Oh boy.... As much as I loved reading the reviews, I really knew not to expect these same amazing results, but was hoping for improvement. I've been playing in and off( mostly off) for a year and am inconsistent at best! Wellllll my first lesson I noticed improvement and was left shaking my head, , the second blew me away.... I was doing much better after just one lesson, but even better after the second, and now after my third, I really feel confident I can do this! Explaining why know I can do this! I can't explain why or how... but his determination and confidence in what I can do made me believe I could too. He made changes to my stance and grip and showed me why and how the small adjustments make a big difference . I don't know which one of us gets more excited when I hit a shot in the air and down the middle , but it's awesome ! read more

Read the reviews on Frank and sounded too good to be true. When a friend at work recommended Frank, decided I have to try. Three very simple tips later and only 15 minutes into my first lesson, Frank had me hitting straighter and more consistently than I ever have. Had lesson #3 today and cannot believe the results. My only regret is not reaching out to him sooner and instead spending the last year and a half on YouTube videos, endless hours at the range on my own and multiple rounds just getting more frustrated. After 3 lessons with Frank, I feel I can officially leave this 5 star review. I started golfing about 10 years ago and over that time had gotten myself as good as I could on my own. I'm an athlete and learn very quickly so honestly wasn't too bad of a golfer. But I knew I had hit my ceiling of what I could teach myself. Plus I wanted to get my first custom fit set of irons and wanted to fix any swing problems before getting fit. When I came to Frank for my first lesson, I was not using my driver because of how inconsistent I was, and I was battling a hooking draw with my low-mid irons. Within my first few practice swings, Frank was able to point out exactly what I needed to change. After only 3 lessons I can honestly say that with my irons I'm striking the ball better, and hitting my target at a much more consistent rate. I now understand my swing mechanics better and why I was dealing with a hook so I can continue to improve. We didn't even pull out the driver until lesson 3, where after putting together all my swing/set up adjustments from the first 2 lessons, I promptly hit 4 of my best drives in a long time, right in a row. I have many more lessons to go, but I'd recommend Frank to any golfer who is ready to take their game to the next level. I just had my first lesson with Frank yesterday. It was a great experience which provided me with feedback I needed to become a better ball striker. He did it in a way that enabled me to see where my swing needed adjusting. Frank also provided me with a very simple drill that I can practice anywhere. Once I've mastered the drill then come back and see me (Frank's words). He is very flexible about how I want to continue my progress with instruction. It was nice to know. read more

My husband and I are absolute beginners that have gone to a driving range about 5 times prior and leaving upset each time. Although we're both naturally athletic, golf is not a kind sport. In the first 30 minutes of our very first training session, Coach Frank completely transcended both of our golf swings. I have had about 8 lessons with "Coachie" - That's the chant you will hear no doubt after he starts correcting you and you start hitting the ball flush. He will make sure and let you know he is the best! LOL - The reason I like Frank - is he is an Italian from Chicago and has zero time for BS. He tells you what he thinks and will be completely honest with you in about the first 10 swings he sees you make. I had a horrible banana draw when I showed up - The left side of the course was a curse. He had that corrected in about 12 minutes. Although, I'm a bit of a mental pretzel, with bad habits that have no doubt taken me down the wrong path.., after my lessons. You learn the right way - (with your swing and ability) - no major changes. Principals that must be followed (again by you depending on what he tells you) - Once he spends enough time with you, he will give you the tools to be a complete player - you have to spend the time, then repping what he tells you to do. If you do this - you will go from shooting 100 (at Aguila) to 84 (Should have been 79) in a few short weeks. I have no doubt that Frank can get anyone started on the right path. Searched Yelp for golf lessons because I decided to get serious about playing and selected AZ Golf Lessons based on the reviews. I've been taking lessons from Frank since March 2018 and, while there's many other instructors/coaches in this part of Phoenix, I made an excellent decision. He is very easy to understand - he tells what you need to do rather than what you're doing, always with a positive approach. Also, he can tell you how much you're going to improve - doesn't keep going with lessons when not needed. He is ALWAYS upbeat & smiling. I started at around 115 - 119, there has been continuous significant improvement such that 2 weeks ago I shot an 86 at Trilogy. One of the features he offers is assessing your clubs based on what you need...meaning I don't have the same set of clubs I started with in March which has helped immensely. I believe somebody used the term "golf whisperer" to describe Frank. I am starting to believe that is a true statement. I am only one lesson in, and he corrected my chipping in as little as 15 minutes. After a short chipping session, we moved to the range to work on my swing. Before I even hit a ball, he was able to tell me what I was doing wrong while I was simply taking a practice swing. Frank had me tweak some things, and boom, I was hitting the ball straighter and getting more flight out of my shots. Keep in mind this was lesson #1! I can't wait to see where my game goes after a few more lessons. As far as Frank the person is concerned, I think he is a wonderful coach. He is very energetic, honest and POSITIVE. I am very hard on myself, and not a patient person so having somebody like Frank to work with me is very important. I need a coach that is confident, honest, and energetic. He is able to spin any negative into a positive - which is critical in this mental game we call golf. I hit some poor shots, and was beating myself up, but Frank was right there telling me everything was going to be okay and to just listen to his direction and trust him. I made the adjustments as he suggested, and starting hitting each shot pure. He stopped me and he started to celebrate like I had just hit a hole-in-one. I have been working with Frank over the last few months and I can't tell you how much my game has improved. Frank isn't like most teachers - he doesn't use any gimmicks or fancy gadgets to help your game, What he does is make things as simple as possible. He didn't change my grip or extremely alter my swing but rather taught me simple golf fundamentals such as club path and face angle so they I knew exactly what was happening on all my shots, and what I could do to correct. Aside from helping with my swing, Frank has really helped me on the mental side of the game. He has taught me to think positive and how to mentally prepare for each shot on the course so that the game is as easy as possible. I don't get to play much golf throughout the year. And when I say I don't play much, I am lucky to play 5 times a year. I was tired of playing with my friends and always coming in last place. It was frustrating given that I am athletic and something like this should come easy. A friend of mine that currently takes lessons from Frank told me to just take one lesson. I kept saying no because I did not want to spend the money and take the time to go. After one lesson, it was a game changer. Frank made 3 small adjustments to my swing. Frank the Golf Whisperer. Frank the Coach. I called Frank because I enjoy golf but I have a couple bad aspects to the game. First, I couldn't hit a consistent iron shot if my life depended on it. Two, my putting is atrocious. If my putting sucked I'd have been content but "on it two and 4 (or 5) putt" was my game. I say "was" and I'll get to that. My first lesson was swinging an 8-iron. In 15 minutes, my slice was gone. Did it return occassionally during the lesson? Yes, and I knew why and I knew how to correct it. My putting improved even before my first putting lesson. I watched his putting video from his website and discovered I'd been putting all wrong forever. His one-on-one lesson expanded on what I learned from his video and has put me on track to be a consistent "2-putt" player. As Frank explains, it's usually one little thing that hurts our game. He doesn't tear you down to build you up from the bottom, he just fixes what's broken. read more

I started lessons with Frank a little over a month ago. I started out with 1 lesson to see how I liked his style and personality. I thought he was super personable and the best thing was after the first lesson I felt like there was some progress already made. But here is what you are coming here to read. I have been golfing for 3 years. Before my lessons I was shooting anywhere between 102-110. My latest score was a 94 where I got 2 birdies and 5 pars in the round. That's right, 10 strokes shaved off in a month! This is a tremendous turnaround for my game where before I was maybe getting 1 or 2 pars and lucky if I got 1 or 2 birdie looks in a round. I have gotten better with each lesson (9 total so far) and I can already tell that I am going to continue to improve upon my score because of the techniques Frank has ingrained in my game. Frank is awesome! He is very knowledgable about the golf swing and teaches it in a way that is very easy to understand. He simplifies the swing to only the most crucial parts of the swing so you do not need to think about a bunch of swing thoughts. He fixed my slice in less than 20 min.
