Hey a Boba Shop in AJ is a step up, as someone who lives on the border of AJ and Mesa, I usually have to go into Gilbert to get trendy drinks, so nice to have something closer. So I am a traditional Taro Milk tea gal. I have now been twice and the Taro is good. Like another reviewer the sweetness level is too much. Would love if they would offer a lower sweetness level like a lot of other Boba places do. Also I don't recommend the egg custard it is gritty. One of their specialty is the Cookies and Cream and I wouldn't order that again because the texture of cookies in liquid was not enjoyable and overly sweet. We walked in and said it was our first time here, but our daughters love it. Both people behind the counter were engaging and helpful - making suggestions and telling us about the different items. We both ended up with drinks altho my husband walked in saying NO. They did not disappoint . My mango smoothie was everything they promised and my husband's strawberry lemonade pleased him past believing. As we walked in, a group of 5 or 6 people began to leave. Clearly they were friends with the guy behind the counter (owner?) As we waited for my smoothie, someone else came in and asked for "his regular." I got a mango jasmine tea with honey boba and he got his usual, a blended tarp with boba. Both of them were tasty and made well. For an added touch, they had a few games to play, including a Pac-Man arcade. My favorite was seeing boba bingo. What a cute game. Stopped in quickly for a cool drink on a hot AZ summer afternoon with my bestie, Diele K. The Boba Shack has super cute vibes and is located in a strip mall area with lots of parking. There were photo opportunities along with board games to keep you entertained during your visit. The staff member that helped was very helpful and patient while I tried to decide what I wanted. I went with the vanilla chai. It was very good but did not have a lot of spice flavor (probably given it was vanilla)! Will definitely have to stop by again when wanting a tasty beverage! read more

Milk Tea and Boba has been something I recently have tried thanks to a Yelp event, and have been loving finding my perfect combination. I was thrilled to find out a location only a little over a mile from my house opened up! I love to support local Apache Junction businesses and was excited to try this one. I've been several times in the last week, and love the staff as they have been very friendly! They do an amazing job reminding patrons to put in their phone number for points as I'm not always great at remembering. Also, they have been great at recommending things as one suggested the honey boba & it's amazing! Though I've been on a winter melon black milk tea kick, I'm sure I'll try another tasty tea soon! This location may be quaint, but it's packed with fun and a beautiful wall to snap that Yelp/Instagram worthy photo! Be sure to shop local and support this new business in town. read more

This place is conveniently located next to Allied Cash Advance so you can take out a loan for all the boba you'll be buying here. Then you can walk (or roll) yourself to the health clinic next door after you fall into a diabetic coma. FYI you can adjust the sugar (and ice) level to prevent this from happening. I ordered the Matcha with boba for me and Wintermelon Green Tea with lychee for my wife. Jk they were both for me. Hopefully a fitness center opens up next door. I have officially found my new favorite boba shop! I stumbled upon Boba Shack a few weeks ago when I was looking for a treat while on this side of town. When my partner and I walked in we were greeted by the owner who is super friendly. On our first visit I ordered a honeydew slush and my partner ordered a thai tea and they were both amazing. I've been back a few times since to pick up a Thai tea which they brew to absolute perfection. They are also super consistent, each time I've visited it is the same delicious and creamy taste that I loved since our very first visit. Quick service. Passion Dragon slush has a good flavor; the green tea with some bitterness paired well with the sweet passion fruit /dragon fruit flavoring. However, the sweetness level was too off the charts for me. Soooo sweet and there wasn't an option to decrease the sweetness. Almost couldn't finish it because the sweetness level was quite over powering. If they fixed this, would definitely be a 5/5 boba shop. read more

Boba Shack is a welcome addition to this retail strip in Apache Junction. Our area is really lacking in eateries, especially those that are a little less vanilla than this mostly transient/seasona community has traditionally housed. When you go inside, it's very sterile. There isn't much to look at... strike that... there isn't anything to look at. There's no decor- there are metal tables and chairs and the service counter. The bubble pop tunes playing very loudly or a little much for me, but given the youth of the staff, I completely get their demographic. I did enjoy looking over the counter at the myriad boba types displayed like different ice creams at a soda fountain. I can't wait to try them all! Mr P and I went in to check it out and get a drink. Unfortunately, their digital menu boards turned off right when we were trying to decide. But the gal turned them back on eventually and he decided on a mango Jasmine tea, less sweet, with honey boba. The tea was perfect, and the honey boba was delicious. I really enjoyed his drink and almost stole it. They were out of Vietnamese coffee, which is my favorite. I was going to opt for my second normal choice of Thai tea, but instead decided to go with makers choice. I opted for the strawberry shortcake with honey boba. I'll tell you what- this was definitely delicious, and tasted just like a strawberry shortcake. Cream, strawberry, blonde oreo...a bunch of treats in this one. But this drink was a dessert in a cup. I could only take a few overwhelmingly sweet sips and had to put the rest in the fridge for later. Trust me though...later will be sooner! I have seen some reviews talk about an extremely high price for these drinks. Knowing what I usually spend on boba, I think it's on par with other boba shops. They also have the Clover rewards program, which is great if you stop in for tea a lot, which we do... which we will now especially that we know that they are open for business! Definitely give this new local spot a try and show them some love! read more

Great atmosphere, friendly service -- especially the owners. Some of the younger workers aren't always as outgoing / friendly. I've been just before close and they will serve drinks until customers are gone -- rare to find great service like that these days! The drinks are fabulous.
