    berry cobbler almond milk latte
    Bella A.

I drove 45 minutes out of my way just so I could have their coffee again! They have the most fun and unique and delicious drinks. I walked in right before closing and they were really kind to still help me! The berry cobbler latte is a must try! Even with almond milk it is so tasty and unique, amazing flavors! Each location is so adorable and cute inside too and everyone working there is so nice. The only thing I didn't like about this location is the parking was pretty difficult because it is in a busy area.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere! Great coffee and breakfast burritos, friendly staff!

I've been to other locations but this was my second time at the Gilbert location. I think the owners are doing much better with staffing because the line wasn't wrapped around the building like it normally is and I was able to order + get a coffee in about 20 mins or so which is definitely much shorter than usual when it comes to their other locations. For the most part every single drink I have gotten here has been nothing short of amazing. If you don't like the drink they are always so helpful and willing to remake something else for you. My favorite is the berry cobbler- never in a million years did I think blueberry and coffee would go well together but it's such a perfect combo! (Even good with matcha too!) This location probably has the most seating out of all their locations- it's always so sweet to visit! The back area is perfect if you are needing to take some work calls or looking for a quiet space! There is a big public parking lot right around the corner!

We came here this past Saturday very early in the morning. We ordered the Island time with espresso which can also be ordered with matcha. The coffee shop is really pretty and clean. They have ample space for customers and I think would be a good place to study. The biggest con for me is that they do not have alternative milk. I tried to drink the 2% but unfortunately just cannot do it. I am just surprised that a new coffee shop does not offer this so we will just avoid this place unfortunately. Service was good and quick. Nothing remarkable.

Such a cute coffee shop! The berry cobbler matcha is very good! Located in downtown Gilbert. It does get busy, but there's outdoor seating available. Been here a few times already and it's been consistently good! Always have heard great things about this coffee shop so was happy that they now have a location in Gilbert! Service was good! They were helpful with questions and recommendations!

It's a great cofee shop with an very relaxed atmosphere. There's plenty of space both indoors and outdoors and they were fairly quick at fulfilling the order. *Onederful Earl Grey Latte 4/5 *Berry Cobbler Matcha 5/5

Light Heart Coffee is a really cute shop with a great atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. I asked for a recommendation for a matcha drink, and the barista suggested the Berry Cobbler matcha, which she said is their most popular--and it was definitely delicious. The drink was sweet, flavorful, and honestly really pretty. That said, I wasn't asked what size I wanted, so I'm assuming this was the smaller size, and for the price, it felt a bit on the expensive side. While everything seems pricey everywhere these days, the cost combined with the size is what knocked this down to four stars for me. Overall, it's still a great experience and a fun treat--especially if you love unique matcha flavors. I'd definitely come back, just hoping for a little more value for the price next time.

    Spring Leap

Spring Leap is one of Light Heart's speciality coffees this season. The presentation was very pretty with latte art, poppyseeds, and a dried lemon. I wasn't sure what lemon poppyseed would taste like in a coffee syrup, and I'm not sure if I know even after trying it. The flavor of their homemade syrup leans towards lemon rind than lemon flesh. It was almost a bit bitter. The espresso was smooth with 2% milk. I would consider coming back but getting a different flavor.

Blueberry cobbler match and banana matcha

Located in downtown Gilbert, this coffee shop offers coffee, matcha, ice tea and even a breakfast Sando or burrito. We ordered the blueberry cobbler matcha and banana matcha. Starting with the banana matcha, the sweetness was on point but honestly couldn't taste the matcha. The flavor of the matcha was overpowered by the milk and banana. The same goes for the blueberry matcha, a bit too overpowering. Although I couldn't taste the matcha, the drink overall was still good. We also ordered the breakfast burrito and Sando, both were on point. No complaints, would definitely get it again! I look forward to returning and trying out their coffee.

I'm a huge fan of the two locations in Scottsdale, so I had to check out the grand opening of the new Gilbert location. Got there early and turns out my friend and I were first in line to be the first ever customers! Once they open the doors, I ordered an apple pop tart and the black cherry cobbler specialty coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious. The interior was on brand to their other locations. all gorgeous dark wood. I love the back seating area as it provided gorgeous, lighting and a homey feel. The decor for sale is a nice touch! The only thing that caught my eye was a lack outlets. I would love to have a spot to work for a bit, but maybe that's a strategic move for it being in a downtown location!

So excited to try this place! The line was already long when I arrived around 11am, but it moved quickly -- and it got even longer behind me. The aesthetic is totally my style: earthy, minimal, and really calming. They also have a few small seating areas in the back. I ordered the Matcha Berry Cobbler and my husband got the Log Cabin Coffee, both half sweet. My matcha was really good -- bright green, high-quality, and not overly sweet. His coffee was great too. Overall, we were happy with our drinks and would definitely come back!

Seasonal Nisu Latte - vanilla, raspberry & cardamom
    Carissa P.

I've been to the Shea location and fell in love with the berry cobbler matcha, but it's a bit of a drive for me, so I was stoked to see Light Heart open a Gilbert location! I went on a Sunday morning, about 40 minutes after opening and the line was out the door! About 25 people or so ahead of me. Luckily it moves pretty quick, the weather was gorgeous, and their music was top choice so I didn't mind the wait. I went with their seasonal Nisu latte: vanilla, raspberry and cardamom. It was perfectly sweet, fruity, and balanced. I was hoping to snag a pastry while I was there but they were all sold out by the time I got there. Oh well, just motivation to go right at open next time! There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and this is the perfect spot for a study sesh, to catch up with the girls or just a fun morning coffee date.

I was so excited to try this place after hearing of the one in Scottsdale, but I rarely make it out there. When I arrived, it was very chaotic, very busy. I almost decided to go to a different coffee shop in the area. I met a friend here and managed to find a table in the back room. It was very loud because it was so busy and because they have a speaker back there that is blaring music. The coffee was just mediocre The service was meh, It's a really cute place. I am in school at the moment, and I found myself saying I would not come here to work on schoolwork. The place is really cute and you have the option to buy locally made mugs which I thought was cool, but the overall vibe was Very unorganized and chaotic. I didn't even hear them call my name and my coffee was done.

Everything about it just feels right -- the vibe, the people, and especially the food. You can tell they actually care. The staff is super welcoming and generous, not in a forced way, just genuinely good energy from the second you walk in. Food-wise, they don't miss. The honeycomb with cream cheese inside is insane -- sweet, rich, and something you don't really see anywhere else. The Dubai chocolate latte is a must-try too, super smooth and indulgent without being over the top. The beef samosas are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the chocolate pistachio croissant is easily one of the best pastries I've had in a while. Honestly, every time I go I end up trying something new and it's always solid. You can tell they put real thought into everything they serve. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I came across Moka & Co while searching for the best Dubai-style coffee in the area, and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their Dubai iced coffee is really good--while it didn't quite top the one I had in New York, it definitely ranks as my second favorite. The only downside is the price. A 16 oz drink was $10, which feels a bit steep for a medium-sized coffee. Overall, though, it's a great option if you're craving a Dubai-style iced coffee without leaving Arizona.

In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. We didn't add any items to justify the upcharge but when I brought it to the cashiers attention she was unsure how to adjust the price or offer a refund unless we wanted loose change. SMH. If a Customer pays by Apple pay, they should be refunded or credited in the same way. Seems like a space intended for Co-working or digital nomad types as there were about 4 people with laptops and headphones sipping on drinks. Because of the ultra cool vibe, I'll definitely give them another chance to change my mind if I'm nearby but I think for what we ordered it wasn't a great price to value.

I stopped in around 6:00 pm to get some work done before a cycling class. The first thing the cashier told me was that the espresso machines were already shut down and that only hot tea was available. I asked what time the shop closed, and he said 7:00 pm. Since I still had time, I decided to stay and purchased tea. After sitting down, I was told--due to construction--that they would be "locking up soon." I assumed this still meant 7:00 pm. I received my tea around 6:10 pm, and by 6:20 pm I was told they would be locking the doors and turning off the lights. At that point, it felt passive-aggressive and misleading. If I had been told upfront that the shop was closing early, I would not have ordered anything. I specifically asked what time you were closing, and that information was not communicated clearly until after I had already paid. Additionally, if the shop is supposedly open until 7:00 pm, it's confusing why the espresso machines were already turned off at 6:00 pm. As for the tea -- 2/10. I didn't even finish it. I'm sure the coffee may be good, but this is the first time I've been to a coffee shop where the espresso machine was shut down an hour before closing. Lastly, as a study space, it's very limited: only two tables with about eight chairs total. There are outlets, but not nearly enough to support people working. Overall, the lack of clear communication and the rushed, uncomfortable atmosphere made this a disappointing experience.
