This is a lovely coffee shop anytime of day! The cafe offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but is almost always busy and bustling! The convenient Agritopia location is beautiful and central. I typically order an iced chai latte (which tastes like Xmas in a cup :-) A chai latte is not my typical order at other coffee/ tea shops, but I've never been a fan of the espresso here. The ingredients (matcha/ syrups, etc.) from what I can tell are not 'high quality' but most of the drinks I've tried are still delicious! When arrived, I let the gal up front know and she responded with "oh maybe they are still working on it, I don't know" No questioning on my name or order to help figured it out. We've been coming here for the past five years, and this review is long overdue. This place is fantastic! The quality is truly second to none. Everything is fresh and top-notch, and you can really taste the care that goes into every item. If you're coming for the pastries, make sure to get there before noon. They're incredibly popular and sell out daily--and for good reason. Every pastry we've tried has been delicious and perfectly made. We've also tried many of the entrées, from their generous breakfast portions to their wonderful sandwiches. Everything we've ordered has been consistently excellent, which is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. On top of the great food, the staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive. It's clear they take pride in what they do and in creating a great experience for their customers. There is also a large shaded patio that makes it a perfect spot to eat outside. My client said, "I've got just the spot, order The Boss, and no matter which latte you have, you won't be disappointed" Break it down: - Cookie Butter Latte is something I've not yet seen on any other cafe menu and so I had to try it. The coffee shop baristas prepared it very well. Balanced and flavorful on all notes. - The Boss. A simple sandwich of the most elementary of ingredients. Turkey, Bacon, Avocado, sourdough etc etc... all the more reason to give The Coffee Shop the highest praise. When you have something so straight forward, it's the assembly and the quality of the ingredients, also the balance. The bread was so nice, toasted just right, with each bite, holding together all the layers. No chance for a mess, and no chance for any bite to miss any opportunity for full flavor. Proportionately distributed turkey to bacon to cheddar and mayo. Either it was a luck of the draw or the kitchen is just that damn good . Possibly, the most impeccably prepared sandwich I've had all year. Why only 4 stars? Well, the wait time was a little long. I stopped in last week with my girlfriends. It was a bigger place than i was expecting. The line was long but moved fairly quickly. I got a cookie butter iced latte with an extra shot and it was just okay. I didn't really like i could taste the cookie butter that much? but maybe my drink was just took strong. The vibes were okay, but some of the workers seemed miserable to be there and that always is a kind a knock down for me. They have a pretty decent menu. The Coffee Shop is just that, a cute little coffee shop located in Agritopia offering speciality beverages, classic cafe offerings, pastries including gluten free and an ample line up of various flavors of Whoopie pies and quite a few brunch offerings. I've been a handful of times, as I love the entire community of shops, but only for coffee so I cannot speak for their other offerings at this time. They were bumpin this fine Sunday morning, with a majority of their tables filled with families and groups, they offer a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating. We weren't hanging out, but definitely be prepared for a potential wait, as it's a hot spot. My mom got one of their seasonal specials, a peaches and cream latte. My husband and I shared their other special, an iced pistachio latte ( with half syrup) Both were good, sweet as to be expected, neither I would rush back to order. They use Monin syrup, but I would love to see some homemade syrups, at least for their seasonal or special beverages. Even with a line and constant guests, they got the drinks out quickly and were staffed well! I definitely would like to try some of their pastries or brunch next time I'm in the area! Had breakfast with some friends here and let me just say, it's a nice place to enjoy your meal on their patio. When I arrived there was a line but not a long wait. Which I loved it being my first time here. I ordered the egg and chorizo burrito and it was so big I could only enjoy half of it. But my coffee was AMAZING! The place is called "the Coffee Shop" and they screwed up my coffee order! ‍ I ordered a "small cappuccino with 2% milk" and ended up with a cup with one shot of espresso in it. I let the barista know when I picked up my order and she graciously made me a cappuccino instead. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was pretty underwhelming. I also ordered a Harvest Bowl, which is a breakfast bowl with kale and quinoa. It was under seasoned (there really was no seasoning at all). I wish I had taken pictures of the food because every single time we've gone, we've loved everything but apparently I devour it too quickly to snap some pics. This is one of our favorite brunch spots in the area. They have such a large selection of baked goods and a full breakfast menu as well as a large variety of coffee and drinks. When I say everything we've tried is good, I mean every.single.item. We came here for Father's Day, husbands birthday, when we had family in town. It's a favorite for everyone and we love splurging on trying different items. Only downfall is that this place does get PACKED which says a lot about it. We often go 15-20 min before opening and there is already a pretty long line. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating although we've had to wait for seats a number of times because it does get so busy. The food is quick for how busy it gets though and we've never had to wait too long. I'd just recommend going early!! The service is also great. We had stopped in right before walking the agritopia neighborhood to see all the Christmas lights. I'm so glad we went because my coffee was wonderful and the staff was pleasant which is always such a HUGE perk for me. My husbands cold s'mores latte was just okay. And my son's hot chocolate was kinda watered down. But because my coffee was so good and the service i gave them five stars. My and my family came here as a casual day out. My mom was returning and it was my first time. The spot is super cute and full of greenery. On cooler days it would be beautiful to sit outside as there is lots of shade too. The shop itself isn't huge but it's a cozy size. The menu is pretty big though with lots of things to try. This time around we did not try food and came for a coffee and pastry. I personally tried a peppermint white mocha coffee. It was pretty good, the peppermint was very subtle if you don't like it overly done. It's almost just an aftertaste. The coffee itself tastes more like a light roast and not too strong. I also personally tried the Oreo whoppie pie. It was pretty good. The Oreo taste itself isn't too apparent and it has a strong cream cheesy taste. I did like it, however I lowered by one star because I did find a hair in my whoopie pie. I also lowered a star because there was a fly flying around the pastry bin and landing on some stuff. I didn't notice it till returning to change out my pie. The staff was very friendly with the issue and replaced my treat immediately. They were also very apologetic which was nice. I still ate some of the new treat and enjoyed my time. Overall I would love to return here for a coffee. I don't know that I would try another treat just because it was unsanitary this time around. read more

This pumpin' spot in Agritopia is giving Aliso Viejo, CA vibes in the most positive way. Everyone's in activewear, a bike group is eating breaky together, and other clusters of happy community members are meeting over some thoughtful, clean food. The cashier was attentive and caring, giving us more time to comb through the menu without rushing us. However, she got my sandwich order wrong. I had kindly asked for the tuna panini instead of the tuna sandwich. The wonderful waitress took my plate back to the kitchen and panini-pressed the sandwich--lettuce and all. It didn't taste great, but I appreciated the gesture. The rest of my table enjoyed their food, and I was very happy with my Scotch Kiss Latte. I could taste all the flavors--Monin Butterscotch Syrup, Torani White Chocolate Sauce, espresso, and milk. It's definitely a repeat menu item for me from now on! read more

I've been three times in the last month and each time I've had a great experience. Staff are always friendly, helpful and polite. There's usually enough seats to go around despite it being busy. I had their hot matcha latte and it's sooo creamy! Doesn't taste grainy or have a strange taste. It's my new fav! My kids love their bakery offerings. They've tried scones, cupcakes and coffee cakes. So disappointed two days ago. I usually love to come here and the food and service are usually so good. My breakfast came out and there was a hair in my bacon. I took it back to the window and the nice girl took it back. Within 1 minute my plate was back at my seat. I thanked her and went to take a bite of my bacon. I found the same hair only on the bottom bacon instead of the top. So they just flipped my bacon over and gave me the same plate. I took it back again. Same girl seemed annoyed that I was returning it. It took a bit longer this time to come out and my food was nice and hot. I was super happy to get new hairless food. What a cute spot! Was visiting some friends from out of town and decided to head here. We were next door grabbing breakfast, but they only had your basic black coffee and I was craving an iced latte as I usually do. My friend who frequents this spot since it's in her neighborhood said I should go online and order it ahead and we could just walk over to grab it. So that's what we did! Took all my friends' orders and it was that simple. Placed the order online and then in about ten minutes we walked over. I'm glad we placed the order online because this place was POPPIN! The line was out the door wrapped around the building, and every table was taken and people were waiting for their orders. We had to wait a little bit because it was so busy, but they did such a great job at making sure we got all our coffees and even asked if we wanted a drink carrier, too, which was so nice. I of course had to give them a cash tip because they really were working hard. The coffee was delightful and I really enjoyed it! Definitely better than just the black coffee I was going to get at the other breakfast spot. Love that it's right around the corner. Also, not too far away is a really cute farmish area and you can grab coffee and walk around there, too! Obsessed with this area.
