I love this hot & new cafe so matcha! I was very excited to see a matcha focused cafe pop up near me. I visited on their soft opening week and have been a handful of times since. I've tried different items: Mori matcha, strawberry matcha, early grey matcha, matcha cream cloud, Mori coffee, strawberry matcha croffle, and matcha banana bread. Everything has been delicious. The matcha drinks are smooth and balanced and the pastries are delightful. You can adjust the sweetness level and ice of the drinks, and 50% sweetness is perfect for me. They use premium matcha from Nishio, Japan and you can really taste the quality. The prices are reasonable and reflect the quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The space is clean, cozy, and welcoming. There's limited seating inside and out, so this is not the place to stay and work. I will be back for my next matcha craving!
This is such a cute cafe with delicious drink options! The staff were friendly and prices are very reasonable for craft drinks in the area. By the time we arrived on a Saturday at 2pm, they were already sold out of their banh mi sandwiches. The staff also mentioned that one of their cloud drinks were also discontinued. So, I ended up ordering a latte with oat milk and pandan cold foam and my husband ordered their ube latte. The coffee in the lattes was delicious but the pandan flavor in my drink was very faint. If you are deciding between the two, go for the ube option. The croffle was soft and served warm. I would definitely come back here and hopefully get a chance to try their banh mi!
I didn't know this was located between the medical offices so it was a little hard to get parking, but lots of space on side of building. I tried the banana matcha and it tasted like a banana laffy taffy so if you do or don't like those be aware of that. I tried the taro matcha it was so yummy, it's not under the normal matcha menu so you kind of have to hunt for it. I tried the tiramisu and it was not sweet so if you're looking for a sweet pastry maybe opt for a different area. Service was friendly and the wait time was average. There's not a ton of seating but if it's not busy that's ok! Comfy seats to sit and talk.

I was informed they only been opened for a month. This place is so cute and GOOD! I would say this would be a perfect spot to catch up with a friend or even go on a lil solo coffee date. The Ube cream on my latte was to die for. It was so ube and I loveeee me some Ube. Once I mixed my drink it was the perfect combination of bitter and sweet. The tiramisu latte was so creamy. Oh my god don't get me started on the bahn mi. The bread was soooo crispy at first I tasted more pepper but then I went in for a second bite I was so wrong. It was the perfect amount and combination of meat, vegetables, and bread. I haven't had a good bahn mi in Gilbert since well... EVER. The pickled radish being perfectly crunchy with oh so juicy meat. My taste buds were dancing Price wise was so affordable. They have a $10.99 for a bahn mi and any coffee. SO WORTH IT!!!!! The service was so nice and fast. There was only one person working at the time but boy can she move! Thank you so much for such delicious drinks AND SOME DANG GOOD BAHN MI
So excited to have a matcha cafe closer to me, and this one doesn't miss! We tried the Mori matcha and Earl Grey Matcha, and both did not disappoint. The Mori matcha was a lot more creamy, which is how I prefer my matcha to be, whereas the Earl Grey is more floral but has a nice Earl Grey flavor! I'm so happy to have this new matcha cafe only 5 minutes from my house. Definitely won't be my last time here.
My friend recommended me to try out this charming and newly opened cafe, and it is a cute little comfy spot. I order tiramisu latte and it's absolutely perfect--well balanced but strong enough that you still feel the caffeine. The service is excellent!-- simple and friendly service. Small menu options but they are all look great. If you are the Matcha Mania and/or looking for new spot to try--come and check it out this spot, you will love it.
Stumbled across this place, and we realized they were doing a soft opening. We had a few questions re drink suggestions, and they were very nice at explaining differences in our choices. It's such a cute vibe, and we genuinely loved our drinks! Very excited to go back and try more!
We tried the mori matcha and the ube mori latte. The drinks were pretty good. The cafe is relatively small with not a lot of seating. I was hoping for a new cafe to study at but it would feel cramped if I stayed there so it's definitely a place to run in and run out or if you're just going to chat with a friend but not for working or studying. The drinks were both really good. I've also tried their banh mi a different time and it was also pretty good compared to some other places. They also have a deal if you buy a banh mi and a drink. The workers are always friendly whenever I go there and they are quick to make the drinks.
So excited to see a matcha cafe close to the east valley! Normally, we'd have to travel to Chandler or Tempe for decent matcha. I picked up a my husband and I some blueberry matcha. I got the sugar adjusted to 25% and my husband's to 50%. Next time, we're moving up to 50 and 100. The matcha itself is legit and balanced with earthy flavors. I love how they offer soy milk! Service was fast! I was able to get my drinks within 5 minutes. I'll be back to try their strawberry matcha and ube latte! Parking could be busy during the week due to being next to a Thai restaurant and a clinic.
Finally a good matcha/Viet coffee place in the east valley and closer to my house. Yay! No more driving all the way to Chandler! I've been here a few times already so I can say it's legit. I came during the soft opening week when everything was 20%, the Grand opening when everything was 50% and just last week. I was greeted each time I walked in and you have the option to order with one of the girls or the screen up front. Parking is easy and out front. There is a lil outside patio with a table and chairs. The inside is not huge with maybe 4 small tables with chairs inside so every table was filled during the grand opening. But that was expected so on a regular day I'm sure it's fine. I like the clean aesthetics of the place. It's cozy and cute. I love seeing pictures of what I am eating and drinking so I appreciate the big picture menu on their wall. I am not the biggest coffee drinker but I had to try the ube latte bc I love ube. It was good but stroooong, especially since it's Viet coffee. Lols The same with my friend's Mori coffee, strong but good. So it's great if you are a coffee drinker and need that caffeine high. Lols The girl who helped me was so nice to make it sweeter for me. The owner Sue told me in the future I can request for it to be on the sweeter side with less coffee so I'll do that. Sue was really nice too and answered any questions I had :) I tried the mango and strawberry matchas on my next visits, all good! I also tried the matchamisu and that was delicious. I recommend trying that. She only makes around 15 total of those and the tiramisus a day so once she's out, she's out. I also tried the banh mi and that was yum. Sadly my croffle was hard but maybe it was just an off day. I will def be back to try one of the yogurt or tea drinks and a caramel latte!
Convenient location near the freeway. Super friendly and welcoming, cute layout inside to relax and enjoy your visit. This is a win win for me because they serve Ube and I love having it in my latte or matcha. They have great selection, not overwhelming with choices. It also seemed like most drinks were pre-made- the matcha tasted more like a concentrate or syrup rather than freshly whisked. I did see them squeeze the matcha out of a bottle. I originally found this spot on TikTok and was really excited to try it. It seems like they're still working on perfecting their recipes. The Mori Matcha didn't really taste like matcha and was overwhelmed by foam, while the tiramisu matcha was slightly better but still lacked a strong matcha flavor. On the plus side, everything was 20% off during the soft opening. I'm definitely open to giving this place another try in a couple of months once they've had time to refine things. It is a cute shop though. Parking was easy.

Wonderful!!! At first glance we couldn't tell if it was open but when we walk in it was a pleasant surprise. Me and my friend ordered the Mango refresher drink and it was delicious. there was plenty of seats and a great energy. When me and my friend were reaching the end of the drink the kind employees offered a FREE refill!!! I was over the charts happy and overall it was a great experience. read more

From the second we walked in, the staff treated us like family. The hospitality here is unmatched! The food and drinks are a absolute 10/10: Drinks: The Vietnamese Coffee is bold and perfect, and the Matcha is incredibly high-quality and smooth. Banh Mi: Super fresh ingredients and the perfect crisp bread. The Secret Weapon: You have to try their homemade spicy sauce, it is absolute fire . Amazing people and amazing flavors. We drive by this spot often and decided to stop by after school and so glad we did. We each picked a drink and the girls added croffles, which they loved as much as their peach and strawberry drinks. I went with the bánh mì and coffee combo which was amazing. The bread was nice and crunchy and I am so happy to have a spot for this nearby. This will be an after school spot for sure. I know Agritopia is across the street but don't sleep on this spot... it's very good! read more

I saw this place on IG and had the urge to try it, but I missed the grand opening because I was working and it's pretty far from my house. I finally went this morning around 9am and ordered a combo bánh mì with coffee, a matcha tiramisu, a classic tiramisu, and two croffles. Everything was honestly so tasty--no complaints at all. When I looked at the receipt, I was shocked. In this economy, you really can't beat those prices. I'll definitely be coming back to try more. The place itself is super cute--lots of plant-inspired decor, very clean, neat, and overall just a really nice vibe. read more

Imma be so honest, it's been 3 days since I've been here and my god, I'm still daydreaming about their tirimisu latte. SO CREAMY. Also, I was amazed by how purple the ube latte was! This place deserves more hype. Most of the time, I go with matcha because I don't like how lattes usually taste, but I decided I'd give it a go because HELLO?! $10.99 for their latte and banh mi combo?! That's literally the price of a number 1 combo at Inn n Out. Of course, I had to try it. The banh mi bread was so crunchy, I felt like I was a foodie ASMR YouTuber. My only wish was that there was a little more filling inside the sandwich, but overall, can't complain. It's really hard to find prices like this nowadays with this type of quality in food in drinks. Best part? I don't have to go all the way to Mesa to get good matcha and coffee. Hopefully they put up some flags or other signs outside to get more attention because the building adjacent to them blocks their store sign on the way to the 202. DEFINITELY will be coming back to this chill, hole-in-the-wall spot. read more

I am always eager to try new matcha places in Arizona, and Mori Cafe is definitely one i'll be coming back to! I have come twice now for their soft opening. During my first visit, I tried their earl grey matcha and banh mi. Earl grey is typically my go-to, and their earl grey tea was very flavorful paired with the matcha! The sweetness of their drinks is on the less sweet side, which is perfect for me. You can also adjust the sweetness level to 50% or no sugar if you prefer. Their banh mi is traditional Vietnamese banh mi and is a great snack paired with their drinks. The second visit, I tried their strawberry matcha and Mori matcha. My SO tried their blueberry yogurt drink. They came out relatively quickly considering the line ahead of us and only one barista working. All 3 were delicious, and I really liked that the strawberry syrup in the matcha and blueberry syrup in the yogurt drink were freshly made (you can taste the fruit bits)! Other than the drinks, the cafe space is very cute and has a few spots for people to sit. It is a bit on the small side, so large groups of people probably won't be able to sit together inside. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu in the future and what more will come from them for their grand opening! read more

I got a peach matcha and a banh mi. The peach matcha was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and very earthy. They use a real peach purée. They only have one banh mi option but it was pretty good. Not super meat heavy but still good. And for only $8 a sandwich, that's a steal! The staff was very kind. read more

THIS MATCHA is EXACTLY what a matcha should be, i freaking LOVE this place, no other place knows how to make a matcha like THESE people do, i genuinely can't get enough, i let the worker know today how i felt, & she was so NICE & gave me a free scoop of house made matcha ice cream in my strawberry matcha! the food i have had so far has been SOOOOO good too, i tried the waffle my first visit & the classic mori matcha the first 2x i went & i RECOMMEND! i went and got a strawberry matcha today, and it's sooooo perfectly good, so fresh, the perfect green, & an perfect size!!!! i love this place so much!!!!! all the customers in there were also showering them with compliments, people LOVE this hidden spot! read more

I'm always excited when a new coffee shop opens, and Mori Cafe did not disappoint. The space is super cute, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the menu really stands out. What surprised me most is how innovative their drinks are. I tried the Cococano (a really refreshing mix with coconut water and espresso), and my wife had the matcha latte with oat milks both were excellent. You can tell they put real thought into creating something different from the usual coffee lineup.We loved it so much that we've already been back three times this week. They also had a bánh mì on the menu, and I honestly expected it to be an afterthought but DAMN! it was so, so good. I was genuinely impressed by how well it was done. I can't praise this place enough. I always root for young businesses that take the time to build a menu that actually excites the community, and Mori Cafe is doing exactly that. We wanted to come try a new coffee place and this place is pretty solid. I assumed this is Vietnamese owned because of the menu and i really enjoyed their Banh Mi. Their drinks are decent except kind of expensive for their sizing. The servers were nice and drinks came fairly quick. Cute shop overall and looks like a fun place to hangout/chat with friends. read more
