Stopped by this place after reading the reviews and was a bit disappointed. Ordered the spicy sausage pizza minus peppers. And also a garden salad. I ordered everything to go. Unfortunately the pizza was very dry. The salad was as well. I would have thought the salad would've had dressing on the side and I'm honestly not sure if it was dressed at all or if they forgot to include it with my order. The price point is on the high end, and, as I always do w any service. I included a tip for my entire order. Sadly, I was not even offered any water while I waited. I'm visiting from out of state to view some properties in the Queen Creek area, so I wanted to indulge in local eats w great reviews. Think this one missed the mark for me.

    Farro bowl with tuna

With all of my trips to Gilbert lately, I can't believe I didn't make it to Source sooner... Now that I've been, I'll definitely be back soon and often! I stopped by solo on a Wednesday evening and enjoyed the Farro bowl with tuna. I debated ordering more but this was pretty filling. In the future, I will definitely make sure to order some of their fresh bread and try some other menu items too. As others have shared, this is a casual spot where you order at the counter and then your food is delivered to your table. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and it's comfortable for folks like me dining solo as well as for a date or night out with friends. Food is fresh, and carefully sourced from farmers and artisans and you know that with Chef / Owner Claudio leading the charge, that it's going to be the best of the best in terms of quality! They also serve wine and offer a limited retail shop, from which I will definitely peruse on my next visit.

I've been wanting to try Source since they opened but had a hard time finding something on the menu that is gluten and dairy free. Decided to try the albacore sandwich and chop salad understanding that this meal would not be gluten-free. The homemade bread was not as exciting as I hoped it would be. The bread on the sandwich held its structure and kept the sandwich in one piece which was great. The tuna tasted a little bit vinegary and was a little spicy! (Spice is in the description). I guess I prefer classic creamy tuna? The chop salad had a very generous toppings and was a good portion size but the dressing tasted kind of oniony for my preference. The most enjoyable part of my dining experience at Source was the conversation with Hugo about the olive oil on the shelves in the hallway. I had received this exact bottle of olive oil as a gift from someone in the restaurant industry and I found out that the two are connected! Small world!

Oh my heavens!!! Absolutely delicious! Everything at Source tastes so fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they only use the best local ingredients. We shared the tuna sandwich, and the hummus platter and both were perfection. The tuna is caught and canned fresh out of Seattle, and you can truly taste the difference. Everything is made to order with care. A special shoutout to Jonathon, who was so knowledgeable and such a pleasure to talk to. You can feel the passion for good food and quality ingredients in every bite. We will definitely be back!

First time here, had a ham and cheese sandwich, excellent!!! Small area, which is an absolute plus for me. Smaller places have better service and generally, better quality of food.

What a nice surprise. Located across street from Joe's farm restaurant in Agritopia and pretty much around corner from Buck and Rider, billed as a casual "Mediterranean cuisine" spot. You walk in open concept, order and take a seat outside with a number. Order is quickly delivered by attentive staff. I tried the meatball appetizer and the chopped salad with tinned tuna addition. Paired off with an excellent dry cider. Everything was fresh and very tasty without a lot of heavy dressing on the salad!! I like that. My party also tried a pizza and the red lentil cake sandwich and everyone was gobsmacked how good it all was. The sandwich eatre said "the best I've eevr had!! Plenty of parking in lot just in front. Looks like menu changes frequently ... I like that, you can go back often and try something completely different. Outside patio is covered and thoughtfully appointed with both heaters and misters. No problem sitting out here, and its dog friendly.

Located in the epicenter next to peixoto. There is a spacious parking lot in front. Contrary to someone's review, I didn't have issues finding the front door and the layout. We entered through the door on the right. I wouldn't say it's a huge place with some seating inside but more seating outside on the patio. I've been here twice already, greeted warmly and answered any questions I had. My 6 year old and I love their chopped salad and we are not big salad eaters so that says a lot! Lols It has a good mix of ingredients I like and keeps me full. The first time I had the salad there was fregula in it, which we loved. But oddly the second time we ordered it, it wasn't part of the salad anymore. I also had some of my friend's falafel sandwich and that was delicious too. Everything just tasted fresh. I will def be back to try other items on their menu.

Tbh I never thought I would ever make a review on this place. What was once a good restaurant is now what I think is a terrible place to eat. It seems like the owner is constantly changing all of their food. The food used to taste great but has since become a bland mess. Source used to have fine breads and from what I've tasted.. it now tastes like pizza dough. I used to like their apple tarts until I received this tart (photo attached) Not to mention the prices have changed on top of that. The owner is a jerk and it seems like the workers are miserable there. It's like they lost all their happiness.. The past two times I've gone in he's had almost a whole new set of workers there as well . He has no care for his customers due to comments he has said in front of myself and others.. He seems to care more about himself than anyone else. I genuinely think people should stay away from sources and find a better place to go to. I recommend anywhere but here

I tried Source in January shortly after they opened, but before their grand opening. I just couldn't wait! To my pleasant surprise, their team and their process were on point especially for being so new. Source is an ingredient driven, community centered, counter service restaurant, wine bar, and retail shop located in The Epicenter at Agritopia. They are in a prime spot. Plenty of parking, too. The space is warm and modern. I love how bright and open it is. My friend and I came for lunch and were greeted right away. The team member behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We decided on the following: Hummus Side of bread Chirashi bowl x2 The hummus was very fresh and paired well with their toasted fresh bread. At the time of our visit, Source offered a "Chirashi bowl" on the menu. It came with Koshihikari rice bowl with roasted vegetables, pumpkin seeds, ginger pickled cucumber, nori and togarashi with an option to add seared wild Sea of Cortez shrimp or wild smoked salmon. I added shrimp to mine and my friend decided to go meatless. It was incredi-bowl! Lots of textures and flavors. Very filling. I will be back soon!

    Nice outdoor seating.

This place was a pleasure to visit and dine. We are not wine drinkers so we can only review the food. The Farro bowl with shrimp was healthy, fresh, and delicious. My husband tried the sandwich on the baguette. He loved the flavors with a slight spicy kick, but the bread was too crusty for him. He had to deconstruct the sandwich and mostly eat the inside. The roof of his mouth is sensitive. I loved it. I think the gal who took her order was named Rachel. She was absolutely delightful! When she learned that it was our first visit, she brought us out a couple slices of bread to try the fresh baked bread: sourdough and ciabatta. The sourdough was nice, but did not have a lot of sourdough taste to it. The ciabatta bread was amazing! We walked out with a loaf of that. My husband told Rachel that he loved the sandwich, but the bread was too crusty for him. She said next time, ask for it to be in the ciabatta. He will.

I live walking distance from here and we walked over for a Friday night dinner. It was our first time here and I saw the salmon bowl. I'll admit I didn't really read all the ingredients for it, my mind was just thinking some type of starch and protein. We also ordered a chop salad, burrata starter, and the spicy salame pizza. So, the chopped salad came out first and after we finished that off, then came the 3 other dishes. I would have preferred the starter out first or everything out all at once. There were people who ordered after us and got their food before us. For me the best thing of the night was the chopped salad. I don't have any complaints about it. Would order it again without hesitation. The burrata was not my thing, but my girlfriend enjoyed it. The spicy salame pizza was good, but the ratio of sauce to toppings to crust was not good for me. It was like 1 to 2 bites to get a taste of everything and everything after that was just crust. The toppings were really good, but not enough of it. Really it was more like eating bread than anything else. So the salmon bowl... just think of it as a salad with some salmon protein. I can't be mad because I didn't read the ingredients for the dish, but thought it would have rice or a starch. It was just like eating the chopped salad, but with salmon. But because the chopped salad came out first, I already had my taste of salad, so getting this dish out after we ate the salad was kind of ehh. The ambiance was nice, it wasn't too hot for it being after 6pm and the misters were on. The lighting was good for the outside seating. I would eat here again, but the mood would have to hit me right.

This is a really good place. One of the best lunch places I've tried in the general area. My main gripe is that the prices are very high and that the menu is quite limited. Besides that, I really enjoy Source. We've gotten Source twice. The first time, I had a really good Ham & Cheese Sandwich. Crunchy bread, fresh ingredients served hot. This most recent time, we got the House Pizza (there was a BOGO deal on DoorDash), along with a Romaine Salad & Lemonade. The Pizza was pretty good, it could have used a bit more flavor but it was satisfactory. It didn't leave me feeling super full or bloated which I appreciated. The Romaine Salad was just alright. You can't beat the Lemonade either. I don't think I've had better Lemonade, it's definitely house-made! If Source added a few more menu items and lowered their prices it would get a 5th star from me. However, 4 stars is great in my book.

After ordering a toasted sub at the counter (I got the La Canna - their take on the Italian), I went to the drink station and there's hundreds, maybe thousands of stickers plastered all over the place- on the walls, on drink dispensers, bathroom doors, and more. The drink station has a Pepsi soda fountain, sweet and unsweet tea and several flavors of Kool Aid. The coolest thing inside is the giant mural on the West wall that was custom-made for this location, as it features the nearby San Marcos Resort and Hotel in the background. Pretty neat touch. I sat on the West side of the restaurant where they have large glass windows and natural light pouring in. You can watch people wander downtown Chandler as you dine. The sub was delivered to my table open-faced. The bread is a great blend of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The meats and cheese were a little thin to my liking but they tasted great warmed up. The veggies and the dressing were lightly applied but add just enough flavor to accentuate the sandwich. It's an above-average sub for an above-average price, so you get what you pay for. They have some unique sides (munchies) and desserts as well. I didn't try any of them but they had some unique items like nachos and meatball bowls. I would recommend trying Cheba Hut for anyone who likes a good toasted sandwich. Only positives from my experience!

Well, we gave Cheba Hut another shot last night, and while this was definitely a better experience…read morethan the last one, we are still completely befuddled about how we're supposed to place an order and actually get the food the way we ordered it. My wife ordered the Power Plant, and we paid extra for Extra Spicy Ranch. Again. But apparently the employees have some kind of vendetta against actually putting Extra Spicy Ranch on the sandwich when you order Extra Spicy Ranch. I can just picture someone reading the ticket: "Oh look, the customer has explicitly said they want Extra Spicy Ranch! They even PAID for Extra Spicy Ranch! But because I work here, and I am the gatekeeper of Spicy Ranch, NONE SHALL PASS!" At this point I'm convinced there's a giant slug-like mob boss named Cheeba the Hutt, cousin of Jabba the Hutt, sitting somewhere in the back of Cheba Hut guarding the Spicy Ranch reserves. Apparently selecting it online and paying actual money for it isn't enough to get past Cheeba. Every time we pay for extra, never have we got extra - how do I know? Because the sandwich is dry. I ordered a Build Your Own because Cheba Hut has decided to no longer carry the A-Train, which was my legit GO TO! I'm still salty about that one. I selected mayo, Dijon mustard, and regular mustard on my sandwich, so thankfully I had enough sauce to keep me content. Mine was actually pretty good. Then there was the Rainbow Crispy. What a con-job! I thought I was getting a Fruity Pebbles crispy treat. Oh noooooo. They watered that sucker down with Cap'n Crunch and Crunch Berries too! If I wanted a Crunch Berry bar, I would've ordered a Crunch Berry bar. Hoodwinked! I do want to be fair because this visit WAS better. Pickup went smoothly, the ingredients were fresh, and after our previous awful experience Cheba Hut refunded our entire order. Their customer service afterward was great, and I absolutely give them credit for making things right. I even reached out before this visit because I didn't want anything free. I just wanted to pay for our food, have it prepared the way we ordered it, and hopefully get back to having the positive Cheba Hut experiences we used to have. And that's really where my frustration comes from. Cheba Hut used to be a "Fo Sho!" for us. It was one of those places where you knew what you wanted, knew it was going to be good, and didn't think twice about ordering. Unfortunately, that "Fo Sho!" confidence has now been reduced to more of a, "Meh... I hope they don't mess it up again." So this visit does redeem Cheba Hut somewhat. We're moving back up to 3 stars. The ingredients are fresh, there's still a lot to like, and I KNOW they can make a damn good sandwich. We just need to figure out how to consistently get the sandwich we actually ordered.
