I wouldn't put too much emphasis on aesthetics as this is about as rough cut as they get. However, they have a driving range, a putting green And a chipping area. All of these surfaces are pretty rough and are not anywhere near top golf quality. However, if you're trying to improve your game, and you are not too bougie to play on some hardscrabble, check this place out. They do close a little earlier on evenings, but this isn't a course you would want to be out late on anyway. They also Have an executive nine hole course that you can walk or ride on. I got a tweak to my swing that was simple, easy to apply and showed immediate results. I think it's fair to say that Golf-Tec is not cheap but I think the facility, swing analysis and coaching I got to improve were a clear value. So yeah, I signed up for their big lesson, fitting, etc package (also not cheap) and got myself scheduled out. Lesson package was very flexible IMO and I can share my lessons with my son who is just starting out. I've been back since and my previous tweak was still holding and we added another one that was harder but I was able to accomplish. Combined I was pushing my 7-iron a solid 15-30 yards longer, consistently. I also practiced on their simulators after my lesson and that was fun too. All the staff I've met are great so far. After 3 lessons with Frank, I feel I can officially leave this 5 star review…read more I started golfing about 10 years ago and over that time had gotten myself as good as I could on my own. I'm an athlete and learn very quickly so honestly wasn't too bad of a golfer. But I knew I had hit my ceiling of what I could teach myself. Plus I wanted to get my first custom fit set of irons and wanted to fix any swing problems before getting fit. When I came to Frank for my first lesson, I was not using my driver because of how inconsistent I was, and I was battling a hooking draw with my low-mid irons. Within my first few practice swings, Frank was able to point out exactly what I needed to change. After only 3 lessons I can honestly say that with my irons I'm striking the ball better, and hitting my target at a much more consistent rate. I now understand my swing mechanics better and why I was dealing with a hook so I can continue to improve. We didn't even pull out the driver until lesson 3, where after putting together all my swing/set up adjustments from the first 2 lessons, I promptly hit 4 of my best drives in a long time, right in a row. I have many more lessons to go, but I'd recommend Frank to any golfer who is ready to take their game to the next level. Also, he's just a nice guy and I think that's really important from a coach.

Rather than allowing me to enjoy my round, he made me feel unwelcome and singled out. The most frustrating part is that I was keeping pace with play. I was not holding up other groups or slowing down the course. I was simply out there playing golf, enjoying the game, and trying to improve like every golfer has to at some point. Golf is a sport that takes practice, and everyone starts somewhere. For a course ranger to tell a paying customer that they belong on the driving range instead of the actual golf course is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. His job should be to help maintain the pace of play and ensure everyone has a good experience, not judge someone's ability after watching them play a single hole. As mentioned, because so many frequent this course the range balls are in bad shape at times. Although my last visit the range balls were good as I didn't find a majorly scuffed up one. I've been through a few instructors who just didn't do it for me let alone help me drop my scores. When I met Gil I constantly shot in the 100's. After about a little over 1.5 years of practice and drills I'm constantly shooting in the 80's and taking my friends monies. Gil has provided me with mental strength for my game and awesome alignment and contact drills that I can take with me anywhere. And if there's something off, they trainers are willing to make modifications to the workouts.
