Their drinks are delicious. I enjoyed the Mango Coconut Smoothie and the Ube Coconut Smoothie. The Mango Coconut Smoothie tasted sweet and thick and creamy with a lot of mango and coconut flavor. The Ube Coconut Smoothie was also sweet and thick and creamy. It also had a lot of good ube flavor. The Mango Coconut Smoothie: Blended mango smoothie mixed with coconut milk and konjac pearls Ube Coconut Smoothie Milk and Ube blended together with a Coconut Cream with mango and lychee jelly
Such a great place to stop in and pick up a drink and/or pastry. I grabbed a couple taro rolls and my husband grabbed some chocolate buns with some macadamia nut cookies. They have seasonal stuff too like pumpkin flavors right now. There weren't a lot of people in the shop so we perused and grabbed what we wanted before ringing out. If it wasn't a weeknight we would've absolutely gotten a caffeinated drink... alas it was only Thursday. I love the vibe here and as soon as you walk in the smell just hits you - it's probably what heaven smells like.
This was my first visit to 85°C Bakery Cafe in Chandler, and I was genuinely impressed. Walking in for the first time, it was so much fun seeing the huge variety of baked goods, breads, pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and drinks they had to offer. There were so many options that it honestly took me a while to decide what I wanted! I really liked the self-serve bakery concept because it lets you browse at your own pace and pick out whatever catches your eye. They have a great mix of both sweet and savory items, along with an extensive drink menu featuring both hot and cold beverages, so there's truly something for everyone no matter what you're craving. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful. The pastries were light and delicious, and the drinks paired perfectly with the food. You can definitely tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve. The only thing I'd mention is that they don't accept American Express. It wasn't an issue for me since I had another payment method, but it's something to keep in mind before visiting. Overall, this was a fantastic first experience, and I can definitely see why so many people recommend 85°C Bakery Cafe. Between the incredible selection, fresh-tasting food, delicious drinks, and unique bakery experience, I'll definitely be back to try even more of their menu.
I had an incredible experience here the other morning and just felt the need to give a shout out to the awesome cashier!! They had a promo going for a "free" mug with a $25 purchase. The mug was really cool and AZ themed, so I had to get it. I picked out some of the cake slices as well as some baked goods! I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee drink and added sea salt and brown sugar. It was delicious but definitely on the sweeter side. I think I would skip the brown sugar next time. When I arrived, they were out of the Berry Tales on the floor which are my favorite. I asked if they had any made in the back and it turns out they'd recently made a fresh batch and were letting them cool. Assunta got me a couple of those and then helped ring up my order. She was very very nice and gave me an extra slice of cake. When I mentioned they were for a birthday, she also gave me some candles and birthday chocolates to put on top. I really appreciated this and can't thank her enough for going the extra mile to provide such awesome service! I love 85, Especially this location in Chandler. Definitely check it out sometime.
I loved 85c when I visited the one in Orange County but was slightly disappointed by this location: slow to make your drink and not as much selection of pastries. Located right next to 99 ranch and other Asian stores, 85c has Asian pastries, cookies, breads and drinks. We enjoyed a few baos with cream filling, a slice of coffee cake and the black milk tea. I usually don't get chocolatey things at Asian bakeries because they rarely "do" chocolate well, and it was the same here: the chocolate chip cookie and black forest cake were only okay and just not rich enough with a cocoa taste. Sign up for their rewards program to get discounts and promotions, even though you have to buy quite a bit to get anything and the points expire. Compared to non-Asian bakeries, everything is a much more reasonable price overall. A few tables are available, though I can imagine it being crowded. Still would love to get an 85c closer to home!
I've been here a few times now, and everything has been consistently great. The pastries are always fresh and taste delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. One of my favorites is the Vietnamese iced coffee with sea salt foam--it's incredibly smooth, flavorful, and the sea salt foam adds the perfect touch. Definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for fresh pastries and a great coffee!
We love this location so much. It's bigger than other locations. More nicer and cleaner. The staff is always so friendly. And all the cakes here are really delicious. We're here almost every week or every other week, highly recommend everyone who loves dessert.
Love this place!! The Vietnamese iced coffee with sweet cream foam is 10/10. The price was about $6 which is cheaper than a coffee of this size anywhere else. Their pastries were also really good. I got there once shortly after opening and they were still putting out pastries so I would recommend waiting a little bit before going in.
This was my second visit in about two months to this place, as it offers an alternative to a traditional coffee shop meeting spot, and it's easily accessible for people in the north and southeast valley to do its proximity to the 101 freeway. They offer a wide variety of Boba style drinks, along with a bunch of sweet and savory bakery items. Everything I've tried so far has been really good there and they are open to modifications to certain drinks. All of the bakes are prepackaged so you pick what you want and go to the cashier. The drinks are made fresh to order and only take a few minutes even when they're very busy. They're only a few small tables to sit at and it's kind of a loud environment. Overall, however, it's a nice place to meet or pick up a quick snack.
This location had everything I wanted. Everything was yummy. The young cashier was nice. She let me know there was another location in Arizona (since I am not from around the area). Plenty of parking. Located at a strip mall with a lot of Asian dining and stores. Will return back.
Lovely self-serve Tawainese bakery that offers an assortment of sweet and savory breads as well as boba! You grab a tray and choose your delectable treats- I went with the cheese hotdog and the cheese garlic bread. They offer seasonal boba drinks- I tried the mango lemon tea and it was delicious and refreshing. The line can get a bit long, but it moves very quickly and they have a kiosk where you can skip the line of order drinks!
Usually love this business but this time between being crazy busy, out of most everything and the cashier having a bit of an attitude it was not a pleasant experience at all. The handful of food items I did get were amazing and delicious. But again, it was later in the day and Xmas Eve so they were out of a lot of items. The line as shown by my picture was super long and the cashier was not in a good mood. Would I recommend this business, yes, absolutely. Just not around a major holiday. Prices an extremely reasonable and food is delicious.
I loveee 85° - one of my favorite bakeries and I am so happy it exists in AZ. One of my all times faves is the spinach danish and the hot dog bread. I always get those two and everything else is based off of what I am craving and what looks good. All of the pastries we got this time were super delicious. I especially liked the mochi egg tarts. It was a good chewy consistency and was not overly sweet. A lot of their pastries is perfectly balanced - not too sweet. You grab a tray and tongs to pick up the pastries. All their pastries are already pre-wrapped. Their drinks are also really good too. I like their lychee green milk tea. This bakery is also in the perfect location because it is next to the 99 ranch market and all of the good asian restaurants. Parking is super easy and service is quick.
Assunta is spectacular! I walked in for the 1st time for a "honey do" because I'm nearby, I was equipped with pictures & names to order, Assunta greeted me the moment I walked in with a smile while she was stocking the trays. I proceeded to look confused Assunta kindly offered to assist me. Assunta grabbed what I was looking for & helped me located something for myself, what great service. It's a cute little bakery with about 6 tables inside, some outside seating as well n cool inside, clean & soothing. I was so excited to finally try 85°C Bakery in Chandler because it was one of my favorite bakeries when I lived in California. I was so happy to see one here! They have such a big selection, and everything looked so good. I love their pastries because they're not overly sweet. They're honestly just right. My fiancé got the tuna sandwich, and I tried some of it. We had it warmed up and it was SO good! I'll definitely be coming back, especially for the pastries and cakes. Their cakes are some of my favorites.The customer service was great too. read more

I love coming in here and just getting hit with good smells. This bakery always has such unique and good tasting bakery items! One of my favorite items is the taro bun. A lot of the items are under $5 so this place is pretty affordable. They have some bottled up coffee and teas that you can purchase as well. I stopped by today for their August special ($.85 sea salt coffee). Be sure to download their app as they always have different specials going on and you can accumulate points! The parking lot can be a little crazy as it's in the same plaza as 99 ranch and many other stores. The inside is always clean and there are always seats available if you want to eat your pastries right away. read more

My wife and I LOOOOOVE your store. We are loyal customers of your Chandler location and came to finish trying your moon cakes today. What we are NOT a fan of, is the SERIOUS issue the store has emptying the trash! This was today. However, we see this happen every time we visit the store. First off I like it. They have a bunch of drink options and the items for eating are cool and different especially for in the go. We selected two of the baked items one with bacon one without. They were bother very tasty and the price wasn't bad either: next time I'm definitely grabbing a coffee because the drinks seem like the thing to get. Definitely going back when in Chandler read more

It was my first time using the 85°C app. If you download and join, you get a free large Sea Salt Coffee or Tea! The cashier was very kind and walked me through the app, showing me how to check my rewards and redeem them. The manager was also super nice and patiently answered all my questions about the mooncake offerings. The store itself was very clean and had a variety of great sweet and savory options. We'll definitely be back! Tip: You can only use one coupon at a time. They had a BOGO 50% off deal on mooncakes, but it didn't apply since I used my free drink reward. If you want to stack offers, consider paying separately. read more

The Chandler Ranch Plaza is a hot spot for Asian-centric businesses and eateries, and 85°C Bakery is definitely one of my favorite go-to's for a quick sweet or savory treat. The variety here is great -- there's always something tempting in those pastry cases. I popped in on my lunch break and grabbed: *Ham & Cheese Sandwich - Ham, egg, and Swiss cheese in a crispy puff pastry. Not bad, but there was an unexpected sauce that threw me off a bit. Probably wouldn't get it again. *White Chocolate Strawberry - Soft, strawberry-flavored bread filled with white chocolate and strawberry custard cream. Bread was fluffy, custard was decent. *Mango Strawberry Smoothie - My absolute favorite here! Strawberry purée and mango syrup blended with ice cream, topped with crushed strawberries. Perfectly sweet, fruity, and refreshing -- especially on a 111° day. While I do enjoy this location, I never sit inside. The seating area is small and could use more frequent cleaning -- tables and floors aren't always well maintained. That said, for grab-and-go treats, 85°C delivers. read more

85°C Bakery Café in Mesa has a very inviting atmosphere and was bustling with customers when we visited. Despite being busy, the customer service was excellent. It appeared that one employee was training another, and I wanted to recognize the effort and patience that went into the training process. It was great to see teamwork and support among the staff. As a nice surprise, we even received a free mug! We picked up a variety of pastries and are excited to try them all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for families, friends, or even a casual date. read more

Delicious pastries! I got many to try and they were very good though the standouts were the choco bun and the strawberry salt bread. I got a sea salt caramel coffee which was very good and my sister got a sea salt matcha latte which was good but incredibly sweet. Overall I love that the pastries are so cheap so it's very easy to pick a bunch and try! read more

Finally got to check this spot out and it didn't disappoint. There is such a huge variety of pastries along the checkout line, and you can grab a basket or tray to load it up with everything you want to try out as you wait to checkout. They also have a refrigerated case and cakes/desserts available, as well as Boba teas/smoothies/drinks. I got the mango custard roll, the chocolate croissant, the guava pastry, and the ham & cheese roll for the hubby. I've never had this type of dough before and it was light and airy, and the center was packed with custard (for the mango custard roll). The custard was delicious and not too sweet. The chocolate croissant was flaky & perfectly baked, and the guava pastry hit the spot reminding me of some of my favorite Colombian pastries. The hubby said the ham and cheese pastry is what a hot pocket aspires to be and he thoroughly enjoyed it! Will definitely have to keep coming back to try out more items. Freshly baked goods?! Count me in! At 85°, you can help yourself to a variety of both savory and sweet treats that will have you coming back for more. Upon entry, you'll make your way down the line picking & choosing everything your heart desires. Even packs of their delicious breads & cookies. My personal favorite is the milk pudding bread, which is an incredibly buttery moist brioche bread, stuffed with a custard Bavarian like cream. At a $1.85 each, it just can't be beat! A few savory options include the Hawaiian chicken bread & bacon/cheese bread, which I have not had, but I've heard are delicious! Make your way over to the pastry case and you'll see a selection of gourmet goodies such as tiramisu, red velvet cake, cheesecake and much more. Don't forget to order a drink as you checkout- smoothies, coffees & boba are offered. Fairly large space with limited tables & great service as always. You can find me in here anytime! read more

Life is short...and so am I. ~jon h Because life is too short, decided to take a CARB plunge here at 85° Bakery. Also, I vowed to stop eating virtual calories from the insane photos posted at 85°C Bakery. I asked Miss Joyce W. "what do they sell here?" and she said "ovens jon...all pre-set to 85°... WHOLLY TOLEDO SCALES! WEIGH NICE! Turns out, it's a full blown bakery with delicious drinks and amazing incredible edibles! Choices abound and you will find something marvelous with which to have a Carb affair. My tummy is already popping forward so now I found magical treats to go sideways. What a wonderful well-rounded decision I've made. So get off that couch potato, and drive to 85° Bakery! Don't run as it may cause dizziness losing weight. Enjoy! I did ;) read more

Ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Vietnamese Coffee. The Vietnamese coffee comes with a kick so if you love a good strong drink, it is definitely for you. The matcha has a good flavor and wasn't over powered by the strawberry. read more

This was my first time here and I was very impressed the pastry selections. Friendly staff, good vibe and delicious pastries. I had the strawberry drink, it was delicious ! I also had the chocolate muffin, and other two that I don't remember the names. Met very nice people here and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this place and will comeback soon. read more
This is a great little Asian bakery! I have been here several times and tried a variety of things. There are many options of sweet and savory baked goods. The breads are always soft and delicious. Some of my favorites are the jalapeño cream cheese, the bacon and cheese, the chocolate croissant, and the coconut twist. They have a good selection of cakes and I've tried a couple. The cakes are good but again this is an Asian bakery so they are different than what we would consider traditional. They serve a number of different drinks, but I haven't tried any of them. The lines can get pretty long so I try to hit it shortly after it opens in the morning. The service is quick though, if there is a line. I have stopped by later in the day and the selection had definitely dwindled so I recommend going early. It's definitely worth stopping by and trying! read more
$40 can't go wrong! This mango cake was refreshing not insanely sweet but that perfect type of fluff and flavor. It was split between 9 people and could have fed 10 people with decent slices. Recommended by a friend. I'd purchase again for any celebration. read more

Where are the prices listed for the cakes? I tried to go stand in line and it was taking for ever. I just would like to know the price range for a cake for 20 people.
