This is a boba staple place where there is a huge variety of drinks from coffee to matcha to teas to smoothies to slushies. I've been here coming here for over the past 10 years or so and they are consistent. I'm not into the boba but I like the drinks like the usual milk tea, jasmine milk tea, winter melon, and mango to name a few. They did a recent update for their interiors with merchandise so it looks more upscale and clean. I love their surprise series where you get a drink where you get a blind cup for Sanrio character plushies for example. They have a couple claw machines. They also have a self order kiosk for you to optionally order your own drinks or snack food. Fun little place to hang out. A few small tables are outside as well. Will be back again! read more

Wanted (needed) some boba and I was in the area. There are so many places to choose from but I saw this one next to Lee Lee's and stopped by. There was another pair in the shop and the bobaista was welcoming and friendly. I decided to get the sea salt Vietnamese coffee with boba, regular size (16oz). I wanted to get a large but the gal said they only do the smaller size because of the caffeine content. Fair enough! The drink was delicious: loved the salty foam on the top and the coffee was tasty as always. The boba was chewy and cooked well. Price was comparable to other boba spots: $5.99 plus $0.75 for boba. Would come back when in the area to try other drinks, and maybe some food! read more

Great drink options! I love ordering from the milk tea, az refreshers, or blended or more lists! My favorite appetizer is the fried tofu. They let you choose the spice level and if you're unsure, they can have the spice in a separate container so you can customize it per person in your group. My kids favorite is their fries. They currently have a mystery hello kitty cup! So cute! read more

As Beyoncé asks/sings, "Who run the world? Girls!" Did you know that in America, women were not only ideal tea room consumers, nearly all tea rooms were owned by women? Yasss, queens! Boba Tea House was once *THE SPOT* for all boba tea lovers. Hey, it was the early 2000s and we didn't get the bubble tea boom yet that has taken over the past few years. Boba Tea House came in and brought us some joy after Eba (the OG boba spot) left us. I only ever get one thing here: Lavender milk tea with egg pudding. It's always solid but the past couple of times, I've ventured out and tried the brulee coffee and their ube coffee. Their coffee is solid as well. Get a little snack of popcorn chicken and you won't be disappointed. While still a great spot that's an absolute treat after grocery shopping at Lee Lee's or after getting dim sum at Phoenix Palace in the same plaza, I must confess that there are other boba spots in time I'd rather go to. I came here for a meet up recently and was welcomed by a friendly employee upon entering. I really like how the menu easily shows all of the options and toppings and flavors. It was easy to find what I would like since I usually just get a tea with flavor with Boba. I really like how the interior looks. It is modern and inviting. While we have been patronizing this place for years, I have noticed a change in the service the last few visits. They seem to be out of items on their menu a lot. This last time it was lychee jelly. So this is the reason they lose a star. The menu is extensive. Lots to choose from and they are frequently updating the flavors. The place is pretty clean and it is conveniently located in a plaza with all things Asian like the international market and our favorite dim sum place. I always enjoy our boba from here and we will certainly be back again in the future. read more

I love coming here after eating dim sum at Phoenix Palace. The menu is extensive so it's nice to pick depending on my mood. Service is always great and because we are near the holidays, it's nicely decorated in Christmas spirit. My husband even won a hello kitty keychain from the game they have inside! I've been searching for a boba place with good quality, warm boba balls, good tea, a cute interior, for a good price and I have finally found it! This Boba Tea House has such a cute interior when you walk in that feels cozy. There are a couple places to sit indoors to chat. I got the taro milk tea with boba (my go-to, basic order) and was pleasantly surprised. It's pretty easy to nail the taro, but I was impressed because the boba balls weren't too hard. They were the perfect consistency (chewy, soft, sugary). I was also impressed by the price and quickness of the service. I think it was around $5, so great compared to other boba spots around the valley. I'll be back! read more

I ordered a large iced milk tea with boba, not too much ice and 25% sugar. Milk tea tasted watered down, not even milky at all, with a bitterness and no sweetness at all. Boba was fine, chewy as expected. Was not an enjoyable drink. While conveniently located next to Lee Lee supermarket, I will not be returning here as so many other boba choices in the Valley. You only get one chance to make a first impression especially when the competition is stiff. read more

I cannot say no to sweet drinks! Lol. It's been years since I last gotten something from here. I usually go to a different spot but I had to when I got this flyer the mail. BOGO on certain drinks (with coupon) til the end of August! On Monday night, I went to get the BOGO taro milk tea (no boba) to have for work on Tues & Wed. Then Wed evening, I was back to get the BOGO wintermelon tea. For this, you can choose from green, black or oolong tea. Loved that you can choose the type of tea you want! I chose oolong but black would be good as well. You can use the coupons for any sized cup you want. I chose the largest. The only downfall is you can't mix the type of drinks. They have to be the same. Service was good. Interior has changed a tad but it's cute. Still not my #1 spot but it's not a bad spot either! read more

The interior is modern with limited seating and danceable music. There are snacks like fried tofu, popcorn chicken, and other dishes. I have not tried the food, but I have had their boba tea. The Thai Tea is a bit watery but the flavor is there. Their Mangoyada is excellent. Other options include classic milk teas, slushies, smoothies, and signature flavored teas. The boba here isn't bad! This is a shop next to Lee Lee's in Chandler, and plenty of parking is available in the vast lot. There's a wide selection of drinks and snacks available on the menu. I ordered the jasmine green milk tea with boba (which you can adjust the sugar and ice level of!) and the spicy popcorn chicken. My food + drink came out within 5-10 minutes. My drink was ok -- the boba was sweet and chewy, which I liked, and the tea had the perfume-y taste of jasmine. I couldn't place my finger on it, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the milk tea taste -- perhaps it's the tea they used. As for the popcorn chicken, the portion size was on the smaller size, but otherwise it was tasty, well-coated with potato starch, and had just the right amount of spice. To be honest, it was the second best popcorn chicken that I've tried in the Valley so far. To summarize, I would not mind stopping by this shop if I'm in the area, especially to get some of the popcorn chicken. read more

What a gem! It's hot in Az and they make cold drinks- what's not to love! You order at the counter and get your number. They make your drink in about 5 minutes. I've tried various milk teas, fruit slushes and fruit teas all have quenched my thirst. You can mix the flavors as well. Mango strawberry is popular in my house. read more

Staff greets you warmly as soon as walk in the door. It's a pretty good sized room with a few tables strewn around, I'm thinking most people run in and grab and go. But it's nice that you could meet up with friends for a chat and a snack. Don't be fooled, this is not just boba! They have all the normal boba, teas and slushies plus more. Tasty snacks like popcorn chicken and fried calamari to sweet potato fries or squid balls. And all their snacks are under $6.00. Very disappointed. This is the third time they did not make my order the way I ordered. $34 plus tips! I ordered three salted creamy coffee, lite ice, extra sweet. All came with lots of ice, not sweet and not much salted cream. When they put so much ice there is no room for salted cream. I stood by the counter and keep reminding them lite ice, extra sweet they looked over and tell me yes. What's wrong with those girls? Is it so freaken hard to make a drink the way customer ordered? Two taro boba slushy was so thick and not sweet either. Not once, not twice, this is third time. I drove 25 minutes to get these drinks very disappointed. Never come across people who have a hard time making drinks they way I ordered. read more

Our quest to find the good boba places in Arizona landed us here. We came around 8pm and there was nobody here. We ordered a Green Tea and the Original Milk Tea with boba for the drinks and a popcorn chicken for a snack. It took a few minutes before our drinks were ready. The Green Tea was good to me and had the tea flavor. The original milk tea with boba tasted good and like how most milk tea places should taste like even though that was usually not the case. A few more minutes later and our popcorn chicken was ready. We got mild so it was just a tiny bit spicy. They gave us sweet chili sauce which probably wasn't needed in my opinion. The popcorn chicken was not bad though and the portion was small enough for one person. Good drinks and good snacks at Boba Tea House. I will probably be back to try other things on the menu. read more

There are a lot of boba options around the valley and Chandler these days so I have to be a little more picky. Boba Tea House is great - the drinks are cheaper than some other places so I give top marks on value. I judge a boba place based on the quality of the standard milk tea with boba, usually 25%-50% sweetness. The tea was good, I could actually taste the black tea. The boba lacked some flavor and the texture was not super firm. I have a few other go-tos options for consistently good milk tea. read more

The food and drinks are always excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I always go for the popcorn chicken--it's the closest I've found to the authentic Taiwanese flavor. Only when they add basil does it truly capture the essence of Taiwanese street food--the classic salt and pepper "Yen Su Ji" chicken. read more

The inside is very clean and relaxing and is a very good place to meet friends or study. I've placed pickup orders more times than I can count, and have also met up with friends and studied there a few times. The drinks are all so amazing!! They also have options like lactose-free whole milk, oat milk, and 2%. The owner and staff are also always very friendly and always happy to help. Last July they had a banana pudding matcha that was really good (pictured here next to my usual pistachio matcha), and they have had a really good and unique variety of seasonal drinks in the past. I may sound like a broken record, but yes, they were wonderful. It is NOT a boba tea shop; it was, but no longer. Incidentally, if you come the "back" way, entering off Warner vs Dobson, the signage on the back side still says Ni Hao. :-) Since we've already visited them three times, I think it's pretty clear we would highly recommend their teas.

I had to park behind the building. The line was about 5-7 minutes long. I thought about getting a Bahn mi but have seen recent negative reviews- reviews even that they have failed the health inspection, so I decided against it. I ordered a small banana coffee which came out to ~$7. Although my order number was 10 behind the one that was being called, my drink was ready within a minute or two. I was expecting more of a cold foam but it is straight up banana PUDDING lol. So of course banana pudding on Vietnamese coffee is delicious! It mixed well; no clumps.

It came with tomato, lettuce, pickle, and onion versus this one which was pretty plain. Between it being fairly lackluster with toppings, the temperature on the cook deterred me from enjoying. Overall, I wasn't impressed with my food and was also disappointed this location doesn't offer cheesecake like the one in Jacksonville did. Perhaps this was a seasonal item, and I hope that it becomes a staple on all J. Alexander's nationwide as that cheesecake was DIVINE.
