I was SO happy the entire time! I loved the tea, pastries, and macarons, and I was amazed by how detailed everything was. From the food and drinks to the decorations. Every little detail felt so thoughtfully done and really brought the whole experience together. The staff were also so sweet and welcoming! It is a small space, so they can sell out quickly when they have special events, and you'll likely be seated with other guests. The bathroom is also located outside in a separate building, but honestly, that was the only downside for me. Overall, I would absolutely come back! I can't even put into words how fascinating and magical this experience was. If you love Studio Ghibli, anime, or just cute and detailed experiences, this was such a special one! I had a London Fog and appreciated the fact that it was brewed properly from loose leaf tea... no tea bag hanging off the cup making a mess and causing it to grow bitter. I also had the chocolate banana bread which is not my usual pastry of choice but it was phenomenal. Most other reviews talk about their full tea service which requires reservations. However they are transitioning into using the space for just casual service as well. So now it's also a spot for grabbing some coffee or tea and a snack. The place was quiet with a relaxed vibe so I plan to come back with my laptop and work here one day soon.

Our table was ready and waiting for us. We had the afternoon tea for three which included a varied selection of finger sandwiches, sweet treats, and scones. Two pots of tea are included and we chose the pudding tea and the gingerbread tea. Both teas were delicious and the gingerbread tea was nice in that it's caffeine free. All the food selections were fresh and fantastic. I would venture to say that I liked the food selections even more than at the previous location! While this new spot isn't as lavish as the golf resort it was previously at, the interior is still charming. Service was very friendly and we were checked on as needed.

I also love the fact that they have a collection of fancy hats you can borrow for the experience. It made it even more fun. You also get to pick your own tea pot and tea cup. From elegant florals to a cat or a panda tea pot, they have it all! The food was good and I appreciated that they had vegetarian options. The tea list is extensive and you can have as much as you want, and you can switch flavors as often as you'd like. They have several herbal options if you don't do caffeine. All in all, this is a really pretty tea room, you'll feel welcomed the minute you step in, and the experience is fantastic.

I don't believe they have any loose leaf teas which was disappointing. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty but very small and hardly any filling in them. The scones tasted store bought as well as a couple of the dessert items. I swear I've had something just like it from Trader Joe's--so that was disappointing. They offered crème fresh but no lemon curd. The service was not good. She was not attentive or timely with things. Communication was poor. I don't feel it's worth $55 plus they automatically include 20% gratuity even on a small party (we had 4 in our group). I don't think I'll be returning. This was my second time here. However, it could be a decent spot for anyone who likes to try out unique blends.

He was thrilled they could accommodate decaffeinated espresso as he is sensitive to caffeine. As we left, he said that he'd definitely return and had another drink in mind to try next time. - Iced Superstition Gold ($9): My order as I love salted caramel, and I didn't realize they would smoke in front of you! I was so mesmerized that I didn't capture a photo while mine was crafted, but I did when someone else ordered one during our stay. Loved the bar concept so you could watch your drink crafted. I'd struggle to not order this drink every time to try something else as it was that good!!! However, I was met and left with a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. The female employee (short hair/glasses) was not the friendliest person, even after I tried being overly nice. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates males in general but not a good representation of a place I was eagerly awaiting to try. I first asked if there was a difference in drinks from what was on the menu and up on the board above. She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.
