    The classic!
    Tony C.

Rolled Out Bakery is so delicious! I went here the other day and tried the raspberry and classic cinnamon rolls and loved both of them! This small family owned business wa so nice and made sure to give me nice and fresh rolls on Saturday. Definitely go Saturday if you can! This market also has other items from other places like knitted toys for kids, chips and salsas and a lot more. I'll definitely be back for more rolls! Definitely check them out!

We tried a classic and pumpkin spice cinnamon roll from Rolled Out at the Gilbert farmers market and they were amazing! I typically eat gluten-free but was willing to try when I saw the Italian flour marketing. I didn't have an immediate physical reaction after eating the cinnamon roll, which was great! The cinnamon rolls tasted phenomenal and the texture and filling and icing ratio were perfect!

Cinnamon rolls were amazing! The bakery also had a lot of other vendors that also had good food. Would recommend.

They are very friendly but do not carry GF cinnamon rolls regularly! Be sure you call before you make the drive.

Not only are their cup cakes beautiful but they are also moist and delicious. The owner came out and gave me and my daughter two free cupcakes while we were waiting for shakes, and made us feel welcome during our whole visit. The prices are more than reasonable. They were offering free milkshakes to the first 100 participants and we were lucky enough to score one of those gifts! We decided to just take one and share it and decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is made with Blue Bell chocolate ice cream, hot cocoa mix, chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff and a "kosher" marshmallow. I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. We decided we would try the store in Gilbert at some point this summer to see what other goodies they offer. Overall, a good treat and thank you for the free goodie! Sorry, there was so much going on at the moment, I didn't take a photo of the actual milkshake!

Gelato is something I love to indulge on occasion, and after a couple Yelper friends reviewed, I had this on my radar to try. When my friends today mentioned wanting dessert after lunch, I suggested this as it was in proximity to where we met for ramen. The owner (I presume) greeted us and so did his brother who was seated in the lobby. They boasted it was the best gelato in Arizona, and it was authentic like Italy. I was skeptical at first as a lot can talk a big game, but then you try it and it's average. Stracciatella is a classic flavor and one of my favorites, so I requested a sample. It was very creamy, but the dark chocolate helped cut the sweetness. I ordered a piccolo (small) and it was just the right size for a treat. My friends ordered behind me and I found a spot for us to sit and chat. The interior is mostly tables for two chairs, but we made a table of three. In the future, I'd probably grab to go as it's fairly small. Still a solid choice for a sweet treat and I would recommend it if you are in the area.

AZ Chimney Cakes specializes in Kürtöskalács, a.k.a chimney cakes, an incredible dessert that originated in Hungary. I have Romanian roots and Kürtöskalács are quite popular in Romania. That's where I had my first chimney cake. Located in the same shopping center as a movie theater, a Japanese restaurant, and a bunch of other businesses, I parked without any issues in the free back lot and walked over. Ambiance (4/5): A cozy dessert shop. I felt right at home when I saw a map of Bucharest by the entrance. You order at the counter and then they bring your order out to you. We sat at a table close to the door. Service (5/5): Friendly service and we were fortunate enough to chat with the owner for quite a bit. We learned about the history of the dessert spot and how they're trying out some new ideas. Nice lady. Drinks (N/A): No drinks for me on this visit. Food (5/5): If you've never has a chimney cake, you're in for a treat. They're made to order and customizable. More so than anywhere I've ever seen. You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!
