I love the 9 hole, executive . Nice people beautiful place to golf. My favorite place to golf. Greens are very nice and able to go 9 holes again and again!!! I purchased the city senior card and really helps with the fee

This was a pleasant surprise! My hubby's frat bother has an ad on the 4th hole!

I really like this course! I just wish it was closer to our house. (We live in Chandler.) Anyway, the course is in great shape and the staff is extremely friendly! The views of the mountains is also nice!! I highly recommend it!!

It was my first time golfing here. It's just a 43 minute drive from my home via the back roads. I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape with green fairways and greens. The greens keeper and his team are doing a great job. The greens ran true. They do have cart girls making their rounds. The price was right at $40 w/tax and I would definitely play here again!

    Love to practice here!

This course is called the best kept secret in the Valley! Always in great condition, greens are beautiful, bev cart on course, drinking fountains, shade, all one would want for a fun golf outing! Staff always friendly & helpful. Marshall usually on course, but pace moves usually right on time even when busy. Also has 9-hole par three course, rental clubs, large practice facilities & restaurant with full grill & cold drinks!! Bring the whole family for some outdoor fun!!

    Great view!

First time hear and what a great course! Really well maintained and great staff! Course was in great shape considering the summer heat. Wide open at times so good for all levels. Bev cart came by 2x's, which is great! Loved the background of South Mountain, did not feel like a desert course at times. Can't wait to return!

One star is too high for the service received. The front desk is unhelpful, and possibly the worst managed golf course we have ever played.

Get a ranger. It should not take 4 hours and 50 mins in July with a 545am tee time. Ridiculous. First and last time.

I liked this course. 5400 for women but balls roll out fairly well. Greens were good. I would play here again without hesitation.

It is challenging due to undulating fairways and greens where our group truly enjoy the round. Will definitely return when I find good deals on teeoff.com again. Nice golf carts with TuneIn stations. When a friend (not just a buddy...anybody that that invites me to play at a place like this is someone that you would seriously entertain donating a kidney to) asks you come out a play this track, I only have one word for you...go. If you have to clear your schedule, fly home from a business meeting, tell the kids that daddy just can't be there for the piano recital or t-ball game, just do it. Why? Are these courses the best in the world? Well, I would not go that far. There are a number of courses around the country (and even in Arizona) that I think well of...but this place is definitely in the top five. Whisper Rock has two beautiful desert courses. The Fazio 18 is as nice a desert track as you will find. The sight lines are superb, every hole lays out nicely in front of you, and you will need to think about every shot (including your putts...remember where Phoenix is, and remember that these greens are generally pretty close to tour speed). There aren't houses surrounding the course, and it does feel like a walk in the park (OK, a desert park, but you get the idea). The caddies are great...uniformly impressive in their knowledge of the game, their knowledge of the course and their affability during the round...they all pass the beer test (would you want to spend a cross country flight having a beer with these guys as your seatmate? Yes=pass;no=fail). The entire staff is superb and at the same time welcoming and friendly. There is none of the country club crap that you occasionally find at some clubs (I was member at Blackhawk in Danville, CA for many years, because I lived there...but I always disliked the snooty atmosphere...it was one of the big reasons that I didn't join a club when we moved to AZ). Whisper Rock is a GOLF club, not a country club and everything revolves around that fact. The practice area is, frankly, the best I have ever seen! It's difficult to imagine the golf shot that you can't practice here. The facilities and surroundings are beautiful...pleasant and comfortable, but elegant nevertheless. A number of tour pros and TV golf personalities are members at Whisper Rock and I see why. Terrific courses and practice facilities, comfortable surroundings, real camaraderie and friendliness from everybody. What great week for golf!

We then grabbed our golf balls and clubs and headed on out. Once outside, we stood in line for the black course. Both the red and black courses had long lines but we opted for the black. We played all 18 holes and it took close to 3 hours to complete. We had lots of fun though and the music was lit. The course itself was challenging and fun. Upon checking in and paying, there is an assortment of putters and color-coded golf balls so you know whose ball is whose. Our party of six (max players in a group) played our way through the black 18-hole course in about an hour. Tiger Woods designed this course with two 18-hole courses, red and black (his Sunday colors) and it's a surprisingly challenging play. The green carpet is dense and plush, not like the Astroturf of many similar courses. The "sand traps" are areas of white carpet that is slightly shaggier than the green. Food and beverages are available on the course with a QR code to scan and order, there is a nice outdoor spot where we sat and ordered lunch. Next to us was a play area with ping-pong and bags, and a fenced toddler play yard. Our lunch was good and I highly recommend checking it out if you're in Scottsdale!
