My boyfriend and I decided to stop by Dulce Churro Café after seeing a picture in another Yelp review of a churro with strawberry dipping sauce and Froot Loops on top. It looked so good that we had to try it! I ordered that exact combination, and my boyfriend got the Cookies & Cream churro with Fruity Pebbles. Both were delicious and looked just like the pictures. I also want to give a shout out to Max and Sydney. They were incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. I wasn't sure what toppings or dipping sauce were used in the photo I saw, but Sydney knew exactly what I was talking about right away and helped me order it. Thank you, Sydney! The café itself is pretty spacious, very clean, and wasn't too crowded when we visited, which made it a nice place to relax and enjoy our dessert. Overall, we had a great first experience and will definitely be coming back! read more

Dulce Churro should be on everyone's must try for the BEST CHURRO'S! We went in today and honestly we are shocked that this place isn't completely packed! It's a nice clean environment, the gentleman who helped us found out it was our first time in and he explained everything on the menus let us know we could watch him make everything and that everything is made fresh! Very cute and nice vibe inside! And the churro was delicious!! MUST TRY!! read more

Decided to give this spot another try. I remember trying it last year with some nutella filling and it was too overly sweet for me. Today, we were craving churros and tried their plain el grande churro and funnel churro. It was very good and hit the spot. They make their churros fresh in house and it comes out hot and crispy, soft in the inside. The funnel churro was more crispier, but I think it's because it was thinner. Service was very quick- came out within 10 minutes. There are a bunch of tables inside and outside. For the price, I would say it's definitely worth it. I will be back when I have my next sweet churro craving!! read more

Service was fast. Fresh made churros with plenty of options to choose from. Staff was very kind.

We would give this spot 10 stars if we could. We were visiting from California and was thrilled to see an entire place dedicated to one of our favorite treads. The folks behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. It was awesome to watch our churros being made. The space is clean and well lit. We enjoyed every bite of the best churros we've ever had. read more

I've never seen a Churro shop and I am glad this is the place that introduced me to the concept! My teenager said "these are the best churros we've ever had. " it's not our neighborhood, but if we have a chance to come back, we certainly will and would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for an alternative to a traditional ice cream shop or dessert place. There were several families eating in the small dining room or on the patio. read more

I love ordering party trays of the bite sized churros here for parties and it's always a hit among friends. Great service and yummy churros!

It was so good. The oil was very clean, it tasted fresh, not greasy and didn't have that bitter oily aftertaste that some churros do. Nile was very nice and walked us through the whole menu. Very affordable treat! This would make a perfect family outing after dinner or date night dessert. We will definitely be back. read more

Food: 5/5 I ordered the funnel churro with powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar. My mom ordered a side of strawberry sauce. I did not try the sauce and will be solely reviewing the churro. The churro is fresh and delicious. It was soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. The cinnamon sugar topping is yummy. My only qualm is that they put too much sugar. Service: 5/5 The cashier was patient as my mom and I kept debating what we wanted to order. He even suggested to get a side of strawberry sauce instead of strawberries on top. He wished us a good night as we left. Ambience: 5/5 The shop inside is cute and inviting. Overall, this place is worth a visit. read more

This cafe stayed open on New Year's Eve just for us instead of closing up at around 8 pm. The churros were heavenly delicious. I highly recommend this cafe if you are in town or just a local. Jared was really nice and talked to us for a bit. They also gave us an extra free churro because they accidentally made another one. read more

Got invited to a taco night and was put in charge of dessert...no pressure, right? I wanted to keep it on theme, so Dulce immediately came to mind. I ordered the party tray ($32) and caramel sauce ($7) from their site and picked it up the next day, right on time. It was a total hit and everyone was drooling over how good the churros were! Plus, the guy who helped me (I'm pretty sure he was the owner) was super nice and even told me exactly how to reheat them, which was clutch. I'll definitely be back! read more

Wow, this place was absolutely amazing. I am still dreaming about it 2 days later and cannot wait for our next visit! We happened across it and just had to give it a try and were so glad we did. The inside is so warm and welcoming from the staff to the furniture. The service was great and everything we tried was delicious. One of us had a plain grande churro, yum. Another had a Nutella filled grande churro. And then we also tried the churro fries with lemon and chocolate dips. Amazing. The kids especially loved that you could watch them making them. Found this place on Yelp. Churros are made fresh! Nice crunch on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Loved the churro ice cream sandwich and the Spanish hot chocolate as a dip for the churro straws. The regular hot chocolate was excellent. In a strip mall with plenty of seating. My wife LOVES churros so every time we're in the area we always stop by, best spot in Arizona we've had

Ordered churros for dessert at book club. So fresh, even when reheated. Store is spotless. Owner/manager do accommodating.

I love churros and often crave them. One night, I had a strong hankering for a filled churro and drove the fifteen minutes to Dulce Churro Cafe. I was greeted right away. The space offers plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor. The staff was patient with me as I took some time to decide. They have so many fun options and I wanted them all! After a few minutes of browsing the menu, I ordered two filled churros; one with dulce de leche and the other with Nutella. I also wanted to try the Spanish latte, but unfortunately, they didn't offer a non-dairy milk option at the time of my visit. My warm churros were ready within minutes and I was on my way to enjoy them. The churros had great consistency; had just enough crunch. They were generously filled with dulce de leche and Nutella. Although both were amazing, the dulce de leche was my favorite. Will definitely be back the next time the churro craving hits! read more

My mom, my daughter, and I came here for dessert after lunch and I am so glad we did! First of all, Nyle was so kind and very helpful. He went over the menu with us and recommended the Filled Grande with Dulce De Leche (which is what I got). My mom got a Filled Grande with Bulvarian Cream and my daughter got a plain heart shaped churro! It was Nyle's touch to make it into a heart and it was SO CUTE!!! We also got the Pumpkin Spiced Horchata, which was all so delicious! Everything was so great and thank you Nyle for such a great experience!!! read more

Very fun dessert spot where you can build your own churros! Ironically wedged between a fitness center and wellness bar, they had plenty of parking spaces despite lunch rush. There was only one person manning the front and making churros so expect the wait to be at least 15 minutes. However, they make the churros through a glass room so I was entertained during my wait. Churros came in a variety of styles, ranging from a standard el grande (linear) to Spaniard, donuts, fried, and funnel cake. There were an abundance of adds on, including: filling, glaze, drizzle, topping, dipping sauce and soft serve. Lastly they had a preset Churro bowl or ice cream sandwich for $5.50. Besides churros, they had various lemonades and horchata. *Churro: opted for the funnel cake style for 75 cents more and I was impressed by the amount of churro received. The churro itself was light, crispy yet airy. Not oily at all and the texture was perfect with the soft serve. *Soft serve: wished the soft serve was on the side as the residual heat from the churro melted it quickly. Opted for the twist version instead of just vanilla or chocolate. The soft serve was mild and very creamy. Appreciated how it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and more vanilla centric. *Caramel: light drizzle that served as my replacement for the classic dulce de leche filling. Surprisingly not too sweet and resembled hardened honey. *Horchata: too diluted for my preference and needed stronger cinnamon flavor. Perfect ending to a meal without being too heavy. A distinctive dessert with balanced textures and sweetness. If you're not in a rush, this would be a great snack to give midday boost. read more

THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS!! I loved it so much we have gone back at least 3 times in one week. It's so good and they're usually pretty fast! The cashiers are younger so they're not very inviting they kinda just wait for you to decide what you want before they say anything to you. Not much of a greeting or anything but I don't mind it. There's not a lot of seating but it's nice and the temperature is always cool in there. read more

Was visiting from out of town and excited to try churros but ended up disappointed. Churros were drenched in sugar and were super oily.

Churro with Dulce de leche is so good! Very sweet but it's so worth it!! I like to add my ice cream there too. Staff is nice and chill.

The churros were delicious, the café was nice and clean, and the guy working was really nice. You can't ask for more than that!

I ordered the Spaniard and a vanilla latte. The oil used made the churros pretty firm and the cinnamon was weak in taste along with the coffee. I gave it a second try the next morning and it was like biting into wood sticks. It was very disappointing. Please consider using better quality ingredients because these were clearly not made very well. Unfortunately, we won't be revisiting. read more

The churros are good, the ice cream was nice but I'm not sure I need it next time. Love a good filled churro.

Stopped here for a late night treat and it hit the spot! The idea of deciding the shape of your churro is so cute! Then you can decided the toppings and sauces to go with your churro. I went simple since I wanted to try out their churro dough recipe. I did the churro fries with barvarian cream, my boyfriend got cheek cake, and my best friend got a stuff churro with Carmel sauce. The churros were so hot since they were fried to ordered. There is a window where you can watch them make your churros. They have a machine that presses the dough out. Then the employee will shape the churro then fry it. Along side our churros were got horchatas. They were so creamy and cold which was a nice counter to the hot churro. This place is super fun and delicious! Can't wait to go back! read more

Got a worker named Ryan Dulgarian, very awesome service. I hope he gets a raise or something man

The churros and the selection of churro types was awesome! I went with the Spanish chocolate w churro "fries." Very good! We all thought the Spanish chocolate was better than the plain chocolate dip- the latter was thin and very sweet. I am coming back for the Bavarian cream filling, which was fantastic. read more

If you're anywhere near this spot, do yourself a favor and stop in! The churros are crispy on the outside, perfectly soft on the inside, and just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Pair that with a scoop (or two!) of their yummy ice cream, and you've basically found dessert heaven. Pelayo and Sydney were awesome too; they were super friendly, upbeat, and helpful. The space is cute and clean. Definitely my new go-to dessert spot! read more
