I visited here recently and had another wonderful experience. I previously visited with my niece and we were delighted to find this yummy sulbing location in the heart of Gilbert. Some of the places that offer this don't get the formula quite right of the mix for the snow. I think it might depend on the kind of milk and water ratio, but this place is on point. The snow is light and airy and has a good mouth feel. It melts well without giving one a cold freeze headache. Previously when I have visited, I ordered the strawberry but this most recent time I had the mango. My friend had the very very flavor. Both were good and had the right proportions of flavor and snow. I am delighted that this location is owned by a nice Korean and I will definitely return.

This is a really cool place and isn't like any place we've been before. Kids decided on vanilla snow, with condensed milk, mango syrup and mango pieces. They absolutely loved it. Service went smoothly but with only one person serving and taking orders it was a bit of a wait.

Delicious!!! Frostails has a couple of tables and benches and a couple or stools. It is a small dessert shop but very clean and absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying bingsu and I highly recommend it. It such fine snow that melts in your mouth and topped with high quality syrup/puree and fruit. The guy working there is really great at walking you through the ordering process if you're unfamiliar and explains how to eat it. This place is about an hour away but we will definitely be stopping by again!

Q: What do you call a citron who wins an award? A: An out-zest-anding achiever! Having practically needed to be rolled out of the restaurant next door, I really wanted a warm beverage to help with digestion. Enter citron yuja cha! While I didn't get any bingsu myself, I stole a couple of bites from my friends' ube bingsu and some strawberry matcha bingsu as well. So fluffy and oh so good! This is the kind of dessert that would satisfy immensely on a warm Arizona evening (and we have plenty of those). My tea was everything I wanted though: Served hot with the vitamin C boost from the citron marmalade and enough honey to make it a sweet after-meal treat. I enjoy my nightly evening teatime ritual at home so it was nice that I didn't have to prepare my own cup for the night. Thumbs up for Frostails! Stop on by and get yourself some bingsu and Korean snacks!

After having dinner next door, we grabbed dessert here. A few of us ordered bingsoo and a few others ordered drinks. First time trying this place but I have seen it on Yelp for a while. The owner was really nice. He made an off the menu flavor for me but only because our lovely CM was there! I ordered an ube bingsoo topped with chocolate sauce. It was good but could use a bit more ube flavoring. I really appreciated him doing that for me. I tried some of the matcha strawberry bingsoo and that was delicious! I would recommend getting that one if it's your first time there. The owner was nice enough to give us all some Korean honey cookies as well!

Unique Korean Shaved Ice right here in Gilbert Frostails offers some cool culture to Gilbert's food scene with its incredible Korean shaved ice. Watching the machine create soft, snowy ice on demand is part of the experience. The process is simple and customizable--choose your base, sauce, and fruit, and you've got a perfectly personalized treat. The service is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who make the whole experience even better. The area's got great outdoor vibes too, so grab your treat and enjoy it under the Arizona sun.. Parking is limited, but we've never had trouble finding a spot when visiting. If you love exploring fresh food cultures and want to try a unique dessert, Frostails is worth the trip. Saluti

Come get yourself a bingsu at Frostails! My husband and I have been here a few times already. Probably the best and only bingsu in the area. Albert, the owner, is always so nice and inviting. We always get the mango bingsu. It's enough to share with another person. The tables, counters, and bathroom are always clean. This is our favorite dessert place. Don't skip on all the Asian snacks in the store as well!

My wife and I wanted to cool down after hiking. We shared a regular size mango bingsu, it hit the spot! It wasn't too sweet and the size was plenty for both of us. I've been here a number of times already since it opened. Albert, the owner, has always been hospitable. I can't wait to come back to try some of the other snacks and drinks!

I love shaved ice. I will drive any amount of miles for one in the hot summer days. Frostails has a mango bingsu that is just plain delicious. Better than shaved ice. This is a Korean business, so now I'm curious about all the other items in the menu. I'll be back!

This is my second time coming here because it's far from me, but I LOVE their lattes! They have various milks imported from Korea (from what I remember the owner telling me) including black sesame milk! If you haven't tried it, try one of their iced coffee with black sesame milk it is amazing.

I've had this location bookmarked for a while now and I finally made it in last week. I brought my sister and mom along and we had a great time. We were quickly greeted and welcomed as we walked on in. The inside is spacious, clean, and there are a few tables and chairs set up. The owner gave us the 411 and explained to us all the flavors, toppings, and types of bases you can pick from. You can build your own or pick from the menu and we picked a mango one from the menu. We looked around while we waited and bought some apple juice, chips, and a fluffy cheesecake from the fridge. The Bingsu was delicious and I was immediately taken back to when I first tried it in Korea. It tasted very authentic and not artificial. The yogurt base was delicious as it was very creamy and flavorful, ugh it was a mango heaven.. There was another family that walked in while we ate and they also ordered and sat down. The owner was very nice and he came around and gave us all some mini pies to take home. We ended up eating the fluffy cheesecake at home and MMMMMMM it was delicious! I can't wait to be back soon!

There's snow place like Frostails! Since January 2023, Frostails has been my go-to for all things sweet and Korean! I love that they keep expanding their menu and offerings. From their packaged snacks to their syrups, everything is authentic and from Korea. The owner, Albert, prides himself on the quality of his products and he can often be found crafting drinks and desserts behind the counter. Having been here many times, I've sampled various items like their bingsu, snowflake drinks, snacks, and kimchi. Everything is delicious, but my absolute favorite is the strawberry matcha bingsu! The flavors are on point. The shop is bright and impeccably clean. Albert and his team do a fantastic job of maintaining a pristine space. We're fortunate to have this hidden gem in Gilbert!

The shaved ice is actually amazing! Also a great healthy dessert alternative for people that are trying to have a nice sweet treat that is low-calorie. A very underrated spot, this place deserves so much recognition! The owner Albert is awesome as well & offers tons of Korean snacks and other treats.

My review went up on 5/21 and by the very next day, 5/22, a regional manager named Jayson responded publicly as the business owner, and left his email. I emailed him that same day, and after I followed up on 5/27 he wrote back, copied the store manager, and asked me to send my phone number and a good time so we could talk it through directly. I did exactly that, same day. That was 5/27. It is now 6/9 and I have not heard a word back. No email, no call, no text. The original incident was 5/10, so we are at 30 days now. This wasn't a stray hair - that's relatively benign and sometimes happens in food prep, not great but harmless. This was a different category of foreign body in food: fragments that looked like they came off equipment, which means whatever produced them is presumably still in use, still capable of doing it again to the next person. This is what made the unresponsiveness frustrating. It's not about my daughter's one açaí bowl, it's about whether the thing that caused it ever got looked at. A simple "we looked at it, can't determine yet what happened, but we'll update you" would have been fine, but I got boilerplate "you deserve better" corporate slop. I didn't want my ego stroked, I wanted them to look into something serious. They are great at moving fast in public: their Yelp! reply was up within a day, right under my review, where everyone can see it. But the private follow-up, the part nobody else is watching, has now gone three weeks radio silent, after they were the ones who asked for my number, but never used it. Fast when it's visible, and crickets when it's not, tells you where the attention really goes. If you're reading this and trying to decide, take a little time with the reviews here, the detailed ones and the thin ones, the recent and the older, and decide for yourselves if there is a pattern or not. I'm done with them, they lost my trust. For the record, their açaí bowls when they don't contain bits of industrial machinery are pretty good, but we'll go to Swami's when we are in Oceanside and will try to find something else in the valley.
