I had an early appointment in Queen Creek so I decided to take the opportunity to try Americano Ammunition Coffee. I accidentally parked in the drive-thru lane and the staff politely redirected me. I quickly moved my car and walked inside. I was greeted upon entering. My go-to when I try a new coffee shop is a honey cinnamon oat milk latte, which was made quickly. The specialty drinks were tempting, though. The latte was smooth and helped fuel my day. Will definitely return when I'm back in the area! read more

The nice ladies at the Sweet Creek Boutique (on the corner) told us how great the coffee is here. My husband went over and got a Breve (a latte made with half and half), and it was very good and creamy. We learned that they also sell pastries on Fridays and Saturdays. Cool coffee shop and very low key. I had the chai latte which was good but will be trying something else next time as it was a bit too sweet for me. Drive thru was busy in the morning, but walk in wasn't too bad. They have a seating area outside which is nice for those cool days and if you get hungry, go check out Maritza's Papusas just across the parking lot. Great combo! Coffee wasn't great but it was good. A little too sweet and I like sweet so you can imagine how sweet it was. I got cookie dough white mocha based on recommendation. A little confusing navigating to get in and order with the drive thru and all. Interesting concept with ammunition sold there too. Main reason for a 3* not a 4* is the light ice I asked for was not light. See picture to see after u drank it after driving in 110° heat. I came in on a Saturday around 7:45 am and wanted a regular coffee. I was told they were out at the moment but they could do an Americano.... I didn't see pricing for the Americano but I needed coffee....it came to $7.25 for a large Americano that is crazy.... I believe a large drip coffee is like $4. Awesome coffee. Barista told us the owner roasts the beans himself! Locally owned and operated. Prices are comparable if not better than other large brand coffee shops. Husband and kids loved it as well. Nice, covered sitting area outside. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a good selection of ammo- husband said that they have all the common ones as well as a few "off the wall" ones that aren't as common. We will definitely be coming back! Adorable little coffee shop! We stopped in on Tuesday to try it and I am so glad we did. I got the desert eagle ice blended and it was A M A Z I N G!!! Super good- really creamy Service was quick and friendly. I mentioned that it was our first time in and the gals at the counter gave us the rundown on everything AND a punch card!! Super stoked to fill that. The only downside is that the ammo doesn't have prices on it so you have to bug the staff for pricing. Really cool selection though!! read more

Great coffee at a fair and average price point. I'd go there more if the drive thru wasn't so ridiculously long. They definitely need to figure out a new concept for the drive thru (ie doing what Dutch does and having people come take the orders instead of exclusively ordering at the window). Coffee was ok, nothing to write home about. I don't understand the theme of coffee and ammunition being sold in the same place. Pricy! Twenty bucks for a pound of coffee beans, Six bucks for a medium cold brew, but I guess that's everywhere currently. The girl behind the counter was polite and welcoming. Good coffee. Latte was your standard, tasted just like Dutch Bros. and was thick enough, definitely not third-wave quality, though. My husband got the patriotic breve, and it was flavorful, just had a ton of ice, but I loved the salty aftertaste to it. A few seats outside. They have a loyalty punch card. Loaded So what does ammunition have to do with coffee? I was told that years ago, before this area was popular, people came here to buy ammunition.... possibly out of a truck or street vendor. When I walked into Americano Ammunition Coffee they have a small shelf with ammunition, so they may have been one of the vendors from years back. Now they make good coffee. Figuratively I think of coffee as being my ammunition. When I wake up in the morning and need to be alert and have energy I rely on my coffee. The coffee here is great, I always go with the desert eagle. Hard to describe, it's strong, but not strong, as in bitter. The owner explained that he had his own way of brewing and was very helpful and enthusiastic when talking about his coffee. Lines can move slow, because all drinks are made to order and they don't have loads and loads of employees like the big places. I was able to figure out that it's about 3 minutes per car (if no one is out taking orders in the drive through line), good to know if you plan on stopping by before work, give yourself time. I love the feel and atmosphere of the place, and its employees, has a small town feel, like they serve their coffee because they actually love doing it - and it shows. My husband and I stopped in to try this coffee shop and we are so glad we did! The staff was so friendly. It's pretty cool that you can buy ammo too, they had some pretty cool merch as well! They have a nice front patio area where you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee. The coffee was delicious, you can get it hot or iced . They also have some teas as well! Cool small coffee shop right next to the Cotton Gin. I actually parked and went in (plenty of parking) but they have a drive-thru as well. Didn't have much time to look around but the place was super clean, coffee was good and the employees were super friendly. I was in and out with a hit coffee that was bomb.
