This was after watching me play one single hole Apparently, that was enough for him to decide I had no business being there. He then continued watching me for another hole, standing directly behind me during my backswing and creating an uncomfortable, distracting environment that made it difficult to play my best. Rather than allowing me to enjoy my round, he made me feel unwelcome and singled out. The most frustrating part is that I was keeping pace with play. I was not holding up other groups or slowing down the course. I was simply out there playing golf, enjoying the game, and trying to improve like every golfer has to at some point. Golf is a sport that takes practice, and everyone starts somewhere. For a course ranger to tell a paying customer that they belong on the driving range instead of the actual golf course is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. His job should be to help maintain the pace of play and ensure everyone has a good experience, not judge someone's ability after watching them play a single hole. Abe's attitude completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable round of golf. I understand that courses have rules and expectations, but if I am keeping pace and following the rules, I should not be harassed or asked to leave simply because someone doesn't think my golf game is good enough.

After 3 lessons with Frank, I feel I can officially leave this 5 star review…read more I started golfing about 10 years ago and over that time had gotten myself as good as I could on my own. I'm an athlete and learn very quickly so honestly wasn't too bad of a golfer. But I knew I had hit my ceiling of what I could teach myself. Plus I wanted to get my first custom fit set of irons and wanted to fix any swing problems before getting fit. When I came to Frank for my first lesson, I was not using my driver because of how inconsistent I was, and I was battling a hooking draw with my low-mid irons. Within my first few practice swings, Frank was able to point out exactly what I needed to change. After only 3 lessons I can honestly say that with my irons I'm striking the ball better, and hitting my target at a much more consistent rate. I now understand my swing mechanics better and why I was dealing with a hook so I can continue to improve. We didn't even pull out the driver until lesson 3, where after putting together all my swing/set up adjustments from the first 2 lessons, I promptly hit 4 of my best drives in a long time, right in a row. I have many more lessons to go, but I'd recommend Frank to any golfer who is ready to take their game to the next level. Also, he's just a nice guy and I think that's really important from a coach.

I've been playing in and off( mostly off) for a year and am inconsistent at best! Wellllll my first lesson I noticed improvement and was left shaking my head, , the second blew me away.... I was doing much better after just one lesson, but even better after the second, and now after my third, I really feel confident I can do this! Explaining why know I can do this! I can't explain why or how... but his determination and confidence in what I can do made me believe I could too. He made changes to my stance and grip and showed me why and how the small adjustments make a big difference . I don't know which one of us gets more excited when I hit a shot in the air and down the middle , but it's awesome !

I found 24 Precision Golf on Groupon and purchased a 1-hour session for ~$25. I was a past member…read moreat a different indoor simulator location that used Trackman4 technology and it was okay, but I felt it didn't get the distances correct on my longer clubs. This location uses GOLFZON technology which I was unfamiliar with, but I found the distances and ball flight were very accurate to how I perform outdoors. This location has 3 golf bays, but 1 was under construction while I was there. I started in the middle bay but after about 5min of warm-up shots the computer froze up (touch screen and mouse didn't work) and I didn't see any obvious way to reset it, so I moved to the left bay and was able to finish my time there without any issues. I was blown away by the hitting floor...the plates move to match your lie on the screen, and your feet and the ball lie are independent. It was trippy to be standing on the plate the first time it was shifting around. It made playing a virtual round way more immersive. They also have different mat textures depending your lie (1 fairway/green, 2 roughs, 2 sands). Another crazy feature is the balls automatically move to the tee within seconds of hitting your shot. The tee height is adjustable, and you can just move the ball off the tee for all the ground shots. After each shot, you get an analysis of your shot result...way more than just distance and feet offline. My favorite was a mapping where I was hitting the ball on my club faces, showing I was slightly off-center towards the toe of the club. It was also cool getting a full report of my stats and data after my virtual round- ball speeds, launch angles, sidespin and backspin, and more. Along with the hitting bays they have a large putting and chipping area so many people can practice at once. It was in great shape. They have memberships and different tiers from 1hr session and no guests up to 3hr sessions with up to 3 guests allowed. Groupon had another coupon which brought our total down to $49.60. The indoor golf facility is spacious and offers lobby seating area, a massive putting green, and two bays, with one more being added at the time of our visit. I don't know much about golf simulators, but theirs seemed to be cutting edge technology. They use GOLFZON technology which features moving swing plates and motion plates, auto tees, multi-surface play, and more. It was really neat and shows you your swing stats. The owner himself spoke with us and told us all about GOLFZON and showed us how it works. He also offers lessons at the facility, memberships, as well as individual tee times. We had a great time and would recommend 24 Precision Golf!

I had a buddy (great golfer) look up a few courses for me in Chandler which right next to Phoenix and Ocotillo was his recommendation. I'm glad he found it for me. Let me start by saying this was not an easy course for a high handicapper (17) like me, but it was extremely fun to play. I don't think I've ever played 18 holes with so much water in play on the majority of the course. The greens were kept up (not fast at all), the fairways were nice, and the tee boxes were in good shape as well. I lost a lot of balls but not because of the difficulty of the course, it was simply bad play. I believe they have three 9 hole courses that they use and I started on what they call Oasis. It was a great front 9. Ironically, the back 9 felt a lot easier with less water, but there was still plenty of it to go round. If you're looking for a fairly difficult, yet fun course to play, you'll love this spot. The clubhouse crew was very customer service friendly as well from the moment you walked up and I only paid $97 for 18 with a cart with one day notice.

Utilize your vendors from golf brands. Other courses offering hundreds of dollars, clubs, etc for lesser tournament registration fees. You offer what seems to be after thoughts to be cheap. Every course waters more in the summer so it doesn't get fried but morning tee times see dew. Not standing water and soggy ground with every step. The folks at Dobson ranch converted that course into one of the most fun and value-driven locations in the Valley. I trust their management. Thus, when I heard that they had purchased Ahwatukee, I was intrigued. There are a lot of inexperienced golfers rating this course 1/5. Most advanced and well-traveled golfers appreciate one thing above all: the greens. I don't care how nice the layout, fairways, or tee boxes are, if I can't get a true roll on my putts, it's an instant 0. However, this course has prioritized its greens as the first thing it's revamping, and it shows. Do not judge the greens by their visuals, they roll quite well and are firm. Happy to see a course where I don't leave a crater in the green nor rip it 30 feet back. Happy with the green conditions. I know they're putting in good work on the fairways and tee boxes. They can't help the conditions mostly. However my biggest caveat is the placement of the tee markers. Come on, please don't put us on a mound where the ball is either a Foot above our below our feet. I purposely teed off well behind the markers on occasion to avoid a poor lie. My other caveat is that the deals they advertise online were not accepted in person. This month they have been peppering Instagram with deals for college students, including a $29 weekend round with student ID. None of the staff had heard of this deal, so I was a bit disappointed to pay full price. However, they were friendly enough to give me a cart discount at the least. September 24th, you guys posted it! Overall, I'm excited to see where the course goes. It's a fun layout and the vibes are high here, I can see the vision!
