As mentioned, because so many frequent this course the range balls are in bad shape at times. Although my last visit the range balls were good as I didn't find a majorly scuffed up one. Range is lit halfway with targets and distance. This alone I would probably give 3 stars. Gil makes up for the rest. I've been through a few instructors who just didn't do it for me let alone help me drop my scores. When I met Gil I constantly shot in the 100's. After about a little over 1.5 years of practice and drills I'm constantly shooting in the 80's and taking my friends monies. Gil has provided me with mental strength for my game and awesome alignment and contact drills that I can take with me anywhere. We're used to it and we bring lots of cooling towels. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The driving range was limited to irons only during our visit, not sure why. The course was in great shape for the most part and the pace of play was ideal. There was no one in front of us or behind us pretty much the entire time. Food from the restaurant was decent. They provided a small "cooler" which is more like a small lunch bag for the drinks. The golf carts don't have coolers, which isn't a deal breaker, but a bit inconvenient especially since the lunch bag they gave us leaked and there wasn't a good spot for it in the cart. Regardless, we had a nice experience. We played all 18 holes and are excited to play again in the future!

Let me start by saying this was not an easy course for a high handicapper (17) like me, but it was extremely fun to play. I don't think I've ever played 18 holes with so much water in play on the majority of the course. The greens were kept up (not fast at all), the fairways were nice, and the tee boxes were in good shape as well. I lost a lot of balls but not because of the difficulty of the course, it was simply bad play. I believe they have three 9 hole courses that they use and I started on what they call Oasis. It was a great front 9. Ironically, the back 9 felt a lot easier with less water, but there was still plenty of it to go round. If you're looking for a fairly difficult, yet fun course to play, you'll love this spot. The clubhouse crew was very customer service friendly as well from the moment you walked up and I only paid $97 for 18 with a cart with one day notice.

Utilize your vendors from golf brands. Other courses offering hundreds of dollars, clubs, etc for lesser tournament registration fees. You offer what seems to be after thoughts to be cheap. Every course waters more in the summer so it doesn't get fried but morning tee times see dew. Not standing water and soggy ground with every step. It was the most unprofessional tournaments I have ever seen. Absolute amateur hour. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE!!!!!!

Full disclosure - I had swung a golf club maybe 2 times in my life before taking lessons. I am SO glad that I took lessons with Jim. He is very knowledgeable about the sport, but takes time to really understand you and works with you in the best method it takes for you to learn. You constantly see him writing notes and taking videos of your lessons (he also shares the videos with you after - self reflection and analysis is important!) and his feedback always makes me improve and feel better about my golf game. He truly caters the lesson to your needs and your abilities. He took time to really explain everything to me and answer all my (probably silly) questions and never made me feel dumb about not knowing golf terms or rules.
