DaYung's Tea is one of my new favorite boba spots in the valley! I stopped by on Easter Sunday, and thankfully they were open. They weren't packed, but even if it were, there's ample seating inside with tables and booths. There's free WiFi, individual men and women's bathrooms, a quiet ambiance (at least it was on the Sunday afternoon when I visited), and board games! I inquired if they make the ceylon black tea in a milk tea and was informed that that's exactly what the boba milk tea is. The boba cost is included in the drink price. Although it wasn't on the menu, I asked for a foam on top, and a vanilla cold foam was added on top of my drink for an additional $1. I don't know the exact volume of the cup, but it seems a little bigger than normal bobas due to its width (but maybe I'm tripping). Ultimately, I spent under $10 for a customized drink that I love and couldn't be happier! I loved the taste of the tea specifically and the sweetness of the rest of the drink. Best fruit tea I've found in the area! I'm not local but tried a few of the highest rated places with good fruit tea options. The strawberry green tea was GREAT. Excellent tea quality and fresh fruit made it the perfect drink on a hot day - stands strong even against fruit teas in OC. Biggest complaint is limited toppings. If you have specifics toppings you like beyond the typical boba, you'll likely be disappointed to find they're not available here. Was the lychee jelly for me - it's a tablestake nowadays so wasn't pleased about that. Otherwise, the tea was good...not sure if I'll come back or wait it out until I return home. read more

Favorite drink here is the taro green milk tea. Anything with latte in the name has whole milk and anything with milk tea has non dairy milk! I believe it is coconut milk. I got the taro milk tea with boba and it was delicious! They use real taro, not the powder, so the drink has some chunks in it and isn't purple colored. Overall, Dayung's is a pretty good milk tea spot! The prices are a little on the higher side, but the drinks are worth trying. I got my favorite -- the classic boba milk tea -- and luckily the pearls weren't soaked in too much brown sugar, so it wasn't overly sweet. Hands down some of the best boba I had! The staff here is so friendly and efficient. My partner ordered a banana milk tea with aiyu jelly. I ordered my usual of an oolong milk tea with tapioca and pudding. All of the drinks were made to order with one size only, and they have plenty of chairs and tables for people to hang out and enjoy their drinks. There's also board and card games. The place is clean and located in a strip mall. There's free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the strip mall. They also give punch cards, where you can collect 10 stamps for a free drink. Our order was taken and the drinks was ready in less than 10 minutes. The atmosphere of the store was relaxing. The put a lot of plants around the store, making it a place to relax. Don't know how often people update their reviews, but it's been awhile since I last wrote about da yung. I think they knock the ball out of the park with their drinks. The drinks always taste fresh and they don't seem to use a powder or a syrup. Their strawberry milk tastes exactly like they blended fresh strawberries and then added milk. The boba is always the perfect chewy texture and is not mushy or too hard or undercooked in the middle. They used to have larger boba balls but they had been smaller than usual for awhile now. I have accidentally straight up swallowed some of the boba without chewing a couple of times, which is okay since they are so small but I didn't get to enjoy chewing those ones. I like that you can customize the amount of sugar and amount of ice on quite a few of the drinks. I also like how they have drink specials and that they change weekly. The service is quick and fast! Came by on a Sunday afternoon and it was so busy! I didn't mind the wait since I had time to spare and it was understandable with the amount of customers they had. I waited about 20 minutes for 2 drinks. Ordered the grapefruit green tea and taro green tea. We love their grapefruit drink as it is super refreshing on a hot day and not too sweet. I'm used to seeing taro milk at other places but not taro with green milk tea. The drink itself was so delicious but I really wished they blended the taro down into a paste, it would be more enjoyable that way. Note: They use real taro root, not the fake super purple stuff. A group of friends and I came to check out DaYung's from a recommendation of some friends that used to live in the area.
