This location is always typically busy on the weekends. It is quite small inside so stay away during their busy times or you'll be rubbing up against people that are sitting, waiting for their drinks, and those who are in line. The employees are usually friendly and drinks are made quickly. Thera a few tables inside and outside to sit at. Perfect spot to stop at if you are running around thirsty while shopping! read more

A great choice for Bobba Tea. So many options to choose from and I felt like this place had so many unique options as compared with most other Bobba tea options. A ton of fun fruit Bobba choices. Store is also well decorated and has some photo ops. The only downside was that the line was quite long and for being my first time at the store the employees did not have much patience when I had a few questions before ordering. read more

This is located in the Scottsdale quarter. We love boba and this was one we hadn't tried before. It's a cute spot. There menu is very specific and lots to choose from. We had a couple of questions on even a few of the items since we hadn't seen those combinations before. I got the usual taro, it was a bit subdued in the flavor section, in comparison to all the others I've had. However, all three of my family's were absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back and try more of the flavor combinations that sounded so good. read more

Been here a couple times and I thought was at least 3 star worthy but this last time I went I am definitely not coming back. Here's my story. Drove my friend to Lane Bryant and when she got done I suggested we go to Bubble Bee to get our boba on. As we got there, they were pretty busy which was not a surprise for a saturday afternoon. I got my usual large strawberry green tea with boba and my friend wanted to try one of their chai tea drinks with boba. We got our drinks and as soon as we got into the car we have to deal with the usual annoying design of the cup that is not cup holder friendly so basically you have to hold on to your drink the whole time with one hand. That was always a given which we tend to overlook just so we can enjoy our drinks. Only this day was the worst. First of all, they hardly put any boba in our drinks. Second of all, there was way more ice than usual. Lastly, both our drinks were bland. Hardly any flavor. We were so disappointed that we ended up going to another boba place to make up for the 12 dollars we wasted. So that's it for us. I love Bubble Bee! I actually learned about them during a Yelp Elite Squad event and enjoyed it so much that I decided to come back and buy a drink. The BFF - During Valentine's weekend they had heart shaped jelly. Super cute! Kiwi bubbles were the right amount of tart. Very refreshing drink! I wish I could remember which drink we got at the Yelp event as I'd love to get it again! read more

While out and about shopping with my daughter we were looking for a place to stop in for a few cold drinks. It was super hot today and we decided some boba sounded great. The location is small, but bright and colorful. They even have a cute little Instagram photo prop area. I love all things yellow so they got me there with the chairs and walls. It's such a happy color right? Anyways, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and since we had never been the sweet girl at the counter gave us one options based on the flavors etc we liked or what we were in the mood for. I decided to get the Cali Girl with Strawberry popping boba. It came blended and it was refreshing and delicious. My daughter got the Enchanted Chai which was also so good. I typically hate chai, but this was so flavorful and creamy; iced as well. After we got a few pics a d cooled down a bit we were in our way. read more

Not too many boba/bubble tea places in this part of the Valley. Prices are a bit higher compared to others in the Valley, a punch/loyalty card program would make my visits more frequent. The employees have always been friendly. Though sometimes they are too generous with ice or stingy with boba. read more

Such a cute spot at San Tan Mall! The shop is quite small so whenever I am there the line usually goes to the door and you're stuck shuffling around people. Their drinks are good, average price of $5-$8. The wait; however, getting through a long line takes about 15-20 minutes. I recommend stopping by if you're not in a hurry. read more

Bubble Bee in the summer time can be a bit of a nightmare with a bunch of kids crammed up at this place. The seating area is also pretty messy as well as the order pick up section. It's so busy they barely have time to clean. Aside from all that I have to say the drinks are really refreshing. I enjoyed the strawberry horchata but my favorite so far is the glamorous drink. I just wish they had more room to enjoy our drinks inside. On the bright side your drinks are sealed off with plastic so that you can make the trip home and not spill anything. Would I come again? Only if I happened to be in the area. read more

Half-fast blending job. There were CHUNKS of ice in my King Taro drink. First time ordering here and probably my last based off of the quality of our drinks. All these establishments are so caught up in the social media "post-able" aspect of their products that they let quality slip. Not worth it, go somewhere else. read more

A bit surprised that AZ actually had a good tasting boba spot as CA kills the game with all of our shops. Bubble Bee has such a great menu and prolly took me about 10 full min of standing their in line to figure out what I wanted to order. I ended up ordering the passion fruit or many fruit tea with the lychee jelly and the popping boba it came with. Totally took me by surprise how good the drinks are! Looks like I've officially have my new boba spot when I come in town to visit. :) read more

I have no idea how this place was busy. We are new to the area and wanted to have some bubble tea so we drove to this location. The line was long and the wait was around 20 minutes + on a Wednesday arvo so I figured that it would be decent. Nopeeeeeeee. It's been awhile since I've had terrible bubble tea and this is going down as one of those experiences. We ordered a Queen Taro and a Matchacha tea and it was so watered down. Watered down so much that you could barely taste the flavor. The pearls/boba were harder and definitely not fresh for an establishment that is busy. If you enjoy boba tea and are an experienced boba tea explorer, don't come here. read more

We decided to explore our taste buds so we came in Saturday afternoon sure was very busy but didn't wait to long. I love the FIRST DATE because I'm a green tea lover! So refreshing! Placed an order online and arrived about 40 minutes later. When I checked in they couldn't find my order, but once they did the order was not ready. They did make it priority and whipped the drinks up quickly and I only had to wait 5 minutes or so. I was holding 6 drinks that they place in bags. As I was walking the drinks hit together and one of them cracked since it is plastic and it was spilling everywhere. I took it back and the girl was very nice and remade the drink quickly. I cannot remember the name of my drink, but it was really good. I added regular boba. The only thing I didn't know was it came with popping boba and I did not see that included in the drink. Im not much of a fan so I would order without that next time. Definitely will be back! read more

Six bucks. Wow. The two dollar smoothies at Bosa Donuts taste exactly the same...probably use the same cheap powdered ingredients. The supposedly "organic honey" tapioca balls--the place's namesake--are actually completely flavorless. They serve it in a bowl instead of a cup so you look like a clown walking around the mall. Absolutely no reason to serve it in a bowl. I'm assuming this place's repeat customers and good reviews are from people who have never had a boba tea before. Please try others. There's better and cheaper options. read more

During my day in the east valley, the boba urge hit me so I found the nearest and decently reviewed boba place. The results: Bubble Bee! First, I love the name. Very clever! They advertise that they are the only boba shop in AZ that uses organic tea leaves, which I appreciate. For whatever reason, I thought whatever I ordered would be overly sweet so I ensured to the cashier that I wanted a minimal amount of sweetness, which they were able to deliver. I opted for the original milk tea, which comprised of oolong tea, creamer and brown sugar with boba. There are two sizes for each drinks: fat and baby fat. I ordered the fat size, which comes in an unconventional shape cup but it's cute for pictures. The total with tax came out to 5.59. Before tax, the baby fat is 4.69. For my taste, the boba was too creamy. The boba wasn't the best in terms of texture. It was a bit hard and not that chewy. Overall, I thought it was alright. I would give this place another try if I was in the area. For the cost, location and end product, it's doesn't make it on the list of my personal favorite boba places in the valley. But for the location and convenience, I would go back if the boba urge strikes again! read more

I am a Boba lover! My family and I love going to this place They have multiple locations across the valley but I always get mine from their Gilbert location in SanTan Village Mall! This local organic tea shop specializes in Honey Boba, Loose-Leaf Tea, Juices, Smoothies, and so much more! Even my kids love it! My favorite drink is called Glamorous, and I get it with extra peach poppers and strawberry jelly! I also tried The Hulk & Goldilocks, which were also great, but I alway go back to Glamorous! My first Bubble Bee taste was from the Celebration of Yelp 15th Birthday held here in San Tan Mall. It was a part of their promotional sample along with another cup full of stickers and a keychain and of off course a small Peachy Lychee and Papa Guava. I love the combination of the mixed flavors and the bubble poppers popping in my mouth, bursting with little amount of fruit juice. The customer service provided me with some information about their Organic Tea-based blended, fruity and creamy drinks. You can customize your add-on with any of these delicious natural honey boba, fruity poppers or jellies. A little bit more pricey than any other regular boba shop, but it might be, because of their organic tea-based. The size are inconveniently irregular, so it does not fit in any cup holder I have in my vehicle. I am impressed with the generosity giving to Yelp Elite members and I enjoyed my refreshment while walking around. Thank you and I'll definitely come back to try other drinks from here. read more

This here is Kylee! She had the most worst attitude with me today and every day I come in..Kylee took my order and made it . She first made it frozen and then when confronted about it being made incorrectly she had an attitude and tossed the already made drink . Turned her back against me and had a nasty attitude towards me for requesting the drink be remade. After the drink was made correctly she took my drink and threw it at me. This is beyond upsetting to me speaking I have been coming here for years .. Being assaulted by having a drink thrown at me is crazy. Will not be back . read more

Queen Taro: didn't really taste anything like taro and I just didn't really like it High Thai: nephew said it was ok Both were ordered with the coffee jelly as they ran out of boba...meh... I thought it was cool that it wasn't in your normal cup, but it's actually awkward after a while when you're trying to hold it & it doesn't fit inside any cup holder if you're on a car ride. read more

DONT GO HERE!! Waste of time and money!! There was only one person working here when I went in. My drink does NOT taste good at all. I unfortunately have to dump it out. My drink taste like water and plastic. The boba tastes old. I will never come back! I only came because my go-to boba spot DaYung is closed on Tuesdays. The location sucks too! I was so looking forward to like this place and make it my go to boba place but it just didn't meet the expectation. The place is conveniently located around the corner of Macy's at the SanTan mall. The place is trendy and cute. But that is all it is about. We went with enchanted chai with honey boba and mango all the way with jelly. The chai was just alright and being a regular boba drinker, I could tell easily that the boba wasn't fresh and the drink said honey boba and they served it with a regular boba. Mango all the way was much better but it wasn't the best yet. They do not have the sugar customization option which other places are offering these days. The service wasn't that great either and though the store wasn't very busy there was hardly any greetings when we entered or exited the store. One could get some refreshing drinks but not boba. Please stick to jelly or something else. The price is average for the size and the cups are fancy. Wouldn't be visiting anytime soon though. read more

Closest boba spot to me so I've tried a few times, been disappointed every visit. Boba is either over cooked or Rock hard. I think I got the king taro both times & both times very watery. Do not recommend. The workers are friendly and helpful though. Only reason I'm giving it two stars. read more

I loved the aesthetic of the place coming in. The concept was also really interesting. It's apparently the first loose leaf tea place in Arizona. The menu also has really cute names for the drinks like "Cloud 9" and "Love Story." But that's honestly about it. I wanted a milk tea with a green tea base coming in. I asked the employees what they would recommend for that preference and I ended up with a strawberry smoothie looking drink. The menu was also slightly confusing in terms of their classification of the drinks between the two creamy sections. I think some of the titles are kind of misleading especially when you look at the actual ingredients. I ended up getting the Love Story, it's not bad, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. The boba was just hard and didn't have much flavor. But the Strawberry Bursters are pretty good. Good place to take pictures, cool concept. read more

I was running on empty when I saw on their menu a chilled beverage with chocolate, taro, black tea, and boba. The cashier confirmed that the Dark Matter was a great option for taro lovers like me, and I was not disappointed. The texture was similar to a milkshake or a frappe. My kiddos very much enjoy the boba tea that they get from Bubble Bee, pretty much any time we are at San Tan Village. The establishment itself is clean and comfortable, although it can get quite crowded...it's not a very large space. The people are friendly and the product itself is good. They move pretty quickly once you've placed your order - so no real complaints. All is good! read more

I got the King Taro with honey boba from Bubble Bee because I was looking to try out a new boba spot in Gilbert! The drink is supposed to be black tea, taro, and coconut but I can only taste the taro flavor. I was a little disappointed at this because I was excited to try a taro with coconut drink! In addition, I did not enjoy the honey boba because I could tell the boba was old since it was rock hard. It's like when you refrigerate your boba overnight and the boba hardens. I might give this place another try with a different drink but sadly, I was not satisfied with my initial experience :( read more

I've been here many times and finally decided to add a review. Some of the specialty drinks are a wee too sweet however the High Thai was just right. I suppose you could ask for half the regular sugar content. I enjoy the variety of drink combos that Bubble Bee offers for the many pallets! I'll mostly likely come back again for a cool drink during the hot summers. read more

Ordered a French cappuccino last night. It was cold and had very little expresso. The young person reheated it but it was flat and had no forth. It was mostly warm milk with light coffee flavoring. Don't waste your money getting coffee there. read more

The smoothie was $10 which is higher than I've paid in the past at places like Robek's and Jamba Juice. It was very well blended and smooth going down with a sweeter taste from the pineapple and mango. I can tell they used higher quality ingredients but since they blend it in the back I couldn't actually see the amount of fruit and veggies used. Overall, it was a nice experience and treat but not something I'd go out of my way to experience very often.

Wow, this place is everything you can ask for in a boba tea shop. I have been to many boba tea shop. But this shop has the most selection of poppers and jelly, they have lychee and peach poppers, which are my favor. The boba was cooked the right point, not too hard not too soft. and they use natural honey to make the boba too. Try King Taro or Queen Taro if you like taro. They have all drink with these weird name and it can take several visit to understand them all. Good thing is the employees are very helpful and explain the menu. They give out samples at the counter, just ask for it. Their cup is cool too, a "fat" cup than the regular cup. The employee told me it hold more, is 26oz vs 24oz for regular large size cup.
