I went here on occasion when I used to work down the street and when our car broke down here the other day, I unwisely decided to venture in for a few items while waiting for the mechanic to arrive. Overly crowded, odd layout in food section, the rudest and most inconsiderate clientele of any Walmart I have ever been in. Over the years at this store, I have mistakenly bought expired items, been hit in the head with a ball by a child old enough to know better (mother laughed instead of correcting him), witnessed a fight and stood in lines (even self checkout) for 25-30 minutes. There are carts everywhere in the lot and the store is dirty and unkept. I know what you're thinking..."but, Linds, it's Walmart...." No...this is the devil's spawn of Walmarts. Lol. I'm an Uber driver and pick ups can be very annoying at this particular location due to every day changes with "their" policy. The black man (older, bald headed) that works in the delivery area is extremely rude. You can't ask him a question without him being extremely rude or snappy. I used to shop at this Walmart all the time when I lived down here a few years ago. When I'm over in this area, I drop in here and get what I need. I think they must have remodeled it since I was last here. When I first started shopping here, it was one of the nicer places to shop, walmart wise. Great organized food section, and all the fixings that go along with it. Then, I stopped coming here for whatever reason and came in sometime later and it was a hot mess. Now? It seems to be back on track again. The one thing I hate about every walmart, especially this one, is the parking lot. Getting in and out seems to be a hazard, and you almost have to take your life into your own hands. Make sure your car insurance and life insurance are up to date when you shop here, mostly for the parking lot alone. Aside from that, no real complaints about the place. read more

I've never had a problem at this walmart before, but yesterday I went there to do some shopping and a small pillow was one of the things I bought. When I got home I tossed the pillow on my bed along with the pillow cases I purchased while I put the rest of the stuff away. When I was done I sat on my bed to unwrap said pillow only to see about 15 baby bed bugs crawling all over it. When I called and spoke with management he said that he could refund me for the pillow and pillow cases. I can see why your store has a 2-star rating...I have to say I am VERY upset that with all the money my Husband amd I spend yearly with your company that I am unable to do an "exchange" for incorrect products that were purchased. I came in to your store located at 1380 W Elliott Rd in Tempe, AZ to exchange 2 items, an ink cartridge and axe body wash and was told without a receipt they can do nothing for me. I'm not even looking for money back, I wanted the correct ink cartridge and a different scent of body wash. If this is how you treat customers that spend thousands of dollars a year with you, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I patiently waited at the deli for the 2 people to be waited on in front of me...then a different lady came to help me....it took 20 mins for 3 pounds of 3 different meats...meanwhile another person came over and helped 3 people get at least 8 different meats and cheeses and then came over to see if I needed anyhing else and made an excuse about being short handed when I said I was waiting 20 minutes for 3 pounds if meat...the issue was the person was so slow she was waiting on just me for the whole 20 minutes..It took a total of 25 minutes! read more

One star for lack of open registers. It doesn't matter if I go to Walmart in the morning, noon or night this place never has enough registers open. I learned a long time ago to NOT buy frozen food here. By the time you get through a register, load it in the car and get home everything is thawed. I even tried to bring a cooler bag with ice packs. horrible service! I went the other day to pick up some grocery's with my son. I was followed around the store by a man and woman pretending to shop. I learned they were the stores security who would watch suspicious customers. At checkout my son went to the rest room and was stopped by security accusing him of stealing a bottle of water he brought in. After we showed him the circle k receipt and they scanned it to check if it was there's I got no kind of apology and was just told to never bring anything in again. The cashier managers were also very rude not answering any of my questions and Whenever the cashier register locked up they came and got upset because they had to unlock it. Ahh, nothing beats the scent of body odor, cigarette smoke, and beer on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Walmart. Hey, we can get these free smells at almost any Walmart. Once you have been to one Walmart you have been to them all. Cheap prices and everything you could ever want to purchase all in one place! Rock on! Having said that, this Walmart's layout is pretty bad. Everything is scattered around the store, and it is so hard to find what your looking for. I think they want you to wander around aimlessly with no sense of direction. Of coarse the only people who actually work at Walmart are the cashiers, so good luck finding someone to point you in the direction of the hand soap section. I normally wouldn't even think to review a Walmart store because historically I've DESPISED them! But, recently, I discovered a Walmart - This Walmart - And have had a change of heart (so to speak). I find this Walmart to be free from 'Walmartians' (or at least I haven't witnessed any while I've been in there) and the staff is actually helpful and pleasant....That's right, you read that correctly....Helpful and pleasant - They don't appear to DESPISE their jobs and lives as much as I use to despise Walmart as law. Additionally, I find this store to be quite clean and well stocked with inventory, which is a bonus! A pharmacy, vision center, credit union, grocery store, hair dresser, automotive section, toy store, bike shop, Home Depot, and Office Depot all under one roof. I think I got lost twice. I've avoided Wal-Marts in big cities for years. Life is too short. But WM seems to be trying to upgrade its image, its stores, and the quality of the fresh foods in their Supercenters. So I gave this one a try. I got three or four items from the produce center (it was actually quite impressive), and headed to the 12 items or less lane. There were maybe a dozen people in that line in front of me. Sigh. Oh well. So I stand there - checking my iPhone email - and it slowly dawns on me that someone is yelling. So I look up and I see the cashier of this line - a grizzled old lady shaking her bony finger - is screaming for me to get out of her line because she'd turned her light off. No joke - screaming! It took me a good five or six seconds to truly realize that this was actually happening, and happening to me. So I yelled back that someone as old as her should have better manners, that her light was on when I got in line, and that she should feel free to proceed straight to hell. Getto FAB! Worst Walmart I have shopped here on many occasions. Most of the employees here are straight out ghetto with tats, body odor, foul smelling, fat, rude and unprofessional, with exception of only a few. Every time I come to this GhettoMart the products are never lined up with the proper prices, then when I get to the register it rings a different price. I have had to haggle with the managers about this many times at the register, because they had to products listed with the wrong price. I eventually got fed up, and said they need to start honoring the prices they have the product listed for. Their excuse is employees or customers may have placed them in the wrong spot, whatever the case may be, If a product is sitting square on the shelf centered and square above the price tag listed THEY NEED TO HONOR THE PRICE AS ADVERTISED PERIOD - NO EXCUSES! It is not the customers fault that the Walmart employee did not put the product in the proper place, or a customer did it, it doesn't matter, the price listed is what the product should sell for I blame management here, if they cannot properly train their employees to stock, and place items back under the correct price - IT IS THEIR FAULT, and NOT THE CUSTOMERS! Do not come here if you have any kind of disability with walking. I forgot about an incident a few years back when I was fresh out of surgery and ALL of their scooters either had dead batteries, or just out of commission so I had to endure that place on crutches. Fast forward to today, and they still have zero compassion for walking challenged people. They only have one entrance so of course everyone wants to park there. They use up about 20 prime real estate spots for curbside pickup leaving only far away spots for the rest. Once in the store you have the same issue getting out since the one entrance in.... is also the only exit. Basically you have to walk all the way back just to get out. If you have bad feet like me... you know each and every step is agonizing. Perhaps it would be better to use the prime real estate for your physically challenged customers, and let your people walk all the way back to deliver curbside. You are the only Walmart doing this so it just goes to show you don't care about the handicapped. I actually swore last time I was there that I'd never be back, but somehow... I forgot. I come to this store every single day out of neccessity and i hate it everytime. I work in a nerby restuarant, and im always having to run and get things. Broom. Grapes. Flour. Etc. Anyway. Its nice to have a store around that sells a multitude of items. Unfortunately, that wal mart is the worst store ive ever been to. Worse than dollar general in kingman az. Worse than mcdonalds in blythe. Worse than bashas in snowflake. everytime i go here i have to park in the dollar store parking lot at the far east end of the shopping center, because there are so many shopping carts strewn about the parking lot.(see my enclosed photos.) I should mention that while this is happening. And every day, there is a force of security guards on duty. Ive seen a chubby lady with short legs, an old man, and a 400 lb giant. I only mention this because none of them seem physically capable of performing a security job. Theres at least one more covert guard inside. And now theyve taken to havin a guy checking (and by checking i mean using a highlighter on it. He doesnt seem to be paying attention) reciepts. My point here is maybe if the parking lot wasnt so hazzardous to park in. Nicer people might come to your store, and you wouldnt need so much security. Have some of those security guards run some carts. Allthough i could write ten more pages about this store ill just say one more thing. When all these things are happening here, the carts ,the security the mess outside. During it all you can hope to see anywhere fron 3 to 10 employees sitting at a picnic table, right in front of the store, smoking, watching you like its ok for it to be like that. Like its ok for 7 people to be on break but i cant find one parking spot unnoccupied by a stray cart. read more

The only reason I go to Walmart if either because I was some crap that's dirt cheap or I need a fishing license. Well, it's that time of the year again to get that license! Dropped by later at night when my other errands were over, spent about 5 minutes with the licensing guy, but he said I had to pay up front since he closed his register (10:30PM). He told me I had to go to register 15, too. Now this license for all water ways with trout stamp and two pole stamp was about $60.00, and it was in my hand. A less honest man would've just left but not me. I wish I had. There were three people in front of me in lane 15 (NO ONE in other lanes), and it took 30 minutes. It was because 1. I was in the only cigarette line! 2. The cashier was very slow. 3. The drawer was not well stocked and she called for change every two minutes. I got home at 11:15PM, and I am glad my fishing license is good until 2010!!! read more
