There was quite a selection, and I was looking for a specific design so I looked for an employee who went through a lengthy process on the hunt for the tumbler I picked out. I unfortunately do not remember his name, but he had blonde hair I believe and was fairly tall compared to me lol. I have OCD, so I analyze every detail when I buy something. Or just everything in general. After he had recommended the Yeti Rambler and a few others, I ultimately decided on that one. This was when the probably most odd adventure at Dick's began of finding the tumbler color I liked that had the least amount of markings, dings, imperfections, etc. There were quite a few of that specific tumbler color, & it took a decent amount of time to finally decide on one. After pulling out every color of that size of mug I decided on, I narrowed it down to a few, but was still struggling due to some very minor markings I saw. I had asked for his help more than a few times to see if he could spot any markings on them and he crouched onto the floor with me, looking at them and pointing out what appeared to be the best option while I rotated the tumbler to look at it with the lighting at certain angles. Not only did this employee take the time and patience to help me, but went as far as getting me a wet and dry paper towel to see if a tiny dot of a smudge would wipe off -spoiler: it did indeed come off- but I really sincerely appreciate how understanding he was about the situation and how far he went to help me. I'd imagine a majority of people on this planet would go mad trying to help someone pick a tumbler for over an hour, but there was no judgment on his part and was very kind. I also left with an awesome tumbler thanks to him, and slightly embarrassed/guilty for the probably agonizing experience he had to go through lol, but still was very kind throughout all of it. Updated Review: Made an apointment to get fitted with possibly new shafts for my driver, and…read morepossibly even try out the highly hyped up Newton Shafts. Well this never happened. In addetion to a rediculus $175 fitting fee should I choose not to do anything, or new shafts wont add anything to my game (most all other companies only charge $100 including manufature fitting days like Titleist on real turf) There was a considerable mark up un shafts as well. Example: A Newtoin Shaft from Newton costs about $300-$325 direct from Newton. I was informed that a Newton Shaft from Club Champion was more like around $450 because they claim to do something extra to the shaft.. I suddenly feel I would be shafted!!! If you are a scratch or near scratch golfer with money to burn, this might be your place. Or better yet fine tuning by the club manufacturers if you are good enough fith connections. But for the majority of golfers out there, you can get fitted and outfitted by a decent fitter and any golf store for a lot less and likely equal results on the score card.

I made the purchase and was told the "Fitting Fee" would be reimbursed once it was turned in. That did sound right as the Club Champion business model ( or used to be ) is to charge the "Fitting Fee" on your initial purchase then subsequent purchases it wasn't applied. This is my 3rd purchase from CC and my "Fitting Fee" has still not been reimbursed a month later. Lanny

As mentioned, because so many frequent this course the range balls are in bad shape at times. Although my last visit the range balls were good as I didn't find a majorly scuffed up one. Range is lit halfway with targets and distance. This alone I would probably give 3 stars. Gil makes up for the rest. I've been through a few instructors who just didn't do it for me let alone help me drop my scores. When I met Gil I constantly shot in the 100's. After about a little over 1.5 years of practice and drills I'm constantly shooting in the 80's and taking my friends monies. Gil has provided me with mental strength for my game and awesome alignment and contact drills that I can take with me anywhere. I would suggest if you are looking for help this is your place and Gil can sort you out. Don't be afraid to step into a lesson atmosphere and learn a little. Enjoy the game!
