I got a tweak to my swing that was simple, easy to apply and showed immediate results. I think it's fair to say that Golf-Tec is not cheap but I think the facility, swing analysis and coaching I got to improve were a clear value. So yeah, I signed up for their big lesson, fitting, etc package (also not cheap) and got myself scheduled out. Lesson package was very flexible IMO and I can share my lessons with my son who is just starting out. I've been back since and my previous tweak was still holding and we added another one that was harder but I was able to accomplish. Combined I was pushing my 7-iron a solid 15-30 yards longer, consistently. I also practiced on their simulators after my lesson and that was fun too. All the staff I've met are great so far. So yeah, can't ask for more than that. I recommend Golf-Tec and especially this location.

There is so much packed into this small space but offers memorabilia and collectibles from all eras and a genres. From sports cards to pokemon to garbage pail kids, to comics, to boxing. If you are looking for cards to sign, there are plenty of single player cards to sort through. The amount of singles they have is endless. It was fun rummaging through the boxes. It was like the old days looking for hidden gems and Easter Eggs in the 8 for $10 boxes. If you have a card addiction you can find your fix here. They do box breaks on a regular basis. My first experience was exceptional. I called and spoke to Sam who was super friendly and helpful. I informed him that I was looking for a specific player's card and because of my urgency, plus the scarcity of the random player I was in need of, he took the time to look through their assortment of singles to find me one and held it for me by the time I was able stop by that afternoon. I was grateful and impressed with the service to go above and beyond. I definitely want to return, though, it is a bit of a drive. I will say they always have deals and good sales and so the pricing is pretty good. They have a large selection and the place is really big so there's usually many of each item in stock. I had to wait a couple weeks for the appointment and right before, they called and canceled. This was super crappy since I had made the appointment due to extreme pain and numbness during riding and I really needed help. After they canceled, they never called to reschedule or follow up. This month, I reserved a bike rental on October 3. I needed the rental for a bike race coming up in November. About two weeks later, they canceled my reservation with no explanation via email. I responded to the email with the request to call me as soon as possible, but never heard back from them after several days. I had to call and found out that they had sold the bike I was going to rent and they have no other bikes available. Now, I am stuck in a lurch with no bike for an upcoming race. Flakes!!!!!

On a Tuesday, I called the Chandler location (spoke to Nick) and was quoted a "sale" price of $450 for a specific bicycle. When I arrived an hour later, Nick says that the price tag of $450 was a mistake. He refused to honor the price. Just a few days later, I found another bike listed on their website on "sale". I called the Ahwatukee location to confirm availability, only to be told by Thomas that the online price was incorrect and would not be honored. This happened twice in one week, at two different locations, with two different employees, and two different bikes. That's not a one-time error -- it's a pattern. Whether it's intentional or just sloppy, it feels like classic bait-and-switch behavior. I did end up purchasing a different bike from them out of necessity, but I absolutely would not recommend this store to anyone. There are plenty of other bike shops that are more honest and reliable with their pricing. Shop elsewhere.
