Such a cute place with colorful pink decor, delicious pastries, and many other desserts. The coffee is great too. They have a large selection of coffee and desserts. Fantastic service too!
I took months off from coming here due to my last bad experience. I decided to give it another try, but unfortunately I won't be back. I waited about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged or served me. I ordered two savory empanadas and asked if they could be heated up. The employee took them to the back, which I thought was a little unusual, but when they brought them back they still weren't warm. I also asked for their green sauce (the cilantro mayo sauce they're known for), and was told it wasn't made yet. That sauce is honestly what takes the empanadas to another level, so hearing it wasn't available was disappointing. I also ordered a slice of carrot cake. In the past I would've rated it a 10/10, but this time it felt pretty mid. Between the wait, the empanadas not being heated properly and the sauce not being available, the experience just wasn't the same as it used to be.
We were craving Tres Leches cake and saw that they specialize in it! The staff helped us pick the original but said the strawberry tres leches cake (with the same cream and strawberry toppings) should be our next try as that is good too. We will be coming back for the strawberry tres leches cake. Ambiance was a great vibe with pink decor over the place! :) We thought the cake was moist and had a lovely creamy + "coldness" to an overall bite. It's close to our usual go-to spot so I would say this discovery was a success for us!
Suck nice staff, I got there right before closing and was not expecting what I walked into, not only is it a bakery café but also they sell vendor items next door at a cute little boutique called Secret Oasis Shop that you energy thru the Cafe. Love it! I picked up some sweets as i had some friends coming over to sit by the fire and drink cocoa and these went fabulously with it. Everyone enjoyed their treat. They are conveniently located off Southern across from MCC. Plenty of parking in their parking lot.
The pink vibes and floral aesthetics is what drew me to checking Cielito out. I wanted to try their peach strawberry tea but they were out of strawberry so I was able to get mango instead. Tasted really good! The worker at the register is also the one making the drinks so it does take some time to get your drinks. A couple other workers greeted me but it seemed like only 1 was working ringing up customers and making drinks. The treats look really good and I was excited to try the puerquitos but these were really dry and hard. I wasnt a fan. I would not recommend. I love getting them from food city. The macrons were cutely decorated for halloween with hocus pocus theme but it tasted awful. It was very disappointing. There was also a fly that kept pestering my friend and I. I would maybe come back to try a different beverage but most likely not, I would skip on food.

The dreamiest local cafe and bakery. It's always a toss up when a cafe is aesthetically beautiful and has a distinct theme whether or not the food and drinks will be good. But Cielito Rosa is that girl!!!! As a coffee connoisseur, I was impressed by the quality of their lattes, their espresso shots are strong, smooth, full bodied and delicious. Their bakery items are equally delicious, fresh and authentic. This cafe is the best spot for a study/work session or a date. Every barista has been very kind and always does something extra for free to add an extra flourish to my drinks. I'm also obsessed with their heart shaped straws, I never want to toss them, I think I will collect them. Finally, I really admire what they do for the community. They host fabulous events and collaborations with other local vendors. They also offer a plethora of cooking and baking classes and workshops at an affordable price. Cielito Rosa makes Mesa a better city and it wouldn't be the same without them!
1/24/26: not worth a repeat visit. We had lunch in the area but instead of getting dessert there, we wanted to try a new bakery & Cielito was the choice. Parking wasn't a problem, and the place has some very cute decor inside. I was very disappointed they did not have more beverage options for non-coffee drinkers. They had a few energy drinks but I was planning to take a nap afterwards so didn't want that buzz. LOL! My sister ordered the strawberry matcha, said it was too syrupy and the matcha was too powdery. We arrived around 3 pm and the self-serve items were pretty bare, though now I see they close at 6 pm. Perhaps the selection would have been wider had we arrived earlier in the day -- and perhaps the sweets we did purchase would have been fresher as well. We picked up only three items: alfajores, dulce de leche pastry, and some kind of Danish-looking item. The alfajores broke apart too easily into small crumbs, the dulce de leche was a bit dry, and the Danish thing was not overly sweet. Neither of the items curbed my sugar craving. It was a bummer.
The Atmosphere was very amazing and welcoming. Their customer service was great as well. Super helpful didn't make us feel rushed and made us feel comfortable. The pastries and drinks were amazing. Definitely coming back.
We came by early afternoon and bought two churros, a sweet empanada, a concha, a 24oz matcha tea, and a 16oz horchata. The pastries were just downright horrible. The drinks were good though. The interior decoration was great. The music was Mexican club music; so not the usual relaxing music you'd find in a cafe. Overall, our bill came out to $20.27. I'd stay away from their bakery items.

Wow! What a lovely place with friendly service! The shop is aesthetically pleasing with deserts well displayed. What we got: Banana cake roll: Great! Moist, with whipped frosting that did not have the fake banana taste, but more of a slightly lemony tang, which tasted more like perfect banana. Not over ripe, but just getting soft. Pineapple cake roll: Subtle & very pleasing flavor. Loved it STAR of the show was the Red Velvet Cinnamon roll. Now, we came in here late, so the pastry was not fresh...the actual pastry part could have been less rubbery, but the cream cheese, and chocolate, with red velvet cake sprinkled...all worth while. I want to go there again soon & take a picture of my red velvet crumb mustache!!!! Croissant: Get this at a French bakery instead. Mot flakey, abut mushy in texture. Just tasted like white bread. The pastries are displayed beautifully, and the guided macarons & pan dulce will be up next! This place is dangerously close to me! We felt like $16.00 for these pastries was a really good price.

I got a brownie, alfajores cookie, dulce de leche empanada, banana chocolate chip bread, and a pumpchata latte. The alfajores cookie was great--light and airy so easy to crumble-but great. The banana bread was dry and had a weird aftertaste, the filling for the empanada was almost gone but the crust was beautiful and good. The brownie was good. The drink was ok. It had a floral aftertaste that I found weird since it was a pumpkin horchata drink. They have the cute heart straws and the space is clean. Staff was sweet and quick with making the drink. They also offer a punch card to earn a free drink.

Visiting for a few days we came here for brunch, I got the farmhouse hash and was extremely disappointed. My bacon and potatoes were so burnt. The cold brew was good and we got pumpkin donuts for the table those were delicious. Waitress was super friendly and attentive read more

Girlies, ladies, Mami's, Tias, this little cafe may be it! This little cafe is so cute. The drink was mid, I was so sad they put a lid on my drink. But! The service and taste was totally it. The flavor of the pan was spot on, the concha was definitely a skip for me. It was way dry, the polvorón was so soft and delicious. I did appreciate the kindness of all the staff, the variety of bread and dessert. I loved the fact the cafe is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Pink and clean, the music was very catchy but loud. Went here for the first time, absolutely amazing ambiance and vibe when you first walk in. Very cool and refreshing. I love mexican treats and the food overall was worth the price. The lady at the counter was wonderful and can't wait to come back for more to try! read more

I've wanted to stop by here and finally got the chance. Wow! The inside of this lovely shop is beautiful and everything is eye catching. I'm a huge dessert lover and have tried two desserts so far: the Oreo tres leches and carrot cake. Both of these are super delicious in my opinion. Right now I'm still enjoying the carrot cake and there's something special and different about the frosting but I can't put my finger on it. I can't wait to come back and try some more desserts. cielito rosa is a girly-girl's dream vibe come true for a cute and safe space to yap and enjoy cafecito. Everything was pink, flowery, and clean. service was nice and friendly. I opted for the butterfly latte and at first I was taken aback by the steep price tag but everything is expensive these days so I kind of get it. But darn this was one of the pricier spots I've had and I go to a lot of coffee shops! Either way the latte was delicious and well balanced. All flavors stood out but not overpowering either one and just the right amount of sweetness. there was a nice selection of pastries and goodies ti satisfy both sweet and savory taste buds. We picked a few of eaach and shared and it was a nice selection. Mexican empanada, hand and cheese, and strawberry and cheese danish. I felt like the savory empanadas had good potential with flavor but were SO lacking with filling. It was mostly air and shell. Barely any filling on both. The strawberry danish was better filled and flavorful and it too sweet either. Next time I'll be back for just a latte and sweet treat. read more

Umm so this is the panadería of my dreams. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would Obviously, the decor here is stellar. It's feminine, pink, and flowery. The aesthetic is so carefully thought of at Cielito Rosa that even their conchas are pastel colored and their straws are heart shaped. I love how even down to the tiniest detail, the aesthetic is gorgeously executed I didn't even know this place existed tbh. My bf was at a sandwich shop nearby and when I saw this place from outside, I knew I wanted to check it out. I wish I was hungry at the time to purchase a pan, but I got a latte only so I could at least try something from here Matcha latte -- 9/10. Overall very tasty and satisfying. The smallest cup is rather small and at $8 post-tip for it, it seemed to be more expensive than it was worth considering the size. But there was a cute butterfly garnish on top of the beverage and the straw has heart-shaped, so it was tasty AND charming I don't live in AZ, I live in CA but I will DEFINITELY be back the next time I'm in town :D read more
Made the drive to check this place out. It's promoted as a coffee shop but it definitely is much more like a bakery. They have a lot of pastries and coffee options but not many savory options and none that appeared to be prepared in the moment. The treats are delicious! The coffees were all way too sweet and weren't really anything that couldn't be done at home but the space looked lovely. If I'm in Mesa I might be back to pick up some sweet treats for the drive home. read more

An Instagrammer's/Tiktok-er's dream! Pink, girly, and cute- right down to the heart shaped straws (which are surprisingly durable)! Cielito Rosa offers various pastries from pan, cookies, cakes, y conchas, as well as tea and coffee. On this trip I had the Pan de Muerto ($3.99) and the fall special drink, a small 16oz iced pecan caramel latte, with oat milk ($8.45). My total came to $15.49. The cost of the iced pecan caramel latte was not posted on the flyer. Also not sure how much the charge was for oat milk as it was not listed on the receipt (although I assume it is listed on the coffee menu). OOF. The thing I'm mad about though, is that I liked it and it cost $8.45; at least $1-2 higher than the average coffee shop. I was offered a stamp card for a free coffee after 9 purchases. Similar to Tous le Jours and 85°, you help yourself to the pastries, place them on a tray, and bring them up to be rang. A small inconvenience is that the name of each pastry is not viewable as you select them, as the names are outwards facing. The pan de muerto was okay, if I am being generous- I have had better from Food City... Still interested in returning to try the other pastries! read more
This is such a darling little place! Some coworkers and I met here and I must say it's a gorgeous place! All of the pastries looked absolutely amazing the decorations are gorgeous! I ordered some sort of cookie and I found it to be a little dry, hence the four stars. My strawberry cream cheese croissant though was very good. I also had the strawberry margarita smoothie and I loved it. If you're in the area, I would say definitely give it a try! In fact, I might go back and pick up that carrot cake for my husband because that's his favorite cake. read more
I am a fan of this bakery and will be coming back. They have a self serve pan area and the entire place is decorated for the girlies. The concha I got was soft and had the perfect balance of sweet and bready. I can't wait to try everything. I also tried the horchata which was good and I want to try the other drink. Met some folks here for a cafecito and pastry. It's was my first time, and I loved it!!! As a bonafide girly-girl, the pink and white decor was right up my alley. There are pink flowers on the wall, bright white chairs and tables, and some cherry blossom trees. You grab a tray then serve yourself pastries from the different bins kind of cafeteria style. They have different kinds of tres leches cakes, brownies, savory empanadas, conchas, churro cheesecake, and the list goes on. They also have a selection of coffee and smoothies. I had the Mexican wedding cookies and a strawberry cream cheese Danish with a sugar free vanilla latte. I also tasted someone else's brownie and mushroom empanada. All were SUPER yummy!!!! Even my coffee was better than over had at other places. Oh, and the straws are heart shaped--so cute! This place definitely gets the thumbs up from me, for food and atmosphere! read more

The perfect spot for a mom meetup! Grab your girlfriend and head over to the cutest Mexican coffee shop and bakery in Mesa to sip, cowork, and catch up on all things. The staff were great, the coffee was strong, and they offer a ton of extra sweet treats! I can't fail to mention how cute and aesthetic the shop is and the ambience is definitely designed for people that love a feminine vibe. read more
Really wanted to love Cielito Rosa Bakery & Cafe more. The shop's cute af and totally instagram-worthy, for sure. The vibes are on point, and the drinks we tried were tasty. We grabbed the Butterfly Kisses Latte, which is caramel and lavender (the edible butterfly on top was a nice touch!) and a classic horchata. Both were solid. The pastries were a little hit and miss, though. The pig-shaped gingerbread cookie was good and reminded me of when we used to get these cookies as kids. The macaron tart with strawberries was just okay tho as it was a little soggy from the filling and didn't hold together well because of that. We went midday on a Tuesday, and it was surprisingly busy for a weekday, which probably explains why it took some time to get just two drinks. Plus, the prices were a bit on the higher side for what we got. Cielito Rosa definitely has potential and I'd say it's worth checking out if you're in the area and want some instagramable pics, but overall, it didn't quite live up to the hype. read more
