Signed up for a swing eval, knowing it was also a way to generate leads for a sale they had. Eval was great, staff was great, location is great. I got a tweak to my swing that was simple, easy to apply and showed immediate results. I think it's fair to say that Golf-Tec is not cheap but I think the facility, swing analysis and coaching I got to improve were a clear value. So yeah, I signed up for their big lesson, fitting, etc package (also not cheap) and got myself scheduled out. Lesson package was very flexible IMO and I can share my lessons with my son who is just starting out. I've been back since and my previous tweak was still holding and we added another one that was harder but I was able to accomplish. Combined I was pushing my 7-iron a solid 15-30 yards longer, consistently. I also practiced on their simulators after my lesson and that was fun too. All the staff I've met are great so far. So yeah, can't ask for more than that. I recommend Golf-Tec and especially this location. read more

Started to play about two years ago, started at 25 handicap. So decided to try GOLFTEC last year w/ (Coach Conner) and shot my best at 78. Currently a 13 handicap, in about a year. Took the drills during lessons and worked on it at the range. Well worth it IMO if you're trying to improve. read more

I have been with GolfTec Chandler for over a year now. Several instructors have departed and new ones have arrived with the result being I gained some expertise from several different perspectives. I am currently with Alex Farabaugh and he is the best in the business. He has great insight on ways to help you improve your swing and your game. I started lessons about 8-9 months ago with Tom the owner after a friend highly recommended it. I'd been playing for a few years and then plateaued. I still loved playing but was frustrated over my lack of improvement and my brother's continued!!!(grrr) improvement. I'm glad I started lessons. He broke down the deficiencies in my swing and systematically rebuilt it - although it's a ongoing process :) Tom has an uncanny knack for making swing changes easy to understand and apply. Add to that the ability to instantly review your swing and look at degrees of shoulder and hip tilt, turn and sway for immediate feedback (and you can login remotely to the golftec site to review your lessons with video at any time). I really think it's an ideal method to guarantee improvement. Tom is in an elite group in terms of his resume, 1 of only 8 PGA certified (the real certification, not "certified", AKA a PGA member who teaches) instructors in Arizona. I was apprehensive to start lessons initially because I thought - these guys are probably scratch golfers and will secretly joke about my Charles Barkley-esque swing. I had great success with GolfTEC several years ago, and after redeveloping some bad habits and trying some instructors who did not help, I decided to try GolfTEC again. I should have done so SOONER as the combination of technology, video, and Toby's coaching skill have enabled me to shed the bad habits, hit my driver (and all clubs) longer, wedges more accurately, all leading to a 4 point drop in handicap, and a personal best of 80 with 3 birdies! I had lessons with Thomas Tomlinson at Golftec. I have never had a better experience with golf lessons. Thomas direction throughout the lesson was consistent. He never told me one thing one lesson then contradictory information the next. Plus he had a structured plan based on my assessment on how he was going to improve my swing. The next thing I was impressed with was how adept he was at using the technology available. Golftec really has done a good job of creating technology that streamlines the golf instruction process. The last thing I was impressed with was how I am hitting the ball. I am hitting the ball further and I now have high draws which I have never had better. I haven't hit the course yet but I am hopeful that it will improve my game. The only downside to the lessons are they are quite expensive because in my case I needed many that I could use over an extended period of time. I needed more of an overhaul to my swing rather that a quick fix. The cost is still less than a new set of clubs and in the end I believe it will make a bigger difference to my game than new clubs. read more

I started GolfTec Lessons nine months ago. I heard about the program through two different friends and both had high praises, since they use a video and software system that analyzes your swing and compares it to a database of parameters based on swings by various PGA Tour Professionals. You can visually see where your swing lacks in set-up, shoulder turn, hip turn, swing plane, etc, etc. My instructor is Jeff Olsen, and I am completely happy with the progress and value that he and GolfTec provide! Jeff breaks down your swing based on a one hour swing analysis and re-builds your swing based on sound fundamentals. I went with the year long package, and I what I like is Jeff does not overload you with too many items to change at once. it a process and I went into the program realizing it is process. I was definitely a slicer that was very inconsistent to include ball striking for all my clubs, which is a common sign for for most amateur golfers, particularly those with a high handicap. I told Jeff that my goal was consistency and work myself toward a true Bogey Golfer. My first lesson, Jeff started with a proper set-up, which is highly important and the easiest to fix, then he gradually introduced swings fundamentals to practice. I can confidently say that GolfTec has shaved 10-15 strokes off my game! I can now consistently draw the ball and ball striking is definitely more consistent! We are now working on getting my game to the low 80's and breaking into the 70's! GolfTec is absolutely a great value for those amateur golfers that want to have a solid game and truly enjoy the game of golf! read more
