I went for their standard breakfast, two eggs with bacon and toast and a large black coffee. Pay and get your number, grab a seat and they bring your food to you once done. My first experience at the first watch was absolutely unbelievable. The food was amazing cooked perfection service was outstanding top shelf five star for sure. We have a son with a milk allergy and our server Jonathan went above and beyond to ensure that none of his food and anything that would affect a mini on positive way. When asking for his dry white toast Jonathan went as far as to check on the distributors website to make sure that there was no milk involved in the making of the bread. To a person that is constantly fighting trying to find a good quality place to eat. They can take it for me the first watch will treat them the way they want to be treated and serve them food that they definitely want to eat. And if you tend to stop by asked for Jonathan he'll make sure that you're fully taken care of. Upon asking to speak to the manager she came up with hesitation which is understandable and most situations but I wanted to speak to her to give her praise that her restaurant her serving staff in the cooking staff are absolutely five star quality. Big kudos to first watch located on Elma school and Chandler Heights so if you're looking for a great place to have breakfast or lunch stop bye. read more

Wow... Yelp you definitely failed me on this one! I ordered the Chorizo, Cheese & Chili's omelet with a fruit cup. I had one bite of the toast and their strawberry preserve which was very good. Then I went to have a bite of the omelet and while it tasted good there was something missing. It didn't have any Chorizo in it at all! The waitress didn't say I am sorry, just huffed and said with an attitude do you want it remade. I decided at that point that I wouldn't have it remade and to just say no. I couldn't believe how bad the service was after reading all of these great reviews about it. The manager came over and said "give us another chance" I politely replied with I will pay you what I owe you but after the waitresses attitude there would be no way I want anything else. She gave me a full check and said I can have it remade if you like. I decided at that point I was leaving and not paying, not tipping and wouldn't ever darken the door of the joint again. The food was delicious as always, I have been here at least 20 times and the food is typically very good. I got avocado toast with scrambled eggs, which were cooked perfectly. The bread they use is thick and delicious, I want to buy this for my house! The avocado was fresh and seasoned with sea salt- yum! Our waitress was friendly, we have had her several times before. The only complaints I have are their coffee and restrooms. 1. Coffee is not particularly good, and often comes to the table not too hot. Also, the waitresses don't seem to replenish the coffee or milk on the side which is kind of annoying. For how good the food is, I would expect better coffee. 2. Bathrooms have been pretty nasty the last couple of times I have been in, I'm not sure what's going on with that. Toilet paper all over the floor, and cleaning supplies left out. Overall I will come back because I love the food. Hopefully the bathrooms are cleaner and the coffee service is better. read more

We love breakfast/lunch but don't like to make it....now it's just a short drive away. I had the denver omelette, the portion was sizeable to say the least and I had it accompanied with a grain toast that was a little on the dry side but came to life with a little extra butter. I had freshly squeezed OJ to drink, and the coffee was also fantastic and very hot as I like. The pricing was on the high end for breakfast, but considering how many times I dine out for breakfast it wasnt too great a financial impact for me. First Watch has a wonderful organic look that represents the delicious food they serve. The menu offers unique choices that appeal to any pallet. Try the Ciabatta French Toast with Nutella Drizzle or the Lemon Ricotta Whole Grain Pancakes. Today I tried the Turkey Gravy Biscuits today, which were fantastic. There were plenty of open tables and I was immediately seated for breakfast. Seating was available inside or outside. I chose a booth the first day and a random table the second day. I had a small orange juice the first day and hot herbal tea the second. The small orange juice is quite large, so I cannot even imagine how large the large orange juice is (but I'm guessing it's HUGE!). The hot tea was good, but the plastic teapot was leaking. Otherwise, all good. On both days, I ordered the "Two Eggs Any Style" with scrambled eggs, crispy Applewood bacon, breakfast potatoes, and buttered wheat toast with strawberry jam. The meal was great, and I think I ate everything on my plate both days. The service was great! I was checked on multiple times each day. The best part was that the meal arrived only a short time after I ordered. Though the meal was made to order, it must have been worked on the moment after I ordered it. This happened both days, and it helped me get to my meeting on time (or actually, I arrived early!). The staff always had a smile on their face when talking to me. The service was the only thing better than the food itself. AJ's Restaurant is a local Chandler treasure, a historic restaurant, and has been serving the community for over 100 years. My Ribeye hash was great. The coffee creamer is in a bucket on the table, with half and half, hazelnut and French vanilla creamer to choose from. Coffee is served with a thermos carafe and plentiful. Our server, Dulce, was friendly and efficient...giving us extra time to settle in, review the menus and decide on what we wanted to eat. I decided to go with a lunch choice and ordered the patty melt with a change from Swiss to Jack cheese. Also asked for the fries to be extra crispy and was perfectly happy because they were cooked to perfection! Gotta love those crispy fries :-) Wife had the Eggs Benedict, which we both have had previously and today they were served perfect. They know how to do a poached egg (hard for many places so complements to the chef!!!). Their hollandaise sauce is good, creamy and with the addition of some lemon juice she squeezed on top, it was delicious. Granddaughter had the Cobb Salad and said it was good, fresh, and because she isn't a huge blue cheese fan, she asked for Ranch. Daughter-in-law had the Texan omelet, which she loved and ate every single bite. Our great granddaughter went with the kid's mac and cheese and I think it was the common Kraft Mac & Cheese in the blue box...which is her favorite and she ate about half of it and finished it later at home. I asked for orange juice; they fresh squeeze their juices and I love their O.J.! Overall a great meal and thanks to Dulce for putting up with us! She is amazing!!!
