Guess who found a hidden gem?! During a recent visit to Arizona I discovered this lovely place. Seeking refuge from the heat streak, I came across Island Boba and I'm so glad I did. For starters the inside is definitely a vibe. It's conveniently located inside of Palette Collective. Although there are cute tables located outside, it was far too hot to indulge. Upon entering immediately you are greeted by the beautiful decor that assist in providing island vibes. There is also a seating area inside. I tried the Mango O Tai which was rich and fruity, I added a touch of Tapioca pearls. My significant other tried the Horchata and absolutely loved it. It was sweet w/ a perfect blend of cinnamon. They also had a Fitz Magic drink as well which consisted of cherry, and Red Bull. I want to say that was a part of their secret menu and who doesn't love a good secret! I was hesitant to try it but I'm glad I did, it had a bit of fizz, and included the strawberry popping boba! I was thoroughly impressed with this establishment and so grateful I found it. While visiting Arizona I had the chance to stop by Island boba! I ordered the AZ Sunset and it was a hit! Great refresher for the AZ heat and kept me cool and wanting more. It wasn't too sweet like most boba drinks where you get that artificial taste. Will definitely be coming back for more! I also had the Mango Otai and Raro Taro... because I was indecisive and had to try it all (lol) both were delicious. First time trying Island Boba. It was pretty hard to find because we didn't realize it was inside of another building. The interior was very small but cute vibe. There was only one employee there and she was very nice and welcoming but seemed a little overwhelmed. I ordered the strawberry smoothie and wasn't a fan. It was very milky and too sweet for my taste, maybe good for someone else. Perhaps there are better drinks available but first impression was not the best. Very creative drink menu and they have different kinds of drinks for everyone which I love! The only negative thing I could say about this place is that their staff is incredibly slow, not because it's busy, I think just because it's a single person working or just very slow paced. The drink is good but the boba was hard and uncooked. Bitting into it you can see the center is not cooked. It's smaller as it's on the right side of the entrance.
