While waiting for my food at a nearby restaurant to be ready, I stopped in to DaYung's Tea. The inside of the shop was bright and modern. There was a photo wall and seating for plenty of guests. The menu was straightforward, with specials listed on a board at the register. There were many tea and fruit options, with the availability for varying sweetness, ice, cream, or anything else to make your drink to your liking. I had actually gone in hoping that they had a Vietnamese coffee or something stronger, and ultimately chose the caramel boba latte. To try for the first time, I didn't adjust any of the sweetness and has it made originally. I did find it very sweet, and in the future would probably dumb it down a little bit. I felt that there was a fairly good value for your money, and service was so fast. The gal at the counter was very patient and kind with her customers. Dayung: Your boba spot since 2001. I only ever come to this location if I'm having Vietnamese food a few shops down. Came here recently for Dayung house coffee and banana milk tea. Both were made with regular ice and 50% sugar. Both were great. That coffee is smooth and robust. The banana milk tasted of actual banana. This was the perfect way to cap off a great Saturday evening. Dayung is a solid space. I'll always be a fan. read more

Drink was very good and you can taste the fragrance of the tea! One of the fun drinks we got was called the pink beauty and that was so refreshing to drink! It had aloe and a very fun citrus taste. I love the aloe Vera, it's a square jelly that is slight sweet and sour, it tasted really good in the Brazilian lemonade. The Brazilian lemonade was very good, I never saw it at a boba place before. It's lime, not lemon, and it's like a creamy lime aid. I got it with boba and aloe. They put so much boba in it, they were so fresh and yummy. Very filling and refreshing! I also got the fresh fruit tea where they put all the types of fruit slice like orange, grapefruit and lime in it with Aiyu jelly. I just have to let you all know how good this place is compared to other boba tea places. If you're looking for a place that offers fresh drinks this is it. It's one of the very few places that uses fresh fruit and is not all about powdered drinks and sweet syrups like many other places. They actually have real taro, mango, strawberry, etc. I love how refreshing some of these drinks are. I'm into their taro fresh milk (very different from the artificial powdered taro drinks), mango smoothie, Brazilian lemonade, and strawberry fresh milk for something non caffeinated. Otherwise I like their green tea macchiato, regular boba tea, Thai tea, grapefruit tea, and more. Surprisingly I haven't tried everything. Service is always excellent. They're always busy making drinks no matter when I go it seems like. There's plenty of seats to sit and wait or to lounge around with friends. They have a stamp card: buy 9 and the 10th is free. I like to get a handful of drinks to have throughout the week. The teas usually last minus the boba. I recommend going 50% sweetness overall - still sweet enough for me! And 100% goodness! read more

I get a mango or strawberry smoothie with coconut jelly when it's available, (it's a seasonal drink) and when they aren't, I get a wintermelon tea with pudding. A notable difference from these drinks and other places is that these drinks are always fresh! Never flavored, always made from actual fruits/tea leaves. I got the Dayung's Fresh Fruit Tea with boba, and it was honestly one of the best fruit teas I've had in the States. The drink had the perfect balance of fruity, tropical flavor with just the right fruit-to-tea ratio--refreshing, vibrant, and not overly sweet. I've been going to all the Dayung's locations for many years at this point and their drinks will always deliver. Their drinks are made with real fruit and I have never had an issue with the quality of their ingredients. In my experience, their drinks tend to fall on the sweeter side without any adjustments but the sugar and ice levels can be adjusted on almost all drinks so keep that in mind. If you order boba they tend to put a lot too but this can be adjusted too. My go to drink is the wintermelon tea with boba but I always try their seasonal blended drinks during the summer time. I like the winter melon tea here. It tastes strong. I like to have a lot of flavor in my tea. Very few places make good winter melon tea. I heard that other places use a powder or syrup and can't control the amount of sugar without affecting the flavor. The employees here are so nice. I like that they are so proficient at knowing about the differences between each of the drinks. The fact that they use fresh fruit is good. There are too few places that can do the same thing. I find that most places use syrups or powders. There are a lot of boba shops in the area but I am afraid to try new ones as this place is great! I don't usually deviate when I have found a great beverage or food establishment. I tend to keep going back to the same places. Sometimes with friends we go to new places and can try a lot of different items at once. That is good because then I can pick a new favorite or try a variety all at once. We needed some boba and we were told about this place. For the first time, we came here at 3pm on 7/4/21 and this place was opened. There was nobody here which was good for us since we could take our time deciding on which to get. My baseline was Boba Milk Tea which was what I ordered. We also ordered the Green Milk Tea. Those drinks tasted great and the flavor was there unlike some of the other boba places we have tried around the valley. This was so great that this turned into our go-to spot for boba. It helped that we lived nearby so we've been back so many more times to try the different drinks on the menu. As far as I can remember, a lot of the drinks tasted good and definitely was recommended to try. In my opinion, this was the best place for some boba milk tea in the valley. Our absolute favorite boba spot. The milk tea is simple enough and flavorful. The kids will have us drive out of the way just to get Oreo milk tea or Thai tea here. I think this is one of the places that really sticks to the sugar percentages. We can go as low as 30% here and still be perfectly fine. Just writing this review makes me crave their milk tea! I just wished they opened an hour earlier on the weekends. After we eat at pho chandler, we usually have to wait til noon when they open. I absolutely love this place and am sad I live so far from them! This boba tea shop is conveniently located near the local shopping area; which makes for a great stop before or after shopping. I've been here a couple of times and each time the staff is so friendly. They have a decent selection to choose from. I've had both the Thai milk tea and the strawberry fresh milk and they're both very delicious! I recently got my grandma into boba tea and she enjoys the caramel boba tea(?) I forget the name of it. However they are all delicious drinks! The staff is super friendly and always pleasant to talk to! They have a rewards program for their drinks with a stamp card of buy 10 get one free I believe (double check with the store please!). Honestly one of my favorite places to stop by and grab a drink. One of the best boba places in the valley. I love the taste and the variety of the boba drinks that they offer and the speed of their service. I enjoy all of the drinks that they have available. My favorite is the milk tea. I like the strawberry fresh milk as well. They use fresh fruit and other ingredients that are very good. The boba is amazing and also always fresh so far. The boba tends to be springy and not mushy or hard. I have went to other places and they have some that are mushy or hard or both. I was surprised that they had smaller boba balls at one point and I kept swallowing them by accident. That was fine as I didn't choke on them. I just had to drink them right away because otherwise they do get a little hard and are not chewy in texture afterwards. One of the better boba places I've tried in Arizona. I usually get the caramel boba latte which is pretty good. It's not too sweet, but has that smooth, creamy consistency I want with boba. I tried the banana milk tea today and I'd say it's more of a smoothie than milk consistency, which is fine just wasn't expecting that. It definitely tasted like banana which I appreciate. I probably will go back to my usual but they have plenty of other drinks to choose from. read more
