    Greek Style Omelet
    Vanessa B.

It's been a minute since I have eaten at Kneaders. I was in a hurry and wanted something healthier that a fast food options. I decided to go with the Greek style omelet and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't recall the omelets I have had in the past to be this fluffy and large. The omelet came with spinach and mushrooms and the feta cheese, mush to my surprise wasn't overpowering. Very tastefully done I might add. ‍ Thanks Kneaders!

    Classic Turkey Half Sandwich
    Bridget H.

Today was my first time coming to a Kneaders location. I came to quick grab some coffee and do some work on my computer. Plenty of tables to eat and work (in my case) at. The staff were really friendly. The line went quick. I bought a plain iced coffee that had free refills which was a bonus. The house blend coffee was smooth and not bitter. Really lovely coffee. I ordered the half classic turkey sandwhich. This was just mediocre. The sourdough bread was good but the turkey was SO salty and mushy. The turkey tasted like it came from a can. Would not order the sandwich again, but would definitely buy a loaf of bread. They have a lot of different pastries here if you're into that. It is a nice casual spot if you're looking for a quick bite. Plenty of parking available. And they also have a drive thru.

Fresh fruit tart and Lemon tart. Delish!

Updated review: my first visit at this location I ordered a fruit tart and a seasonal tart with almonds on top it was so good! I came back later that week or earlier the next week to try a sandwich combo and everything seemed like it had been left out for hours. Sandwich was so soggy and the lettuce in the salad had nasty pieces in it I had to pick out I didn't even end up eating it. Very disappointing! I did tell them the quality of the food wasn't great

Sandwich full of mayonnaise, no cucumber to be found

This was a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I had come to enjoy kneaders, bakery for the very good bread, and thus the good sandwiches that went along with it (usually). Overtime, however, things appear to have gone worse and worse. Aside from closing the location nearest to us, The service has gone a bit downhill and that the food is never what we ask for. Today was perhaps the final straw. Ordered a sandwich with no mayo, add cucumber. Instead, got a sandwich with double mayo, no cucumber. Size of the sandwich appears to the trunk as well. Photos demonstrate what was ordered, and what was received. You can see for yourself. There are no cucumbers, and definitely has mayo oozing out of it everywhere.

My SWEET TOOTH IS TOOTHIN', YELPies! Sooo, I'm already a fan of the French toast here, so why not try the bakery items! Let me say.. my TOOTHIN' is complete! My wife and I went nuts.. Pretzel Toffee Cookies, Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Chocolate Eclairs, Key Lime Tart and Cinnamon Roll is everything we walked out with. If the rest of the items are anything like the cookies.. GAME ON! So soft and gooey and delicious. The customer service was great considering I was the only one in the place . The staff was cleaning and prepping for what looked like a large order. The dining area was clean and smelled of freshly baked goods! Again, I was the only person in the place so I got all the YELPINGLY FANTASTIC aromas. I even learned about their baking classes you can sign up for.. best believe... IM Signing Up! Kneaders for the win on baked goods today!

Dead bug on strawberries that come with the Chunky Cinnamon French Toast

A dead bug was laying on the strawberries that come with the French Toast. I was looking forward to the meal, the locations seem to be better and cared for in Utah.

A client gave me a gift card to Kneaders for Christmas so we decided to get breakfast there on New Year's day. They were not to busy as we got there around 11am but the experience was not a good one. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, hot tea and hot coffee, also requested a side of fruit for each of us and a brownie. Total was almost $30 dollars. The tea was literally a cup of water and a tea bag that she plopped on the table and walked away before I could ask if they had any honey. They did not apparently offer honey ( at a breakfast restaurant) go figure. The breakfast croissants were sad flat little pancakes and the eggs and sausage were luke warm so I suspect that they had been sitting out for a while. They also only brought out 1 fruit cup and upon my asking she informed me that she only charged me for 1 - $5.00 for a cup with one cut up strawberry and a small pile of blueberries. When I said that was crazy she told me I was being rude. Which I feel like I probably was at that point but we were very disappointed by both the attitude of the staff and the quality of the meal. Oh and let's not forget the peppermint brownie that we paid almost $4 for that was maybe 1 1/2" x. 2". All in all it was an unpleasant experience and I am just glad most of it was covered by the gift card.

We had an amazing time at the focaccia making class. Along with making our own focaccia, we got a half sandwich, drink and cookie. A great time was had by all.

Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

Ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich. This is what you should expect when ordering a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant! Awful!

I've been to this location several times over the years and they are always nice but today they were exceptional! I went with my five year old and we entertained the workers as he tried to figure out which treat he wanted most. Eliza was the person who helped us today and she was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us. She overheard me telling my son we were going to split the smoothie, so she brought out an extra cup and two straws for us. She also came with napkins, extra plates and my sons chosen dessert, banana pudding (it was delicious by the way!). I was so impressed by Eliza's kindness and extra effort and my son was so excited to have his own cup! THANK YOU, ELIZA for making our day! (PS, Kneader Management, please give Eliza a raise!)

    Turkey Cranberry Sandwich

This sandwich represents $10.59 of my purchase today. The sandwich has less than 2oz (if that) of turkey, and maybe a tablespoon of cranberry sauce, one slice of cheese. The side salad it came with was 1/2 wilted inedible. Extremely overpriced for what I received. Turkey Cranberry Sandwich

    Having a late lunch

OMG!! Yummy. My boyfriend has an appointment at the cancer center near here so we had some time to kill. He was hungry so we stopped for a late lunch and he was told to eat something small we came in and ordered broccoli cheese soup it came with bread. The broccoli cheese soup is made fresh and had nice size pieces of broccoli that was cooked through all the way it was very delicious. The sourdough bread was nice and airy it was so good that I ate my boyfriend's bread as well this is perfect for cancer patients to eat I'm glad that it's near MD Anderson. The staff was kind and very helpful I want to thank everyone at Kneaders in Gilbert for their great hospitality I highly recommend this location something the Mesa location could learn from. We'll definitely be back

They actually wrapped this up and sent it out the door as a turkey sandwich...

I gave this place's sandwich a try on two separate occasions now and the amount of turkey that they've put on the sandwiches each time has been just sad.

She provided some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. She greeted us with a warm smile as soon as we sat down and consistently checked on us to see if we needed anything. She was attentive, friendly, and truly amazing. Both my sisters and I agreed that we'll be back, and we hope we get Lori again. Once we were in AZ, my husband took a closer look -- and lo and behold! There was one about a couple of blocks away! Why I couldn't find it, I don't know, but I'm glad my husband found it. As for ambiance, they have a section in the back where they sell items such as baskets and cooking utensils. We were there for a late morning breakfast. The place is popular, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. It turned out the hostess was also our server. Going in, we both knew what we wanted, which was the "2 classic benedicts", which come with a side of sliced potatoes. To drink, I had a lemonade while my husband had coffee. We both enjoyed the benedicts. The eggs were perfectly poached. We would return here.

My review went up on 5/21 and by the very next day, 5/22, a regional manager named Jayson responded publicly as the business owner, and left his email. I emailed him that same day, and after I followed up on 5/27 he wrote back, copied the store manager, and asked me to send my phone number and a good time so we could talk it through directly. I did exactly that, same day. That was 5/27. It is now 6/9 and I have not heard a word back. No email, no call, no text. The original incident was 5/10, so we are at 30 days now. And this was not a stray hair or something that fell in once. The fragments looked like they came off equipment, which means whatever produced them is presumably still in use, still capable of doing it again to the next person. That is the part that made the delay frustrating. It is not about my one bowl, it is about whether the thing that caused it ever got looked at. I'm not writing this to pile on. I'll give them this much, they move fast in public. The reply was up within a day, right here where everyone can see it. But the private follow-up, the part nobody else is watching, has gone going on three weeks of silence after they were the ones who asked for my number. Fast when it's visible and quiet when it's not tells you where the attention really goes. If you're reading this and trying to decide, take a little time with the reviews here, the detailed ones and the thin ones, the recent and the older, and decide for yourselves. That's all any of us can really do. For the record, their Açaí bowls when they don't contain bits of industrial machinery are delicious but we'll go to Swami's when we are in Oceanside and will try to find something in the Valley.

Michael and Callen Meola read that missing chapter, sighed deeply, and just built the place themselves. Villa Meola is a coffee shop that feels less like a transaction and more like being waved inside someone's actual home, because that is essentially what it is. They named the spot after the nickname for their own house, and you can tell. The kids drink menu (yes, a real one, with a "Kiddy Winnie the Pooh" that my child now demands by name) means small humans get treated like guests instead of obstacles. Big humans get traditional Italian espresso pulled on a manual lever Astoria machine, which sounds like a flex because it is, there are roughly seven of these in the entire state and the result is a crema so silky it should be illegal before 10am. A few things to know going in: * Order the Cannoli or the Caprese latte. They make their syrups and milks in house and you can taste it. * Get gelato from Gelato Cimmino next door, same room. Mario Cimmino is the real deal, and the affogato situation here is the most efficient delivery system for joy in the East Valley. * Focaccia pizza is sneakily excellent. Treat it as lunch, not a snack. * Bring the kids. They will not be the loudest sound in the room and nobody will side-eye you. This is the entire point of the place. The Meolas built the coffee shop they could not find. Lucky for the rest of Gilbert, they left the door open
