    Black tea macchiato

This place was alright. I wanted Boba, but I didn't get any, probably because I didn't specifically ask it to be added. That's on me. The drinks by themselves were good though. I got 2 drinks a macchiato and a milk tea and they were both very good! The sugar jelly was quite interesting! The macchiato would have been peak with some brown sugar boba in it ;)

Was looking for a quick spot to grab some boba tea and so glad I found this spot! Upon walking in staff was so warming & welcome It was est. in 2001! They offer milk and non dairy options! I ordered a taro green milk tea and my best friend ordered the same but blended! They play music and it's a chill spot to get some work done as well as others were doing so.

Great place to stop by on a hella hot day. Friendly service and refreshing winter melon drink gave me the what I needed

Favorite drink here is the taro green milk tea. Anything with latte in the name has whole milk and anything with milk tea has non dairy milk! I believe it is coconut milk. I got full sweetness and it came out perfect! I was told ahead of time the taro will be a bit grainy as they blend real taro! Drinks came fast and it's a very bright & clean place. I can taste the infused green tea and fresh milk!

I got the taro milk tea with boba and it was delicious! They use real taro, not the powder, so the drink has some chunks in it and isn't purple colored. The staff made sure to explain that when I ordered and were very helpful. There's a few different seating options and some cute plants inside.

Overall, Dayung's is a pretty good milk tea spot! The prices are a little on the higher side, but the drinks are worth trying. I got my favorite -- the classic boba milk tea -- and luckily the pearls weren't soaked in too much brown sugar, so it wasn't overly sweet. The milk tea has a nice hint of caramel flavor, which is great if you like that kind of taste. The shop has a clean, simple vibe. Service was just okay, nothing special, but not bad either. Would definitely come back again when I'm craving something sweet but not too heavy!

I never thought I'd say this, but adding boba to my coffee might be my new obsession--and DaYung's Boba in Tempe nailed it. I ordered their house coffee (smooth, perfectly brewed, with just the right kick) and, on a whim, added boba pearls. Best decision ever! What I Loved: * House Coffee: Rich and balanced--not too bitter, not too weak. Perfect on its own. * Boba Addition: The chewy pearls add such a fun texture and just the right hint of sweetness. It transforms your morning cup into something special. * Service: Super friendly baristas who are happy to make recommendations and customize your drink. * Ambiance: Bright, modern, and clean with plenty of seating. Great spot to work or catch up with friends. * Extras: They've got a full menu of teas, smoothies, and bakery items if you want to switch it up next time. If you're a coffee lover who's curious about boba (or a boba fan who needs a caffeine boost), do yourself a favor and try the house coffee with boba at DaYung's. You won't regret it!

Oolong milk tea with tapioca and pudding

Hands down some of the best boba I had! The staff here is so friendly and efficient. My partner ordered a banana milk tea with aiyu jelly. I ordered my usual of an oolong milk tea with tapioca and pudding. All of the drinks were made to order with one size only, and they have plenty of chairs and tables for people to hang out and enjoy their drinks. There's also board and card games. The place is clean and located in a strip mall. There's free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the strip mall. They also give punch cards, where you can collect 10 stamps for a free drink. I would totally come back here when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend DaYung to anyone in the area looking for bubble tea.

My family and I like DaYung. They use fresh fruit like strawberries and mango when they are in season. The strawberry fresh milk & strawberry passion is one of our favorites. The mango boba drinks are what we get too. Their Jasmine green tea is alright, but what they are really known for & what they are good at making is fresh fruit teas. Only negative is price increase and they sometimes run out of boba. They offer stamp cards. Highly recommend!

If you want boba drinks that taste delicious, this is the place to go. They have many different flavors, such as milk tea, tea, coffee, and fruit smoothies. They also have varieties of toppings, such as boba, grass jelly, aiyu, chia seeds, Oreo, macchiato, coconut jelly, etc. The service was great. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Our order was taken and the drinks was ready in less than 10 minutes. The atmosphere of the store was relaxing. The put a lot of plants around the store, making it a place to relax. I do believe it will be more relaxing if they use darker paint for their wall. But as far as drinks concern, it was tasty and delicious. During this visit I got my personal favorite green milk tea and my wife got the new cloud coffee. The cloud coffee tasted like a blended Vietnamese coffee. I actually like it better than normal Viet coffee because I like blended drinks lol Also they closed on Monday and Tuesday. So if you free on other days, definitely check it out guys!

    Order here.

This place is usually a solid 5 for me, but I also haven't visited in the longest time. Something was just off about my recent visit. I'm not sure if it's because I came on a weekday in the summer, or perhaps something else? For starters there was a strange smell, and it wasn't faint.. it honestly smelled like the sewer backed up to put it bluntly. I don't know how the employees could handle it, perhaps you go scent blind after a while? Which brings me to the next thing that was off... the service. No one was cheerful, or lively. They were just going through the motions, and I felt that my ordering drinks was a hassle to the lady cashing me out. I ordered my old favorite, Fresh Fruit Tea, and my husband the Boba Milk Tea. Drinks were good and as we remembered them t

So yummy! We got the roasted oolong milk tea with boba and the strawberry milk tea with boba. Both were amazing! I always love roasted oolong but the strawberry milk tea was the best I've ever had!!

The boba at DaYung never disappoints. You can get your milk tea options and fruit tea options. My favorites include their Orange Beauty and Lemon Aiyu. Both drinks are refreshing and you can really taste the fresh ingredients. Drinks are also customizable in sweetness and ice levels. There is not much seating in the Tempe location. Service is n

Ask the Community - DaYung's Tea

Does anybody know the current hours?

The Tempe location hours are Wednesday - Sunday 12-8 pm. Their Chandler location is open Thursday - Monday 12-6 pm.

Do you know when DaYung will be open again?

They're open! Both the Tempe and Chandler locations, just different hours.

Is the store open yet? Today is May 15, 2020.

I saw that their yelp stated they would be open on the 15th. I gave both locations a call that day but didn't get through to anyone

Do they have any dairy-free milk teas?

YES!! They have some fruit teas, which are also very tasty.

    Is this place dog friendly?

I don't believe they allow dogs inside. However, you could drink your tea out front with your dog, I've seen people hanging there - a little hot this time of year. You can also pull your car right up to the front if you can find a spot (you usually…

Do they offer substitute almond milk or non-dairy milk?

They don't have non dairy milk but they do have delicious tea drinks that don't have dairy

Hi, I was just wondering whats everyone's favorite drink here? Thank you!

    Black tea macchiato!

I heard you guys are opening a new location on arizona and ocotillo is that true? And if so when will it be opening?

This location in chandler opened last May but I believe it's still temporarily closed due to COVID

    Do they have drive through?

    No.

What is their wifi password? :(

When I first moved here, I stopped in out of curiosity, and I still remember how genuinely kind and welcoming every employee was. As someone who was new to the area, that first impression meant a lot. Three years later, the same warm atmosphere keeps me coming back. Their hours have always worked perfectly with my schedule, giving me a comfortable place to study after work. There is plenty of seating, and best of all, lots of outlets, which has been a lifesaver for someone like me with an ancient laptop that seems to lose battery the moment I turn it on! Beyond the amazing coffee and cozy ambiance, what really sets this place apart is its commitment to the community. I've also seen them partner with organizations like Prisma HealthCare to offer free health screenings, which speaks volumes about how much they care about the people they serve.
