This is easily one of my favorite First Watch locations primarily because of he servers. I have a couple favorites here that are just consistently top notch. Friendly, fast, and just always a pleasure to have around. With that being said, I love when seasonal items come around like the Tangerine dream - refreshing and healthy. And the entrees are usually pretty good as well. It's like a fun birthday gift in a form of a menu, bi then you have to order and pay for it. First Watch does provide you with a free entree with a purchase of another for your birthday! I just love a lot of these various dishes because it tastes fresh and it's consistently delicious. Some of the ones I tend to repeat are: The Traditional, Elevated Egg Sandwich, Farm-stand breakfast tacos, Lemon Ricotta pancakes, and Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl. It goes on. I thought that Customer service was very attentive, quick, and polite. I like that they have a wide variety of brunch items varying from healthy to decadent, savory to sweet, and they list the calories. The power bowl and the Floridian French toast were great! My son loves waffles and it was his birthday. We went in the morning to get some waffles from first watch. Located near chandler heights (Fulton ranch) it's hard to miss. The place was packed and there was almost 20 min wait. We waited patiently and were seated. The service is quick and their menu very simple unlike other brunch places. Most of the items don't come with sides, everything needs to be ordered separately. We went with avocado toast, kale juice, waffles and fruit bowl The food arrived quick, but I wasn't quite impressed, the avocado toast looked like one that can be quickly made at home, he waffle was just a regular waffle, no topping nothing. The food was just very mediocre and the presentation wise not fancy. Overall a below average experience. read more

Came here for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the power bowl was. It had some of the best quinoa and breakfast sausage with sautéed mushrooms. I've had from a breakfast spot, and the two eggs on top were perfectly over medium. The French toast was good as well and the best part was that they gave warm syrup for us to drizzle over the French toast! This place is very cute inside! Our service was outstanding! Our server was extremely thoughtful quick and kind. She brought togo coffee cups and extra cholula. I got the seasonal prosciutto toast and it was great! Nice sturdy but not hard bread for the toast was able to hold the massive mound of egg prosciutto and fresh parm! This is on our top two list of breakfast locations! It's a pretty large location, but it is often quite busy, especially on weekends! However, it seems you get seated pretty quickly. My husband has the regular bacon and eggs most of the time but he loves their blueberry muffins.!! Eye on the other hand like some eggs, but I always must have the million dollar bacon! If you haven't had it, you have to have it!!! it's like molasses crusted bacon. It's fantastic.! Also love their multigrain bread and homemade jam. Service always great. I appreciated Carrie Berry, Director of Operations, from First Watch contacting me and encouraging me to try another location. I took my grandson and DIL to the First Watch in Queen Creek. The experience was much better than Fulton Ranch. I have been to the Mesa location many times and always had a great experience there. I think the Fulton Ranch experience may have been a bad day for that location and not a common experience. read more

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! I've been to a couple other first watch locations it was my first time at this one and it's by far my favorite so far. The restaurant layout is very open and not crowded at all even though the tables were filled. Our server was great, she was very sweet and attentive. First of all we love First Watch! But this location is our FAVORITE! The atmosphere is so clean and bright! They are always busy but put your name on their list through their app and you will get seated shortly after you arrive! Everyone is ALWAYS smiling! Always friendly! Today our server was Brianna! She had an awesome bounce to her step and a contagious beautiful smile! I ordered an egg white omelette with cheddar and Colby cheese, spinach and onion. A side of fruit, and sourdough toast! The omelette was PHENOMENAL! I didn't need to add seasoning! Perfectly made and just delicious! My partner ordered the trifecta!! Two eggs any style, choice of meat and a choice of waffle or pancakes. He ordered the waffles! He was very satisfied and stated that his food was delicious! The waffle was fluffy and airy, eggs were scrambled the way that he requested "soft" and the turkey sausage was tasty! We also ordered the Million Dollar Bacon which is made to perfection! What happened to customer service ? What happened to a SERVICE actually being a service? Went to this location at 1pm on a Saturday. Got a table in about 5 minutes. And then it went to downhill. We sat there for over 10 min with no service. Not even a 'be right with you'. I would have accepted a middle finger. Anything to acknowledge my existence. Walk to the counter and asked for some service. I got the disgusted resting bitch face look. Was told that the server was probably busy. I suggested we could leave if we were bothering them. Went back to the table. The 'lady' that came to the table couldn't wait to tell us we had only been sitting there for 4 minutes. When I told her she was wrong, she argued with me. Said it was tracked on the register. Ok. That assumes someone presses the button in a timely fashion. Based on the length of time we were ignored, this seems like a crazy expectation. We left. This place is a hot mess. I was paying, they were not paying me. You do not get to ignore a customer and then get upset when you are called out for horrible service. read more

Their servers are terrific, but their food has been going steadily downhill under new management. The coffee has been terrible for weeks and the filter that they need to replace and have been promising for weeks has not been installed. They can't seem to scramble an egg. If you complain that you can still see the egg whites and scrambled eggs. They just add more egg yolks. Now they're serving a heart attack on a plate. read more

The culprit of the morning wax the almost $10.00 Bloody Mary that just tasted awful. Too much Worcestershire sauce. It's like a person that never had one was tasked with making one. How about starting with some Zing Zang and working off that as a base. Spice it up to customer taste preference. Oh and skip the million dollar bacon on the Bloody Mary it was not crispy and was wet and chewy since it was not cooked all the way. Place is kind of trendy. Menu is very extensive and provides some unusual menu items along with other more claaical brunch menus. Staff is very friendly Nd efficient. It was very busy and we waited almost an hour to be seated. Our server was friendly and efficient but obviously had more tables than they could comfortably handle. We waited 25-30 minutes for the food and my breakfast (avocado toast) didn't come with the others. Our server plus several other staff told me it was because I ordered poached eggs, which I thought were fairly standard with avo toast. My plate came about 10 minutes after everyone else and still had no eggs. Again I was told it was because they were poached. After another 10 minutes my eggs came and were raw and cold. I had no choice but to send them back and wait another 15 minutes for a new plate of food. The million dollar bacon add-on was delicious but the rest was definitely sub-par. My server was very apologetic and didn't charge us for my order but c'mon people! Can't make poached eggs at a breakfast restaurant!?! This morning my husband and I entered the restaurant the hostess was busy so we waited to be seated, on her return she stated let me seat the people behind ypu they were here first. The couple behind was NOT ahead of us as we opened the door for them. The hostess said your order will be taken after a neighboring table. The couple that she seated ahead of us that was really behind us came over and said what did you do to piss the hostess off so clearly she felt the need to stir the pot and exhibit unprofessional behavior. The food is delicious and comes out hot and fresh, not to mention, fast! Wow!! The food here was AMAZING. Came here while visiting Gilbert/Scottsdale a week ago and we are still talking about the bread that was served with our hash skillets.
