My friend recommended me to try out this charming and newly opened cafe, and it is a cute little comfy spot. I order tiramisu latte and it's absolutely perfect--well balanced but strong enough that you still feel the caffeine. The service is excellent!-- simple and friendly service. Small menu options but they are all look great. If you are the Matcha Mania and/or looking for new spot to try--come and check it out this spot, you will love it.

Such a cute new place for matcha and more!

Stumbled across this place, and we realized they were doing a soft opening. We had a few questions re drink suggestions, and they were very nice at explaining differences in our choices. It's such a cute vibe, and we genuinely loved our drinks! Very excited to go back and try more!

25% and 50% blueberry matcha

So excited to see a matcha cafe close to the east valley! Normally, we'd have to travel to Chandler or Tempe for decent matcha. I picked up a my husband and I some blueberry matcha. I got the sugar adjusted to 25% and my husband's to 50%. Next time, we're moving up to 50 and 100. The matcha itself is legit and balanced with earthy flavors. I love how they offer soy milk! Service was fast! I was able to get my drinks within 5 minutes. I'll be back to try their strawberry matcha and ube latte! Parking could be busy during the week due to being next to a Thai restaurant and a clinic.

Ube matcha, Ube latte and matcha croffle

Convenient location near the freeway. Super friendly and welcoming, cute layout inside to relax and enjoy your visit. This is a win win for me because they serve Ube and I love having it in my latte or matcha. They have great selection, not overwhelming with choices. I tried their matcha croffle, next time I'll be back for their tiramisu!

This coffee and matcha shop is still in its soft opening phase, so I'm keeping that in mind with this review. Service was a bit slow, even with only two people ahead of us. It also seemed like most drinks were pre-made- the matcha tasted more like a concentrate or syrup rather than freshly whisked. I did see them squeeze the matcha out of a bottle. I originally found this spot on TikTok and was really excited to try it. It seems like they're still working on perfecting their recipes. The Mori Matcha didn't really taste like matcha and was overwhelmed by foam, while the tiramisu matcha was slightly better but still lacked a strong matcha flavor. On the plus side, everything was 20% off during the soft opening. I'm definitely open to giving this place another try in a couple of months once they've had time to refine things. It is a cute shop though. Parking was easy.

Peach matcha

I got a peach matcha and a banh mi. The peach matcha was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and very earthy. They use a real peach purée. They only have one banh mi option but it was pretty good. Not super meat heavy but still good. And for only $8 a sandwich, that's a steal! The staff was very kind.

matcha cream crown, strawberry yogurt

Fits my taste profile well. The matcha cream crown has a noticeable matcha flavor but still maintained nice creaminess & sweetness. Sadly I came around closing time so wasn't able to try their bahn mi but I plan on it next time! Drinks came out in a decent time.

My son & I love matcha! So when we saw on TikTok this shop was right down street from us we had to try! Theres many selections to choose from. Even if u don't want matcha! The shop is nice & clean. My son tried strawberry matcha & I tried blueberry also trying out matchamisu cake! OMG THAT CAKE SOOO DELICIOUS!!!

Mori matcha & Earl Grey matcha

New matcha spot in Gilbert, had to check them out. They are currently having their soft opening with their grand opening coming up soon! I tried their Mori matcha and early grey matcha. Both drinks are not too sweet nor milky. Balanced, smooth and earthy, this new cafe is the spot if you're looking for good matcha. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Banh mi, Vietnamese coffee and tiramisu.

Banh Mi sandwich with Vietnamese coffee combination. Great way to start the day! Also, purchased the tiramisu. All the items were great! The employees were very friendly and the cafe was very clean and inviting. I'll be supporting this new cafe and hope others will give it a try.

The whole environment was cozy and the interior was really appealing. I enjoyed drinking my mori matcha and trying the choco croffle! The Service was good and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. I did come back and try the Mori coffee which was really good not too sweet or bitter tasting.

Blueberry Yogurt, Mori Matcha, and Strawberry Matcha

I am always eager to try new matcha places in Arizona, and Mori Cafe is definitely one i'll be coming back to! I have come twice now for their soft opening. During my first visit, I tried their earl grey matcha and banh mi. Earl grey is typically my go-to, and their earl grey tea was very flavorful paired with the matcha! The sweetness of their drinks is on the less sweet side, which is perfect for me. You can also adjust the sweetness level to 50% or no sugar if you prefer. Their banh mi is traditional Vietnamese banh mi and is a great snack paired with their drinks. The second visit, I tried their strawberry matcha and Mori matcha. My SO tried their blueberry yogurt drink. They came out relatively quickly considering the line ahead of us and only one barista working. All 3 were delicious, and I really liked that the strawberry syrup in the matcha and blueberry syrup in the yogurt drink were freshly made (you can taste the fruit bits)! Other than the drinks, the cafe space is very cute and has a few spots for people to sit. It is a bit on the small side, so large groups of people probably won't be able to sit together inside. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu in the future and what more will come from them for their grand opening!

Matcha latte with oat milk

I'm always excited when a new coffee shop opens, and Mori Cafe did not disappoint. The space is super cute, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the menu really stands out. What surprised me most is how innovative their drinks are. I tried the Cococano (a really refreshing mix with coconut water and espresso), and my wife had the matcha latte with oat milks both were excellent. You can tell they put real thought into creating something different from the usual coffee lineup. We loved it so much that we've already been back three times this week. They also had a bánh mì on the menu, and I honestly expected it to be an afterthought but DAMN! it was so, so good. I was genuinely impressed by how well it was done. I can't praise this place enough. I always root for young businesses that take the time to build a menu that actually excites the community, and Mori Cafe is doing exactly that. Gilbert has no shortage of coffee shops, but this one feels like a breath of fresh air. Wishing you guys all the success you've definitely earned a loyal customer

The first thing the cashier told me was that the espresso machines were already shut down and that only hot tea was available. I asked what time the shop closed, and he said 7:00 pm. Since I still had time, I decided to stay and purchased tea. After sitting down, I was told--due to construction--that they would be "locking up soon." I assumed this still meant 7:00 pm. I received my tea around 6:10 pm, and by 6:20 pm I was told they would be locking the doors and turning off the lights. At that point, it felt passive-aggressive and misleading. If I had been told upfront that the shop was closing early, I would not have ordered anything. I specifically asked what time you were closing, and that information was not communicated clearly until after I had already paid. Additionally, if the shop is supposedly open until 7:00 pm, it's confusing why the espresso machines were already turned off at 6:00 pm. As for the tea -- 2/10. I didn't even finish it. I'm sure the coffee may be good, but this is the first time I've been to a coffee shop where the espresso machine was shut down an hour before closing. Lastly, as a study space, it's very limited: only two tables with about eight chairs total. There are outlets, but not nearly enough to support people working. Overall, the lack of clear communication and the rushed, uncomfortable atmosphere made this a disappointing experience.

The space is extremely comfortable -- cozy seating, welcoming energy, and an outdoor area that's truly remarkable. It's the kind of place where you can meet a friend, get some work done, or simply unwind with a great cup of coffee. Let's talk about the coffee -- because it's extremely well done. You can genuinely taste the flavor in every sip. I'm a nitro, cold brew girl -- always black -- and they nail it every time. Smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. That said, I'm a total sucker for their seasonal selections. Somehow, they always make it hard not to switch things up. The seasonal flavors are thoughtfully crafted and never overpowering -- just the right touch to make your drink feel special. The pastries? Incredible. Fresh, delicious, and the perfect pairing to any drink. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or a full coffee moment, you won't be disappointed. Another major plus: the prices are reasonable, and the line moves fast. Even when it's busy, the service is efficient without ever feeling rushed. The customer service is genuinely great -- everyone is extremely nice, welcoming, and happy to help. It's such a refreshing change to experience a place where the vibe is consistently excellent. They also offer their merch, coffee to go, and other home items, which makes it easy to take a little piece of the experience with you. Overall, this coffee shop delivers on every level -- flavor, atmosphere, service, and value. It's cozy, inviting, and full of good energy. Definitely a must-try spot that you'll find yourself coming back to again and again.

The seasonal kettle corn coffee is my absolute favorite--it's such a fun and unique flavor and something I look forward to every year. It's definitely a must-try if it's available. They offer complimentary wifi, a shelf of mission-branded merchandise and a menu of herbal teas and unique coffee drinks. Also a small assortment of pastry items. In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. We didn't add any items to justify the upcharge but when I brought it to the cashiers attention she was unsure how to adjust the price or offer a refund unless we wanted loose change. SMH. If a Customer pays by Apple pay, they should be refunded or credited in the same way. Seems like a space intended for Co-working or digital nomad types as there were about 4 people with laptops and headphones sipping on drinks. Because of the ultra cool vibe, I'll definitely give them another chance to change my mind if I'm nearby but I think for what we ordered it wasn't a great price to value.
