    A nice graduation treat

This was my first time having a whole tea experience at Drink Me Tea Room! It was AMAZING! They have such a great tea menu, but I decided to try their banana nut bread tea. I was hesitant while ordering, but it was incredible. The flavor was so good! The pastries and little bites were perfect. Every bite felt like it was made with intention and care, they do not cut corners. The two servers were so sweet and helpful and really made the experience magical! This is the perfect place to go for a birthday or celebration!

We celebrated our daughter's 35th birthday at Drink Me today. We were greeted at the door and shown to a private room, decorated in all things Wonderland, that seated 12. Our hostess explained how everything worked, with menus cleverly added to well-worn and bookmarked books, the tea service and the timing. We got five pots of tea for the six adults and it worked out perfectly. We also got three fools of food, some savory, some sweet. Before service, they brought a dozen bottles of tea leaves for us to smell, plus they said they had bottles of every flavor they sold. We ordered Tweedle Twins, Marzipan, Earl Grey Cream, Mad Hatter and Alice. We each tried all of them but my favorite teas were the Tweedle Twins tea and the Earl Grey Cream. From the fools, my faves were the strawberry tarts, the hummus crostini and the cinnamon muffins. All of the teas, some of the sweets and a plethora of cute brunch-related items were all for sale at the neighboring shop. We each both tea and assorted knickknacks, such as stickers, tea pots, infusers, etc. All in all, we had a magical time at Drink Me but the prices were pretty steep. We paid for the concept and service more than the food.

Drink Me! Tea Room is officially a place I have been to twice, once for the Harry Potter theme and now for the Alice in Wonderland. Both are all-out experiences that immerse you in the theme. To this day, I do still think about the fake bacon-wrapped dates from the Harry Potter tea. That is one of the best things I have had the pleasure of eating. However, I think I would opt for the literary tea in the future. The full afternoon tea is always too much (and it's sixty-four dollars without the automatic gratuity) and I feel like the literary tea wouldn't make me regret the quantity of food I've consumed because my eyes are bigger than my stomach. Otherwise - please replace your gluten free bread.

Just came here again to try a seasonal tea set. I didn't realize they opened a store next door!! I love that I can buy and try out different teas. They also have a selection of vegan and gluten free pastries to choose from. I'll have to stock up some more on teas the next time we I'm in the area!

Food: cute and delicious food options. I also really enjoyed that it was all vegan and gluten free. You can't find that too often for tea rooms Drinks: the tea was delicious Service: our server was so sweet, I wish I remembered her name but I do remember it being spelled in a unique way. She was very helpful Ambiance: cute place with Alice and Wonderland theme. Misc: expensive for what you get, but I do understand its allergen friendly so that costs more. Parking was easy.

Girlfriends and I thought it would be fun to attend drag bingo. We bought our tickets for $25 each, not knowing what to expect. There was a bit of confusion, as the website said 6:00 but the email confirmation said 5:30. Turns out that the doors open at 5:30, and bingo starts at 6:00. The$25 drag bingo ticket does not include any food or drinks. The best thing about this place is the really cute atmosphere. It's definitely got an Alice in Wonderland tea party kind of feel. There are lots of story books and rabbits and pretty teapots. There's a corner with wing chairs and a faux fireplace with some shelves. I fell in love with the stuffed Cheshire cat and wished I could have grabbed him and run. It's actually quite large it has plenty of seating. In the corner is a counter where you can order food and tea and cocktails. First let me say that none of the four of us noticed either on the website on our confirmation emails that this place is vegan. We didn't notice that it did say on the window that everything is gluten-free and plant-based until after we had ordered and tried our food. So that said, we all really did not like anything we ordered except the fruit tart. We ordered the chickpea crostini, the banana pudding, the shortbread cookies, a berry tart, and the little maple pastries. The textures were weird and the flavors were just not good. I usually love banana pudding and but I left the entire cup uneaten. We actually left pretty much everything uneaten except that berry tart. Cocktails were weak. I will say the staff was delightful--very friendly and helpful. And my iced tea was fine. I'm also sure that all the different teas are good. But none of the four of us are gluten-free or vegan, and this place was not for us.

Looking for a tea party in the near future? Look no further than the Drink Me tea room on Warner Rd, Tempe, AZ -- it caters for all types of tea drinkers -- please read on! This tea room is great for parties I'd suggest as there's plenty of space for multiple parties of 4-6 persons -- and it seems quite relaxing with the decor. Customer service is exceptional with the staff aiming to please. I thought they were very conversational and they had an excellent understanding of the different teas selections. They have a terrific book which includes all the various teas on offer with descriptions of each-- very thought provoking. Their range of teas is also very good so I'm sure they'll have what your pallet demands. Incidentally the tea counter has a range of teas where you can smell and choose which one is the most appealing for you. One thing which I did find interesting is that the owners love the planet as they have a compost policy with local farmers so all of their waste goes back into go forms of fertilization. Parking is fine but it could be a challenge if you have a very large party. This business also has its own bakery next door where you can buy all sorts goodies-- make sure you try the scones before ordering your favorite tea! Lastly, tea is not just a chance to improve your sense of smell it's also extremely productive for health and wellness so I'd definitely recommend Drink Me! Tea room for all of the above reasons!

I really appreciate that this place is gluten free and vegan. Reservations need to be made in advance as they do book up.quick. the reservations were a bit confusing on the options as there.were limited details of what each contained. We opted for the full experience. The place was cute and it came with two types of tea. Both teas were good I really liked the toffee apple. For the food it was nice but there were way fewer savory then sweets it was not well balanced. The items on the stand were pretty good but the desserts on the plate were heavy and lacked flavor.

I wanted to love this place..but sadly I did not. This was my 5th high tea experience, the first was before I was even vegetarian. The other 3 experiences were in establishments that offered vegan options. I found Drink Me Tea Room on my last trip to AZ. It's within walking distance from my ex in-law's house. I saw that reservations are required, so did not make it over during that trip. Well when I knew that I would be heading back to AZ, I asked if my ex mother-in-law would like to go, my treat. She had never had a high tea experience. I was excited for her to try it out, and I didn't mention that it was vegan. I was really hoping for the food to be epic. I've been to places where the vegan options were delicious, and thought since this place was 100% vegan, that they would have some great creations. Maybe there could have been something I could have done to ensure that we would have enjoyed the food more. They brought out a book that included menus of the tea selection, cocktails and mocktails and food selections. Not sure if the foods not included in the standard offering was at an additional cost. I forgot to bring my reading glasses. I decided to trust what was the standard offering of food. We chose our tea, and we both received our individual pots of tea. And I will say that the teas were delicious. They didn't offer cream, but I asked if they had any, and there were several selections, I chose soy. There was a glass container with colorful sugar cubes. The bottom plate had the savory bites. There was a crostini with chickpea salad. Not very interesting..I make chickpea salad at home a couple times a month. There was a small container of diced cucumbers, diced croutons (?) balsamic dressing, cucumber cut in flower shapes with something on top, they were cute, but not flavorful. There were scones, no clotted cream or jams. There was a little bit of a sweet cream on middle plate, but didn't think to put on scone. The little chocolate cake with playing card was delicious as was the little pie or tart. I didn't care for the mushroom macaroons. The cookie with Eat Me on top were good while sipping tea. The ratio of sweets to savory was unbalanced with more sweets. This place was expensive. I paid $40 deposit and $67.60 at the end of our underwhelming experience. I believe that's typical of a high tea experience, but I don't think I got my money's worth.

12/7/24: Short version - wonderful experience, stellar staff, fantastic cocktails, beautifully themed decorations. It can be pricey, and if you're not vegan or a fan of gluten-free items, you may be unwilling to give it a try ... but don't let that stop you. We had three people at our afternoon tea, and none of us are vegan; we still had a great two hours. Longer version - ** reservations are required ** I am writing this a month late, but whoa, the experience still resonates. My sister was visiting and we always do one "big" thing while she's here. This trip it was Drink Me! Their holiday theme was Alice in Wonderland, and boy did they go all out on decorations. Their cocktails were aptly named, presented well, and tasted so damn good. Every single one of them. Yes, some were better than others, but between the three of us, we tried every one of their special tea cocktails from the menu and no lie, all good! The menus are presented in old books (what a novel idea! pun intended), they compost 95% of their materials (food, napkins, paper cups, etc), the staff was on top of their game the entire visit, and every single one was uber-friendly (kudos to our main server, Nekiyah). As I said, none of us are vegan or have gluten issues. With regard to the food items, some were better than others. The mini sandwiches were very good and seasoned well, it was the dessert items that I would not go for again -- but that's because I am addicted to sugar. ;-) There was a wide variety and a couple of them were not horrible, but my experience / view regarding gluten-free dessert items has always been that they are dense and lack flavor. Despite that, the food tray had excellent presentation and the desserts were decorated in a way that you could tell the bakers took their time. All three of us walked out of Drink Me! saying "WOW, what a trip! Let's do that again." Our final bill, minus tip, was $209. It was worth every penny. There are different tiers for menu selections (we chose one of the upper tiers) so please don't let the cost deter you from trying Drink Me! It is a fun place, especially if you have a special occasion to celebrate.

I went with some extended family for a Hamilton-themed afternoon tea, to celebrate being all together and a cousin's favorite musical. The service was incredibly friendly and whimsical. The decoration was very fun and included endless Easter eggs of the theme! They also allowed us to take a whiff of each drink's tea leaves before deciding which we'd like to do!

I loved this place. I found them by looking for a restaurant that would have gluten-free and dairy free options. They thought out all of the best cutest little options to spruce the place up and make it really look like an Alice in Wonderland theme from the tea types and the changing color tea for the Alice and the brands of the tea or I guess the flavors of the tea and the foods that they had everything was amazing. My mom is always pretty picky and doesn't like gluten-free or dairy free foods, but she liked everything except the chickpeas and maybe the mushrooms but the bathroom decorations, the little things in the bookcases. All of the details were pretty awesome and amazing to see the staff was wonderful. They did something special for my niece's graduation, which was very unexpected and they were super sweet. I would totally go back here so much so that when my niece graduates next year with her masters. She wants to come back here to celebrate so while I live on the other side of the country, I will be back.

I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

It's not really just squid legs had other parts of squid which I didn't mind. It tasted pretty good with slight crisp to it.. Batter had some seasoning which made it tastier. Then my ramen came.. Looked pretty good but portion looked small. But then again for costing $14 can't complain. Broth was nice and hearty and I couldn't quite figure out the flavor. Then I read the description and it said sesame.. Then it made little more sense of the flavor. I definitely would not call it spicy. Ramen noodle was nice and chewy just the way I like it.. Only thing I didnt like was the pork. It was not bad but I prefer the fatty melt in your mouth kind with my ramen. Over all the food was pretty darn good and price was on point. I would definitely come back here again.

But I saw other people enter and be greeted by name too; this place has a folksy ambiance that is very welcoming. The Grand Prix Crêpe I Ordered was recommended to me; I never would have ordered something like this unless it was encouraged. It was quite good and quite unique!

I took my cousin and my uncle here since they were out of state and needed some lunch on the side…read moreof some errands/sports. I gave them a list, my cousin said, "let's go," and we ended up here. Absolutely spectacular. The service was very nice, and you can even see how your food is made. It's an open kitchen with a coffee corner, and a place that makes homemade granola with a space that a lot of people are looking to sit down at. It's one thing for there to be no seats, but the Crêpe Bar had no seats because it was busy and because they do not disappoint with what they serve. If you want to pre plan what you want to get, no fret. They have an online menu. My cousin got the Second Time with Pork Belly on the side, my uncle got the Burrito Adobo Crêpe, and I got the Papa K with scrambled eggs. For the next 10 minutes, we ate and had only good comments about it. It also opened my eyes on what crepes could be, not exclusively sweet, but also savory and delicious. It is affordable. On average, you're spending $13-$15 per person, and if you want more, they got sides too. Though please note that I haven't tried their coffee. I saw a couple customers with cold brews or caramel macchiatos chilling while doing work, but please don't skip out. This is a breakfast and lunch place, so if you're in the area, you need to try it. It is fantastic for a reason and could arguably expand with how many people they serve. You can see the hosts, coffee baristas, and the cooks getting work done - that also has to be praised.
