First time customer at Rapha Tea. I came in to order a milk tea on a Sunday around 7pm. At the beginning of my order I was informed they were out of boba. I placed my order for a guava milk tea. After I had paid I sat to wait for my order and I was informed they were out of black tea. I am not familiar with the different drinks/teas and how black vs green would change the flavor so I asked the staff for their recommendation if they thought green tea would be okay in the milk tea. They let me know they weren't sure and recommend trying a guava refresher with green tea instead.. The guava refresher tasted okay. It didn't taste like guava. I would not order again. This was a learning experience. I appreciate the staff trying to make my order with the ingredients they had available. The space is small and they have a couple tables and chairs. The owners (I believe) gave me a sample of their mango rolled ice cream. The ice cream is soooooooo delicious! The flavor of mango was there and tasted like fresh mangos the actual fruit. This is not the same Raphatea (now known as Boba &Brew Tea House) as the one on Chandler Blvd. It shares the same name, but the menu and drink quality are completely different. The space itself is very clean and has a nice vibe, but the drinks were disappointing. We tried the Imperial Thai Tea, which was far too sweet, and the Taro Milk Tea, which was okay but not worth the price and would not get again when there's other better boba options nearby. They do offer a 10% student discount, which is nice. Parking can be difficult when it's busy, but we entered the lot when someone left. read more

First, love that they were opened on a holiday and had a buy one get one 25% off! We sampled a few different drinks and found that none quite hit the mark for us this time. That's more about our personal taste preferences than anything specific--just a matter of individual flavor. Also saw they were offering rolled ice cream and had a 25% off to introduce it. Rapha Tea makes tas-tea drinks! It's conveniently located near my son's gym so we occasionally stop by here for a treat on our way home. It's located in a small shopping strip with plenty of parking. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. My go-to is either a strawberry matcha or ube milk tea with boba. I've also recently had their ube matcha. The matcha flavor is great, not overwhelming. The ube flavor is more subtle than I'd like, but not enough to turn me off. The boba has great consistency and taste. My son's go-to is the cloudy bubble or the Rapha signature which is brown sugar. I've been loyal customer since this location opened. There have been several ownership changes, but the current ownership and staff have failed too many times and I'll not be going back and you should not either. Today I walked in and stood in front of the register. The girl behind the counter didn't acknowledge me or say a word. She just starred at me. I had to ask her if she was ready to take my order, she said ya. I said why are you just starting at me? She didn't say anything. They have a large selection of drinks. I like that. If I am not in the mood for one flavor, I can choose a different one. They have a series called refresher teas. The refresher teas are Honey Tea, Calamodin Tea, Rose-Lychee Tea, Lychee Tea, Peach Tea, Mango Tea, Strawberry Tea, Passionfruit Tea, Pineapple Tea, Grapefruit Tea, Wintermelon Tea, Aloha Sunshine Tea (lychee peach mango), Guava Tea. I have never tried any of these other teas there. They also have a fresh tea series with Black Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, Oolong Tea, and Hojicha Tea. I had the winter melon tea. I am not sure what it is, but Rapha tea doesn't taste as flavorful to me as at other places. The flavor isn't very strong. I am not sure if a factor that may have played into this was because there was less sugar. I know that when I have had drinks at other places, when there is less sugar there is less flavor. I had the wintermelon tea and it simply didn't seem to have a very strong taste in terms of its flavor. I wish the tea tasted stronger. Even though I gave the winter melon tea here another try, I guess it's just not my favorite here. I will have to get it from somewhere else when I am in the mood for that flavor. Otherwise, I will have to try their special teas when I am in the area and am in need of a boba drink: Rapha Signature, Matcha Tiger, Fresh Taro Milk Tea, Thai Milk Tea. Besides their refresher series and the special teas, they have a butterfly series. not sure what the butterfly means in the name, but they have drinks called Lychee Butterfly, Wintermelon Butterfly, Passionfruit Butterfly, Rose-Lychee Butterfly. The vibe is always friendly & welcoming. The aesthetic is modern & cute (sort of girly, but it's a hit w/the youngins) You are also able to adjust the sweetness of the drink & how much ice. They also have alternatives to dairy if you are lactose intolerant. It might not seem much, but this is quite comparable to good boba in California. read more

I've been to this shop a number of times before, even though I hate the hassle of the center's undersized parking lot, and have always had good experiences, but they were definitely off this afternoon. The usually well-lit shop was dark and gloomy. There were a couple of people at tables and three or four standing near the door waiting for their orders, but no one waiting to place an order. It was weirdly quiet for a tiny spot with eight people in close proximity. One employee was rolling ice cream, while another made a drink. Neither seemed to be making much of an effort to complete the backlogged orders. I was not greeted, or even acknowledged although the girl making the drink made eye contact. After several minutes of being completely ignored, I left. I probably won't bother going back. I love boba so I try many boba places! This one is close to home and I've had Rapha tea boba at least 50 times lol It's good, I've tried at least 10 different drinks and liked all of them. Price range is around $4-$7 per drink depending on size and if you add boba or other add-ons. My least favorite drink if theirs hwas the Rapha Signature because it tasted like a giant cup of sweet milk, (too much dairy) to which I was not a fan. I prefer the juice and non dairy options. I have noticed that sometimes the drinks taste a little differently depending on who's making them. The staff is usually good. Most younger high school kids so I'm understanding of that. Sometimes they're quiet and not the most friendly, but usually they're at least friendly and greet you upon entering. read more

Unfortunately was disappointed during their grand opening. Got a couple of matcha lattes that were chalky and much more sugar/milk than tea. Likely a low/culinary grade matcha that can't quite come through in flavor. The menu was small at the time but covers the basic types of expected drinks for a boba place. The staff was nice and friendly but jeezes were they ill prepared for their grand opening. I dont think they expected as much if a turn out maybe because it was a painfully slow experience. A little out of the way for me and given the drink I had not coming back. Will also say the other location by the Ranch 99 market is better in terms of my experience though I did get a different drink. I LOVE a good boba, so I was super excited to try Rapha when they first opened. They did NOT disappoint! The only thing better than my Thai Tea was the service. The entire staff was really friendly, and the manager even came to introduce herself and check in on us.
