The boba is always excellent, and I love that this location has food too. Their Sesame balls and fries are fresh and flavorful. The taro milk tea is my favorite, and they've got a variety of add ins like cheese foam, jelly, and boba. The girls working are always nice, and the interior is cute and crisp. I like watching the screen with their specialty drinks while I wait.
Stopped by about 45 minutes before closing time and we were the only two inside. We looked over the menu for a few minutes and the worker came out running form the back. She quickly greeted us and gave us a few more minutes to look over the menu. We were so undecisive that we let another group order before us. I ended up ordering the "fancy milk tea" and my sister had the "Cheese Soy Milk Tea." We sat down and waited a few minutes for our order to be called out. The tables were clean, the inside décor was super cute, and the music was lit. They had an assortment of music genres playing including some Ariana Grande, Mickey Mouse, Jo Jo Siwa, to even some Bad Bunny. The drinks were good. My fancy milk tea was tasty and the boba was the perfect texture. My sister said her cheese drink lacked flavor and maybe needed some boba to make it better. Service was great as they were friendly and they thanked us for coming in as we walked right out.
My absolute favorite boba spot in the valley. The drinks here are delicious and you can really taste the delicious tea flavor. I love the Four Seasons Mango it's a blended tea smoothie and it's so refreshing especially on hot days, I am also obsessed with the popcorn chicken. It's super cute and bird themed inside just like the cups and staff is very friendly and service is quick even if you order food. Location is very convenient in a mini mall with ample parking!
I think the best part of my visit was seeing Jungkook in the corner. This place has good reviews so I'm wondering if I just ordered the wrong drink because mine was not good. Lols I had the lychee with cheese foam. My drink was kind of warm (ew) and it just tasted like black tea. The cheese was ok, at least the boba was good. The boba shop was quiet and clean. The girl working there was quiet too, I couldn't hear her when I think she greeted me when I walked in? She wasn't very personable but she wasn't rude either. Just there doing her job. Would I go back? Probably not. Sorry!
Wow this place is inside the Asiana shopping center so very convenient - you can go grocery shopping and get a treat! Walking in it's very clean and has a nature theme going on (fitting considering the name). Employees helped my girlfriend pick a drink out and were more than happy to let us sample a bunch of toppings. A+ service. We got the thai milk tea and a winter melon tea with rainbow jelly. The thai milk tea was really good. Good thai tea flavor and the boba - man their boba is really good. I don't like boba that's too sweet and too soft. Their boba is just the right amount of sweetness for me and a great texture. The winter melon tea was ehh but mainly because not my fav type of tea. Had depth to it though and wasn't a bad tea itself. They also have a punch card to get and you can redeem a free drink if you come often. Highly recommend this boba one of the better ones I've had in the valley and quick service.

Therefore they were not mushy or hard. They also had a good flavor. At another place the boba balls tasted weird and had a strange flavor. They have a great parking lot with lots of spaces. Just wish we had more shaded parking lots. The inside was clean and small. There were a couple of tables and chairs, but not enough for a large group of people. The service was fast and I got my drinks fairly quickly. A couple of people came inside while I was there. Seems like they are pretty popular. They also sell snacks.

Service was fast, friendly, and the drinks were fresh and sweet! There are several vegan options but the majority of drinks have powdered milk or milk in them. I would love it if they would consider marking their plant-based options with a symbol for easy reading. The shop is in a strip mall with the Dollar Tree and Angry Crab Shack. It's not my favorite parking lot because there are no trees or shade, but if you're stopping in real quick during summer, it's ok. The Boba Tree is clean, cute, and bright inside. They have seating if you're looking to stay longer and they have a food menu that I did not order from but it looked pretty good! I highly recommend Boba Tree, especially if you're looking to cool off, and I can't wait to visit again!

Super cute boba store with a lot of fun options. You can smell the popcorn chicken as soon as you walk in, mouth watering! The wait for the boba is super short! A heads up, if you get the cheese foam it is extremely salty and the flavor of the teas are a little weak to the point you are not sure if you can taste the flavor you picked. read more

We came here while doing some errands and I'm glad we did. The shop is cute with tons of baby cartoon boba pearls as mascots on the walls. There are so many options to choose from and they all look so good. There are variations that include milk, fruit, cheese foam, and more. I got the oolong milk tea with boba and we also got a taro tea. Both were really good. The cups are super cute and durable. Check my pic! They also have a loyalty program stamp card. We drove by Tempe a little before noon on a road trip and were craving for some boba, so we found this place through Yelp and Google search. This is one of the good rating ones in the area and most importantly, it opens before 12, so we decided to check it out. Hmmmm...not impressed by their basic tea drinks. If you are a fan of a more colorful syrupy cup of boba, this might be your spot, but for a traditional classic milk tea or green milk tea, they are subpar. I do like the taro boba tho. Too cute for words! This place is a nice hidden gem, from the flavorful drinks to its kawaii/modern style! Our drinks were made quickly and the team there was nice, friendly, and helpful. They are still doing more carry out but have a few seats open so that you and friends and seat and drink! They even have a cute mural on the back wall of how the boba seeds make their way to the drinks! (So cute) I personally got the cheese dragon fruit drink. It was blended dragon fruit and on top it's had their sea salt cheese foam (made with cream cheese). The salty cheese foam cut the sweetness of the dragon fruit and I even added coconut jellies to the bottom. The cups were cool and they had a stopper so that you can shake your drink! My friends got the taro milk tea and the cheese peach tea and they both loved them too! Will for sure be back to try out more drinks and even their snacks! read more
We stopped by this little place for some dessert after getting some well-deserved soup dumplings, and it was definitely a great experience. The interior decor was adorable, and it had lots of modern attributes including their menu display. The person at the counter was very friendly and helpful, and provided us with a tiny cup for our daughter, since their drink sizes were a little large for small children. I ordered the taro boba slush which was very good as expected, the husband ordered one of the classic milk teas which he enjoyed, and we opted for a strawberry slush with no boba for our three year old, which she said she was a fan of. Overall, cute little spot, will certainly be back! read more
I was in the area and knew I had to try this second location of Boba Tree! I got a fancy milk tea and a super grapefruit to go. The fancy milk tea wasn't fancy enough in my opinion lol. It's a milk tea that comes with pudding, herbal jelly and boba. There was only a small amount of boba and herbal jelly in the drink compared to other competing boba shops. The boba itself was a good chewy texture and the jelly+pudding tasted good. I'm always a fan of the super grapefruit from the original location and this one tasted the same. It's a wonderful balance of citrusy tart grapefruit and light sweetness. It's so super refreshing it's like summer in a cup! The interior is smaller than the original Boba Tree location but it's squeaky clean. Like the other location they have a punch card system where your 10th drink is free. read more
The only dinosaur who loved drinking tea was the TEA-REX. Oh goodness. This is dangerous. The place of the tastiest cheese foam in town is WAAAY too close to home! Cheers and a hearty congratulations on Boba Tree opening their second location! They make great teas here. Crazy fruit tea, citron tea, gyokuro tea, et cetera... everything is good! Just slap some cheese foam on whatever catches your eye, tilt your cup back with confidence, and let the tea and cheese foam mingle in your mouth. *kisses fingertips* During their opening weekend, they had an excellent BOGO going. On the evening I went, I got a cranberry peach tea on the house. It was refreshing! This location is very cozy. Although the lobby is closed during the pandemic, this really isn't a place to hang out with the homies. The decor is excellent but it's all wavy couch-seating and some bar tables. Regardless, get some seafood boil at the place on the corner or some good Thai food next door and come here for some tea! Just get over here already! read more

Dropped by this Boba Tree location a couple of times and have to give a 5 star for being my go to place for cheese tea/cheese foam in the area! Call me basic but I'm a sucker for a good milk tea with boba topped off with cheese foam. I have had this very drink here a couple of times and really enjoyed it! My only criticism is that I wish the boba was slightly more firm and the drinks had a bit more ice. Those are definitely personal preference so keep that in mind! My friend has tried their brown sugar and coffee milk tea drinks, both of which he loved. Prices are fair for the size for the most part. Service was nice and prompt in regards to the wait time for drinks and there is a stamp card for this place as well. If you have never tried cheese tea or cheese foam, I HIGHLY recommend it, especially here. Parking in the complex is easy and you can grab your drink and be on your way quite quickly! read more
Still the same and still delicious but now at a different location (hooray! it's now closer to me!) My favorites here are any of the cheese foam drinks. I also recommend any drink with the cheese foam added. I recommend the cheese foam. I kid, but it's just soooo good! The banana milk, grape tea, anything fruity is refreshing and hits the spot. My go-to is the honeydew melon or Jasmine milk tea with pudding and cheese. If you follow their insta they have seasonals and specials. Always a consistently good spot that's there for you. So glad they have more locations. During the pandemic they have only waiting areas for pick up, contactless pay, and window shields between the cashier and you. One of my favorite places to get popcorn chicken and boba. This shop is tucked away in a large plaza right next to a Thai food place, so there's plenty of parking available. The inside of the shop is spacious and clean, and there's plenty of indoor seating available. The staff is very friendly, and I appreciate that they get my order correct every time (with the other Boba Tree location, however, I usually find that they get my order wrong or the drinks aren't as consistent). I usually get the jasmine milk tea with boba and no sugar/ice as well as the popcorn chicken, both of which are tasty! I find that the drinks are waaaay too sweet at even 30% sugar, so I suggest customizing the drinks so that they're 0% sugar and working your way up if you don't find the sweetness level to your liking. The popcorn chicken is honestly one of the best I've found in the valley, as most places don't get the crunchiness or flavor right. I feel like it's the closest to authentic Taiwanese popcorn chicken that I've found amongst boba shops in Phoenix, which is awesome because I honestly have such a hard time finding good Chinese food here. Highly recommend trying if you're looking to get your boba fix. read more

I am a huge fan of boba tea. Anytime I find a new place it is a compulsion that I cannot deny: I have to try it. Boba Tree was no exception. Our purpose for the trip to Mesa was a craving for Thai food and Soda Bun is in the same complex as Boba Tree. So although our goal was Soda Bun, immediately upon pulling into the lot & spotting Boba Tree, I knew we would be popping in after dinner. It's been over a month since we stopped in, which means I cannot remember the two drinks we ordered, aside from them being cold & good, and saying to my partner in crime, "this is good, we have to come back & sample their entire menu". I've never seen or tried any boba stores that give this much toppings. If you order 2 servings of toppings, the drink will be half-filled with those. They only serve food/snacks at this location. Their chicken is the best and you should try that. The cup has good quality and a cute design. I'm a returning customer of the first Boba Tree, and now I switched to this location because it's closer to my house. read more

So it was my first time trying this place out and I was definitely excited to come and check it out. Ordered 4 different drinks and overall boba was pretty good. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the service was not that great and usually I'm one to just not mind stuff like that. But I came here with my family with some questions about their menu and the 3 workers were not helpful for whatever reason and just stared at us lol definitely never experienced anything like that before. But I mean drinks were decent. read more

Can you get a milk tea made with soy, coconut, or almond milk instead of dairy?
Hi Sarah, we can’t not make the milk tea with soy, coconut,or almond milk. Only drink we can change the base will be the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk. We can change the whole milk base to the soy milk or the almond milk base. Thank you so much.
