Went here for the farmers market in Gilbert. Coffee was surprisingly good and beignet was good but definitely lots of filling. Really loved the cinnamon sugar yum yum! My biggest turn off was the dough was really tough on the edges, so much my jaw was getting tired lol (even started aching). So I'm not sure what that is about. I also just came back from NOLA so comparing that dough to this dough, there's just something missing to give it that edge. Services was friendly and communicative, they let me know they needed time to get my order and how long the order would take. There were 2 parties ahead of me and it took 10 min. Also check their page/IG before you go, they update regularly, I had planned to go and right before I left I saw they posted they cancelled. Definitely not the beignets I am used to. I suspect they were sitting in an oven, possibly to keep them warm. As a result, the bottom of the beignet was tough and a little hard. The rest of the dough was chewy. It also tasted a little stale, like the plain taste of flour. It overpowered the flavor of the filling. I had the custard one, and it was a tad gritty--definitely not a smooth custard. Flavor was a nice vanilla, though. I gave this 3 stars because I also had the Butter Babe latte, which was really good! Just, for the name being Beignet Babe, the beignets should be the star of the show. read more

I have had beignet babe before at the Phoenix farmers market and had a craving and there was a pop up in the west valley at enroute coffee. I put in an order and everything was made on the spot. There are a lot of flavors of fillings to choose from and also traditional and cinnamon sugar that are not filled. These are fluffy warm delicious beignets made perfectly. I wish they were not so far. We got an order for our house and an order for my parents. We got traditional non filled that are topped with powdered sugar. They are our personal favorite, sweet and fluffy and not too much. We also got vanilla filled, Cinnabon, chocolate and the flavor of the month which is spiced hot chocolate marshmallow. I confirmed my order- 2 Cinnabon beignets and 2 lemon crullers. She wasn't friendly. I was going to say "very friendly" but she wasn't friendly at all. She seemed so annoyed to be there. No smile. Traveled all the way from north Glendale to Goodyear. By the time we got there, 45 minutes after their opening, they were sold out of everything except regular benignets. No problem. We ordered 6 and was told it would be a 45-minute to an hour wait. No problem as they were set up in front of a really nice coffee shop. After 30 min, decided to check on the progress. Oh my goodness. I'm so full. Full of beignets. It took everything in me not to eat all of the beignets to myself. I ordered two traditional and 2 filled. I can't decide if I loved the traditional more or the filled. The Cinnabon was so delicious as was the lemon. I'm determined to try all of the flavors now. My friend and I had gone to an apartment complex on Fat Tuesday to grab some beignets.
