If you love Halloween or spooky scary movies you have to come visit this place. It's not only a bakery but also a museum with a lot of original movie props. They have some tables in the back and you can play games while you enjoy satisfying your sweet tooth. Staff is super friendly. Love their baked items and presentation. Thank you for even having something keto!!

Great decor and a fun indoor space to play spooky games! The gluten-free options are wonderful, and I appreciate that they have vegan choices, though the texture wasn't quite what my vegan partner and I are used to. There's better places in AZ for vegan dessert but I have high hopes they'll get better with gluten free vegan in the future at this spot. Was an exciting bakery to check out! 050425

I personally love this spot! As a big horror fan I can't get enough of the themed treats & like trying to stop by whenever I am over in Chandler and they are open. They offer delicious treats featuring characters like Ghost Face, Slimer, and more plus slices of cake, biscotti and more. Gluten-free guests will be happy to know they are a gluten-free bakery. Alongside their delicious treats they also have some products for sale like earrings, mints, etc. and they have a collection of horror themed props in the store that you can check out while there. Everything in the store ranges in price, but everything is labeled clearly. There are so many delicious sweets to select from, you'll have a hard time trying to leave with just one thing. Sometimes products that are gluten-free can taste a little off, but that wasn't the case with their treats. Everything was sweet and had a lot of flavor. I also loved the little designs on a lot of the products. They do have quite a few products that are staples of the bakery & won't get swapped out, but they do also rotate through other products featuring different movies and themes so there will probably be something new each time you stop by. The mini museum is pretty neat as well, they have a decent number of props, replica clothing and more on display along the walls of the store. As an added bonus they also have a small selection of products for sale including horror themed earrings, hair clips, mint tins, and more. The store is family friendly & the staff were all very nice and were happy to answer questions.

Year round spooky treats for all ghouls & goblins! A perfect location as it's situated across the way from Terror Trader- another year round Halloween decor store. Upon entry, it's very bright with many spooky props throughout. I was expecting it to be a bit more darkishky gloomy being a Halloween themed shop. It took a while to even be greeted & acknowledged by any staff at the counter & I was the only one in there. She seemed rushed as she was making a batch a cupcakes, & clearly could tell she may have been having an off day..it's okay though, don't we all?! The goods: They've got a pretty good selection of options to choose from! You'll find yourself having trouble on what to pick and choose as everything looks so tasty, or you could go bold & buy it all!! I ended up getting 2 "monster"choco chip cookies, "Chucky" shortbread cookie, Cookies & Scream cupcake, & Raspberry "Final Girl" cupcake. Cookies & Scream: Oh.My.Gosh. This was incredibly delicious. It's a chocolate cupcake with a large mountain glob of cookie n cream frosting, which is then coated in a gooey good chocolate dip, and adorned with an edible "ghost face" and knife. As for everything else, everyone loved their goodies. Pricing was very fair being a gluten free bakery. We'll definitely be back for some more ghoulishy good treats!

This movie/ horror-themed gluten-free bakery is a haven for those who crave both spine-chilling thrills and mouthwatering treats. From the moment you approach the shop, with its playful, spooky decorations, and movie memorabilia, you know you're in for a unique experience. Every treat is not only gluten-free but also bursting with flavor and creativity. Some are a little too sweet for me but I think it's just because I'm old haha. Each item is visually stunning though! The staff are not only friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free baking & are also accommodating to various dietary needs, ensuring everyone can enjoy a safe and tasty experience. If you're a horror enthusiast with a sweet tooth or simply someone looking for a unique and gluten-free delight, Spookys Swirls is the perfect place.

This is our favorite gluten free bakery! They are so friendly and helpful! We've ordered custom cakes in the past for our son's birthday! The vibe is fun with old movie memorabilia.

This was a cool spooky spot with all gluten free treats! My kids and I were in the area and they love horror movies, new and old. I love bakery items so it was a win win! Lol The customer service was friendly and willing to answer any questions on any dietary restrictions. Their prices are a bit steep at $7.00 a cupcake but being gluten free and a small business I understand the up charge. We got a few different cupcakes and everything was super moist and tasty. The banana roulade was quite dense but had good flavor. Overall, a nice spot to stop in and checkout!

Hit Spooky's for some delicious desserts! When you walk in, they have so much wonderful horror memorabilia from movies and TV shows. They also had Pet Sematary playing on the TV which was nostalgic and fabulously creepy! The shop is small but there is some seating inside or take your treats to go. They had a large assortment of cookies that were decorated. Then they had a whole case full of different themed and flavored cupcakes with names like cookies and scream and death by chocolate. My son absolutely loves the red velvet. They also have fresh soft pumpkin rolls with a creamy filling that is out of this world. The shop also has a cooler filled with some drinks to choose from, along with coffee.

Yes yes yes 100% yes! The horror theme is amazing. The service was phenomenal and the cupcakes were good. It is a bit pricey but still really good. I loved how you instantly feel the horror vibe. The cupcakes are gluten free and just huge! A definite must!

Excellent and fun place to get a tasty treat. It's a gluten free bakery, but you'd never know it.

So I've been here one other time and it was only for an online pickup. And I will say, it's one of the best bakeries I've been to. They are open to the public to come in to buy delicious treats and look at their cool little museum of movie props and such. We've tried a couple of different things. In the past our favorite was their cinnamon rolls. 1000% if they have them in stock, get them. It was soooooo good and I want them over and over again. This trip I got the betwix'd (it's like a sandie cookie with homemade caramel on top and chocolate drizzle, so tasty. Even out on all the flavor. We also tried the Kahlua Cannoli. My lanta was that so yummy. You can see the pics of them I took before we ate them . The lady there at the counter was super sweet and nice and makes me wanna come back again for sure. Now if you didn't know from the name, they base their treats and a lot of their memorabilia on horror/scary movies. Or some iconic scenes too. What they had in shop was really cool to look at and my husband who's a big fan of the genre loved seeing the difference props. I know they also use you get horror movie actors to come in and do meet and greets and signings as well, if they do, check them out. If not, still check them out. They are just a cool and awesome mom and pop treat shop that I would get from weekly if I could!

I had an incredible experience here the other morning and just felt the need to give a shout out to…read morethe awesome cashier!! They had a promo going for a "free" mug with a $25 purchase. The mug was really cool and AZ themed, so I had to get it. I picked out some of the cake slices as well as some baked goods! I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee drink and added sea salt and brown sugar. It was delicious but definitely on the sweeter side. I think I would skip the brown sugar next time. When I arrived, they were out of the Berry Tales on the floor which are my favorite. I asked if they had any made in the back and it turns out they'd recently made a fresh batch and were letting them cool. Assunta got me a couple of those and then helped ring up my order. She was very very nice and gave me an extra slice of cake. When I mentioned they were for a birthday, she also gave me some candles and birthday chocolates to put on top. I really appreciated this and can't thank her enough for going the extra mile to provide such awesome service! I love 85, Especially this location in Chandler. Definitely check it out sometime.

There were so many options that it honestly took me a while to decide what I wanted! I really liked the self-serve bakery concept because it lets you browse at your own pace and pick out whatever catches your eye. They have a great mix of both sweet and savory items, along with an extensive drink menu featuring both hot and cold beverages, so there's truly something for everyone no matter what you're craving. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful. The pastries were light and delicious, and the drinks paired perfectly with the food. You can definitely tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve. The only thing I'd mention is that they don't accept American Express. It wasn't an issue for me since I had another payment method, but it's something to keep in mind before visiting. Overall, this was a fantastic first experience, and I can definitely see why so many people recommend 85°C Bakery Cafe. Between the incredible selection, fresh-tasting food, delicious drinks, and unique bakery experience, I'll definitely be back to try even more of their menu.

Quiches and Pies is a local business that I heard about only very recently. I decided to check it…read moreout one morning and they had so many delicious looking pastries and quiches. I was only in the mood for pastries, but I would love to come back to try their quiches and coffee. There's a decent amount of seating, but not sure how busy it might get on a weekend morning. I opted for a kouign amann and a chausson aux pommes, which is like an apple turnover. Everything looked reasonably priced. The kouign amann and the chausson were perfectly flaky and hit the spot. I wasn't able to eat both pastries the same day, and I felt like they still held pretty well the next day. So glad I got to try this place and I'll be back!!

You order at the counter from the selection of quiches and pastries which are labeled with the price and description. Once you order, they'll heat up your selections as relevant and bring out to you with silverware. They also didn't mind cutting some of our items in half for sharing. We had the Malmaison quiche ($9.50, with bacon, ham, herbs, tomato), a ham and cheese croissant, and a lemon danish croissant pastry. The quiche was so fluffy and delicious! And the ham and cheese croissant was excellent. Very flaky and lots of fillings. The lemon pastry was good but I don't think I was in much of a sweets mood. Can't wait to come back for more!

Truly the most underrated Asian bakery in the area (and my personal favorite as a Canto girl!)…read more First off, BF Bakery 100% offers the softest milk breads around. You won't be getting dry bolo bao or pastries with an underwhelming amount of filling. Their traditional HK pastries are perfect and consistent every time. Lesser known fact: they've been killing the pastry fusion game. My favorite is a pastry that blends curry, pork sung, and green onion milk breads into one. They also have a milk bread loaf that's half green tea/red bean and half coconut. I think they've even had pork sung red bean once which is admirably wild?? Their latest releases have also been phenomenal. The flaky, sesame-covered radish and spring onion pies taste like they're straight out of a dim sum restaurant, and the salted cream custard bun was so aromatic and creamy. Also worth noting that BF Bakery has long since previous reviews resolved any fly issues. All pastries are bagged, and even free samples have been in sealed containers. So convenient to also be able to check out at the grocery registers if the line gets long!

I know they're vegetarian, but I wanted to double check with her. She responds as "vegetarian means no meat, right"? All employees working at a food establishment should know what vegetarian means. This was quite baffling to hear. I asked her for a new slice because the one that was out on display was visibly burned and the other slice was touching pepperoni from the meat pizza. As mentioned, I'm a vegetarian. Therefore, I could not have either one of those slices. She proceeds to say that's how the pizzas are. They are slightly burned because they are so sourdough. While I can accept this answer, I do not accept the fact that she would not be willing to give me another slice as a paying customer. She insensitively said she can't give me a new one until all the old slices are taken up. She mentioned that this is their procedure. According to this, they are saying that they will not provide a proper product unless the old, damaged product, or unacceptable by the customer is used up first. If this is their business model, then it is apparent they do not value customer service. This business should have the competence to understand that if they want to sell a product, they cannot sell it in a condition that the customer is not satisfied with. Most importantly, being a vegetarian, they should have the sensitivity to understand that if a slice is touching the meat product then they cannot consume it. And again, the employee completely disregarded my health and religious beliefs by not accommodating me. You usually won't encounter problems when you're just trying to buy bread. However, it reflects on the business's employees greatly when there is a problem and they do not value customer service by resolving or accommodating the customer's satisfaction. I will be switching to Noble exclusively. Especially since it's so readily available at the farmers markets and stores.
