Not sure how we missed the spot given how much we love Boba, but we did. Finally found it the other night, while headed to another place. I noticed it because the lights are really bright as it sits at the end of the shopping plaza. I probably didn't notice it before because there's several other businesses surrounding it, and a building in the outer parking lot that partially partially obscures the view of the Boba spot. However, I am glad we found it. This is a really legitimate spot with a ton of Boba and tea options. They also have a lot of food options which I was a bit surprised by and disappointed because we had already eaten. So I will definitely have to return to try the food out. But the Boba drinks we both ordered were fantastic. My partner ordered the Vietnamese coffee and she thought it was probably one of the more stronger versions she's had in the valley. This place must've recently gone through a remodel / revamp because its super cool inside now! It was pretty busy when we stopped by on Sunday as the line was out the door and there was several groups of people sitting down. We looked over the menus and ordered. My sister had an Oreo milk tea, my friend had a peach frappe, and I had the mango frappe. The drinks were all delicious and not overwhemilgly sweet. They were unfortunately all out of the honey boba though so we had to improvise our drinks. We sat down for like two seconds and decided to give the plushy claw machines a try. We each spent about $5 on tokens and we all walked out with a cute bear. Overall we had a great visit. They have a variety of drinks and snacks on the menu and they all sound good! Went to Boba Cutea yesterday and my partner and I got four items: 1) royal house milk tea (with less sugar and less ice), strawberry crema x 3) bbq pork bao, and 4) hot spicy cutea fried chicken. First, the good--everything was adorable - I loved the packaging on both the drinks and the food. And the brown sugar boba was perfect. Chewy without being goopy and with a hint of sweetness. Then the average--the tea and the strawberry drink were refreshing. The the bbq pork bao were fine, but comparable to frozen buns you can buy and steam yourself. Would be a solid three-star if it wasn't for the chicken. One of my favorite things to pair with boba is fried chicken, especially spicy fried chicken, but unfortunately, this one did not hit the mark. It was extremely heavily battered, and tasted mostly like cayenne (with a little of earthiness, of turmeric? paprika? cumin?) with barely a hint of salt (I think just from the chicken itself). Best case scenario, they forgot to add half of the seasonings and we got unlucky with the chicken pieces, but probably the worst chicken at a boba shop I've ever had, and I've had a lot of chicken at boba shops. It may also be a result of some sort of rebrand/merger? Some of the items had "Boba Cutea" branding and others had "Boba cucue." Overall, I'd *maybe* come back for the tea, but there are so many great boba shops in the valley, I don't think this one is worth going back to. read more

Never been much of a fan of Boba Tea, but my son & his girlfriend invited me to join them yesterday. They were really wanting to try this location as it has many great reviews on Yelp too! Was pleasantly surprised by the shops style and all their offerings inside this little spot. Decorations are adorable and not only do they have a good variety of drinks, they also carry some food items such as pan fried dumplings, potstickers and boa buns. We all decided on their teas. Fruit Tea Madness, Fire Crème Brûlée Milk Tea & Peach Oolong Smash Tea. These teas are a mix of milk or fruits and topped off with chewy tapioca pearls or brown sugar balls that are created similar just with a process of caramelized syrup. They were tasty, but again for me it's a weird thing about the texture and with the pearls that then drop to the bottom it seems to be sipping those up through the straw first before even getting the true flavor of the drink itself. I just can't seem to get past the slimy and tough un-chew-able consistency of the boba alone. The other two really enjoyed theirs and could handle the challenge. I also ordered the pan fried dumplings (to go) , they were average and the dipping sauce was a little unusual and not what I'm generally accustomed to. Plus, fairly pricey in my opinion, as my bill for two items the drink and 5 dumplings was $14.19 including tip and tax. As you wait for your order, there is a cute display (on the back wall) of all kinds of gifts and unique things to browse. Service and staff pleasant & space clean. The tea was either brewed too strong or it had been sitting around for a long time concentrating the tea flavor. I was sorely disappointed as this was probably the worst Thai tea I've had. TRIPLE TARO TORNADO SWIRL- has good intentions but is not too good overall. They use real taro which I appreciate but it was smudged on the side. It made a nice design but the drink itself was just under-sweetened and didn't really blend together. I don't know if I was supposed to mix it or what. SKY BLUE FREEZY CLOUD- this one I kinda liked. It was like a fruity cream soda. Could probably go well with popping boba or jelly added BLUEBERRY MILK BUBBLE- decent. Like blueberry flavored milk with blueberry syrup/jam swirls Kids would probably enjoy this place if you want to take them out for a treat. Little on the pricey side but probably average these days. One of my favorite places for fruit based drinks while the milk tea occasionally tastes diluted. Service is quite fast unless you order any of their fried snacks. I usually expect my order to be finished within 10 minutes, even with a longer line. Take out orders are usually accurate and they have sturdy containers for transport. They have a stamp card where you can receive a free drink after 10 purchases. Sugar varied from no sugar, less, regular, to extra. Ice could also be altered to the same levels and I appreciate how "less ice" is adequately measured. For blended drinks, I would keep the sugar at regular while I prefer less sugar for tea based concoctions. Each drink came in the same cup (except for the bucket) and most included toppings. For the price and size, I found it to be very affordable compared to the competitors. The brown sugar boba added some sweetness but it was not overly syrupy. The texture was consistently chewy and bouncy. The crystal boba was standard. However, I would like to see more boba included in each cup as Boba Cutea offers a few balls with each drink. =YUM= *Takoyaki: a must order snack. Had notable chunks of octopus around fluffy batter. Topped with sweet takoyaki sauce, mayo and bonito flakes. Each order came with 6 hot orbs of goodness. *Coffee Tornado: an underrated blended option. The creme brulee at Boba Cutea consisted of a thick, almost pudding-like swirl around the cup. Not sweet but rather creamy, which went well with the coffee. Personally would keep it at original sugar to get more coffee flavor. *Fruit Tea Madness: boasted of 10 fresh seasonal fruits and my go to. More citrus forward with subtle berry flavor. The green tea was brewed strong so it truly withstood all of the fruit components. *Fruit Tea Mega Bucket: honestly a fun option when you know you're in for a long day. Wished it came with more boba but I enjoyed the bigger version of their fruit tea. *Peach Oolong Tea: the peach jam wasn't as prevalent but the peachiness does shine and complement the oolong tea. One of my favorites when I don't want anything overwhelming yet slightly fruity. *Strawberry Milk Bubble: came with tons of strawberry jam and included strawberry slices. A little sweet for my taste so I would lower the sugar level but otherwise, this slaps tons of strawberry goodness into a cup. One of the richer drinks. *Brown Sugar Matcha: an earthier option. No exceptional matcha flavor but it was well balanced given the brown sugar element added some much needed sweetness. =PASS= *Kaarage: the batter overwhelmed the chicken, which was also unfortunately dry. Came with a strange white sauce that left a film in my mouth yet tasted like nothing. Portion size was great though. *Thai Tea Tornado: very weak tea flavor and was predominantly ice. Although the description included a toasted element, it wasn't detectable. *Strawberry Crema X: the inferior strawberry drink as the blended component took away from the strawberry flavor. The smoothie was separated into an icy layer and fruit juice before I even took my first sip. The whipped cream contributed nothing in terms of creaminess and taste. *Mango Coconut Milk Bubble: very sweet and artificial tasting. The mango chunks were pleasant but the overall drink tasted like pure syrup. The selection is impressive and usually anything I pick tastes great. However, my recent experiences tasted rather diluted hence the deduction in stars. Their fruit drinks appear the most impressive with the milk teas lagging behind. Came by Boba Cutea on Yelp and was excited to try out this cute new place, esp since it was located close to me! Though I found this place to be very picture friendly, I think there are still some growing pains to be worked out. I dropped by this place around 3 pm on a weekday and had to wait several minutes to even order. Service was very friendly, but I was informed that there would be a 10-15 min wait for my drink to come out even though the store wasn't crowded. I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't mind waiting, but I expected a bit more efficiency in general. While I waited for my drink, a line began to form at the register and a customer even came in for a pick up order and had incredible difficulty flagging someone down to ask about his order. Everyone seemed really sweet, but there still seem to be some kinks in their workflow at this point in time. When my drink came out, it looked delicious! I had ordered a matcha cheese tea -- price came out to $5.95 total including the brown sugar boba that it comes with. I personally felt that the price was a bit high even though the cups are fairly large. I wouldn't have minded the price at all if the taste had been commensurate. The cheese topping was delicious and the boba was pretty good, but frankly the matcha was such a letdown. Watered down taste with no robust flavor whatsoever. Not what I expect when I order a matcha at all. Perhaps I ordered the wrong drink or just came at a time where their operations weren't running smoothly, but I'd give this place a 5 for looks and 3 for taste. I happened to stumble upon this very cute Hong Kong feel Boba Tea shop while I was driving home. I didn't realize they weren't officially open until I walked in and crashed their taste testing event. Oops! But let me tell you, the owners were so nice about it! They ended up asking me and my kid to stay and taste test a few drinks! Of course I said heck yes!! They made a specialty drink just for my 5 year old, and he gave them a 1000/10! I believe they name it Pocky Tornado. I got to try a ton of drinks too, match bubble milk, cheesy berry mix, galaxy, brown sugar milk tea and a few others that I can't remember the name of. My favorites were the mixed berry and galaxy one I believe. I thought this place was extremely cute too! From the inside decor, to the cute little cups they come in and just the extensive list of drinks! What I learned while taste testing was they actually cold brew their teas and they make CHEWY Boba in house, the texture was pretty unique! This place lives up to its name. The inside is cutely decorated from the logo to the cloud lights to even the drink lids. In the words of my wife, it was "adorbs." You can tell the drinks made here are made with TLC. The owners really put a lot of their love into everything they are doing and want to ensure that the customers love their drinks as well. I ordered three different drinks: Royal Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and Almond Milk Tea. All drinks have boba included, so I didn't even need to tell them to add it, unlike other boba shops. When asking to reduce the sugar on the Royal Milk Tea for my sister, the owner let me know that it would be a bit more bitter and that others have complained that it was really bitter after reducing the sugar amount. She told me I could taste the drink though, and they would add sugar to it if wanted. I declined, as it was for my sister and she wasn't with me. Side note: sister liked it. I got the Brown Sugar Milk tea and it was great. The boba was soft, warm, and chewy. Definitely one of the better brown sugar milk teas I've had. My wife also liked the Almond Milk Tea and said it had just the right amount of sweetness. This was a great find and I wish these guys lots of success, especially since they just opened. read more

I wish they'd let you adjust the sugar level, because the boba tea is actually not that sweet and some of the bitterness of the tea do come through. You can get fresh taro here, although it's not very well-blended and still a bit grainy. My favorite is the mango frappe. It's thick, icy, and ideal on a hot day. They load it with fun stuff like crystal boba, fresh mango, then topped with a mango mochi ice cream, and salted foam. It's a drink I never get bored of. I got the strawberry slush and a box of Karaage. The drink I got was absolutely fantastic. The presentation of the food and drink is gorgeous, However, the karaage was pretty mid but the chili sauce made it just a bit better. I was taken care of very quickly with smiles from the staff. My girlfriend and I stopped by this cute little shop the other day to grab some Boba. The decor is very inviting and relaxing and we were greeted promptly by the staff. I ordered the dragon fruit milk tea with mango popping Boba and my girlfriend got the Taro milk tea. Both of our drinks were very good. We also tried the bubble waffle oreo treat (can't remember the exact name) which was really good as well. It wasn't very sweet which I really appreciate since the drinks are quite sweet just by themselves. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. I definitely recommend stopping by. read more
