I checked out this local coffee shop recently and was seriously impressed. It has such a laid-back, welcoming vibe--perfect whether you're just stopping in for a quick drink or hanging out for a bit. One of my favorite things is the outdoor, dog-friendly patio, which is always a huge plus. You can really tell Tawnee, the owner, has poured her heart and soul into the place. There's a lot of care in both the atmosphere and the drinks, and it shows. The coffee was top-notch--smooth, flavorful, and made just right. They've got a great selection too, including the hard-to-find white bean my husband loves. And the pastries? So good. My cinnamon roll didn't stand a chance. Fun and sporadic energy coffee shop located in Gilbert. The Nook Cafe & Bakery is definitely a coffee shop that you should check out. The owner is present, tending the register and making drinks. She is extremely friendly and creates such a fun and exciting vibe. The shop atmosphere is somehow relaxing and energetic at the same time. It gives a fun 90's and early 2000's experience. I haven't seen anything like this shop before, it is unique! I got one of the speciality drinks. A 20 Oz hot Yvonne with oatmilk. The owner talked about how she made her drinks without dark roast so that she can better mix the flavors...and her method works! My drink was unique and different, it was supposed to taste like an almond croissant and it did! The flavor wasn't overbearing and it was a super balanced drink with a great consistency. Calling all my coffee lovers so me and my wife took a trip out to the Nook coffee and bakery and I must say I had one of the best ice latte ever and the pastries were off the chain. The vibe was 1980s a little Oingo Boingo and blockbuster mood. I had a chance to meet the owner and me and my wife thought we knew so much about coffee and she gave us a life lesson, which is so awesome. I really mean this. Sincerely, even if we would have to move 40 miles away. We would still come and visit the experience. The vibe reminds you of Eugene, Oregon in Washington/humble County. Delicious lattes and super fun nostalgic aesthetic! I love a good coffee shop with a unique vibe. This spot is like stepping back into my childhood which was so fun. They have a ton of space inside and a patio. They have events and play 90's cartoons and movies! There have a bunch of VHSs and books! My husband got a caramel latte and I got an iced maple bar latte which actually tasted like a maple bar donut! Staff was incredibly nice and explained the spot to us. Also they have chalk for the patio which my 2 year old absolutely had a blast with. I don't get out to Gilbert a ton but this is definitely a spot worth making the trek out there for!! read more

First, I'm all about a vibe. And a 90's vibe! Yes, please! I walked in and was immediately greeted by all three workers. My son immediately found comfort in the bean bag chairs, I was surprised he didn't take his shoes off! There was so much to see and look at, I wished I had more time to really look into every thing. I was surprised by the price for an iced americano, but #shoplocal . In fact the prices weren't listed anywhere I could see, but again, I'm all about supporting local businesses. The maple latte was absolutely delicious, and the owner, Tawnee, is always an amazing person to chat with.

This place has it all! It's adorable, welcoming but not super noisy ( you can have a conversation or study). The coffee was SO good ( owner is super knowledgeable ) and the carrot cake cinnamon roll was one of the best I've ever had! I did hear her telling other customers that she only uses whole milk or oatmilk due to the way they interact with coffee ( like I said, she knows her stuff) so if you can't have either of those be ready to try something else. My husband brought my kids and me here as a surprise coffee date and we thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate loaf, the Yvonne coffee (hot with oat milk), and a peach and mango smoothie. My kids loved the games and the smoothie and had so much fun with the Magic Eight Ball. We had some questions about the coffee and smoothie and the staff were so great in answering all our questions.
