They were offering free milkshakes to the first 100 participants and we were lucky enough to score one of those gifts! We decided to just take one and share it and decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is made with Blue Bell chocolate ice cream, hot cocoa mix, chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff and a "kosher" marshmallow. I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. We decided we would try the store in Gilbert at some point this summer to see what other goodies they offer. Overall, a good treat and thank you for the free goodie! Sorry, there was so much going on at the moment, I didn't take a photo of the actual milkshake!

I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. We arrived on a Saturday around 1130 am and their was plenty of items available Can't wait to come back

Prime location, FABULOUS coffee, gorgeous shaded and fenced patio with a spacious interior PERFECT for kids and adults. Villa Meola is so bright and open inside but not over stimulating. The lighting is well thought out for both working and/or kids who are more sensitive to light or noise. The music is fun, classical and appropriate both for volume and language. (finally- more places like this pleaseeee) The atmosphere is super inviting and friendly for people of all age in both space AND a toy corner. There is also a large Connect 4 game outside. My four year old actually shouted, "I love it here." And I, with 4 under 4 was able to sit and enjoyed my fantastic drink under the sunshine while I could see my kids play through the open door and window. To my pleasure, I had the privilege of meeting the owners. Callen, also a mother, was so warm and welcoming. I cannot believe they have been open such a short time as they have a deep understanding of their space, demographics and impressive knowledge in making Italian coffee. This is not another boujie, over priced coffee shop that pretends to be kid and work friendly. This is the real deal. So great!

Never have been to a dough bar, so we decided to give it a try! First, I was happy to see that they gave samples (small metal spoons that they reuse after sanitizing). This allowed me to try before getting. I ended up ordering the 50/50. You are able to get different flavors for each scoop. I ended up getting mint chip and cookies & cream). Both ice creams were delicious and tasted creamy and smooth. For the dough I got peanut butter explosion and chocolate chip. My only change would have been getting vanilla instead of mint chip. The mint chip was delicious, but I feel that the flavor detracted a bit from the cookie dough. My daughter got the 50/50 with two scoops of vanilla and two scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough. She really enjoyed both, but it was too much for her (taking one for the team I helped finish hers). Both my wife and my mother-in-law ordered the four scoops of dough. My wife had the chocolate chip cookie dough, white chocolate macadamia, cookie butter, and cookies and cream. My mother-in-law had brownie batter, key lime, oatmeal chip and snickerdoodle. Both said that next time they would get one to share, as it was cookie dough overload. My wife's comments: "I loved the variety. The cookie batter was exceptional. It was like eating cookie butter straight from the jar." My mother-in-law's comment: "A definite overdose, but delicious. My favorite was between the key lime and the oatmeal chip."

Oddly, I had a craving for cookie dough, so I opted for the small, which is 4 scoops of your choice. 2 choco chip, 1 brownie & 1 oatmeal choco chip is what I decided on. The choco chip and brownie were PERFECT! It really hit the spot and satisfied the craving I was looking for. The oatmeal to me was just okay and tasted overly sweet- I think I got a toothache! Service was great, the gal who took my order was very kind. I was the only one in, so must've been just a slow summer day.
