4 years wearing them in the fall/winter. I tried on a few pair but the employee never came to check on me. I came out of the dressing room to find a different size in one pair, and no help. The employee just kept running back and forth between other customers and the cash register. I finally told her I was leaving. She said to call ahead next time and she would pick me out some jeans to try on. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Call ahead, maybe I'll have time in 6 months right after I get my haircut. This is the time I have now, to try on jeans. There is no future time that I have to try on jeans. Thanks for your help. I will have to find a new place for jeans. :( read more

Went back today after deciding not to go to the chandler one anymore because of the manager there and had a pretty great experience. Had to do an exchange and the assistant manager there, Garrett was super helpful and made my second time back here much better then the first experience!!!! The experiences that I've had at most Buckle stores I've visited have been less than stellar, but this store takes the cake. On my first time in the store I was immediately accosted by a guy folding shirts who quickly complimented me on my outfit (it's their sales tactic in that store....I've heard the same from several others). I mean, how much can a presumably straight teenager know about fashion other than it looks cool to waddle around with your pants below your a** and your hat tilted to the requisite 10 degrees with the flat brim. I browsed for about ten seconds then left because of the high pressue sales tactics I was being bombarded with. My second outing to the store I actually located a belt I wanted to purchase. I approached the cash register and there was no one behind the counter. I looked over to see five employees standing around shooting the breeze. I decided to play the "how long is it going to take one of these buttholes to notice me standing here" game. Nearly nine minutes of standing there, catching the eye of two of the employees during this time, I finally got fed up, walked over to their pow wow and asked if someone could ring me up. I didn't get any kind of apology for standing there for nine minutes nor was I impressed with the service I was given. Maybe I was ignored because I don't fall into the 14-17 year old category that mostly frequents their store. That was the last and final time I will ever be patronizing that establishment. read more
