I've been here a handful of times and it's always delicious! They make their boba from organic honey, so what's not to love?! Perhaps it's the reason why the boba there is so good?! This time I tried Taro Queen with 'Panda Style' boba. 'Panda Style boba here means both the dark colored boba we all know and love, made from organic honey at Bubble Bee, and white vanilla boba. You might be able to see both in the photo attached. This is the first time I've ever had Taro anything and I was surprised that I liked it as much as I did. Taro is essentially the Sweet Potato of Asia. It's naturally sweet but also has an earthy flavor like roots usually do, I enjoyed the flavor since it balanced the sweet side well. The purple color of Taro was also fun! It was a successful boba tea for sure! read more

I had a delicious iced Thai Milk tea with honey boba delivered. It was creamy and the boba is soft and chewy. In my picture I have drank quite a bit, I couldn't stop. The packaging was super cute and the price was decent! Can't wait to try more flavors. read more

If you're looking for boba that's not too sweet, I'd recommend Bubble Bee. They use honey to sweeten their drinks and it's just the right amount of sweetness. The cup design is not necessarily unique, but it is different. It's a lot to hold and I a lot more than I'd thought it would be. It wouldn't be my first place to go to if I was in the area, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't think about it as an option. read more

This is a cute boba tea place. The place is clean and everyone was wearing their face mask while making the drinks. There are no places to sit inside so you'll have to just order takeout or pickup. The drink itself is average for the price ~$4.5-5.5. I got the crave fruity drink and it had the perfect sweet and tarty balance and is refreshing to drink. The cup is cute but not practical and it's hard to hold esp if you're trying to walk around with it. read more

The customer service is great. The girls working there were really friendly. I order a drink they recommend when I told them I like honey. I did sub out tea in my boba and got honey boba beads. The drink it self was refreshing but it did lack flavor. Maybe it was my fault for subbing the tea? Either way it was good enough to go back and try another flavor. I like their cute fat cup but they're just not ideal to hold and I had to tip my cup to the side to get the remainder of my drink and I tore open the lid to get the rest of my beads. Again, not a biggie just a few more steps to enjoy my drink. Haha. Also I didn't fit in my cup holder. Ha I liked it and will go back to try a flavor I like more. read more

Really cute place. Portion sizes were bigger than I expected and a little more $ than I was expecting as well, but it is really a nice place. There are a lot of drinks to choose from. I tried the Snow Bowl which is Almond/Vanilla Bean/Black Tea with the boba. Very mild, but good. I am looking forward to trying other things. My only negative is the design layout of the ordering. You walk in and order at the other end of the counter. It was pretty crowded when we went, so it was a bit confusing where to go. Overall though the customer service was good and I like their product. Excited to try some more things! read more

One of the better places of all in Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler and Gilbert to get Boba. Reminds me of Half and Half Boba in So Cal with the large wide cups that don't fit in the cup holders in your car. Located in San Tan Shopping Center close to Johnny Rockets, It is a nice clean shop that does not have the look of a plain boba shop but they deliver a great product worthy of most So Cal Boba places. Had the Milk Tea Boba and the Strawberry Slush with small tapioca which both were very good. The Strawberry Slush tapioca was almost too much but were pretty good, will try it next time without the tapioca to see the difference. We live in North Scottsdale where there is no Boba places but the drive to San Tan Village Shopping Center is quite the drive of almost an hour, hopefully they will open one up in North Scottsdale which we would visit quite often. read more

Their flavor combos are amazing, and the vibes are pretty good in the shop. My only complaints are that the full menu isn't available in doordash so it is limited if I want to order it and pick it up - but no big deal. The other things is that the customer service is lacking. They're not rude, they're just not friendly, and I'm used to more friendliness from boba places. I tend to buy from boba cutea instead because of this, even though bubble bee's honey boba is objectively superior in flavor. read more

Enjoying our first Boba Milk Tea from BubbleBee. Very delicious and refreshing on a hot day. We got ours with the "barely sweet" option and it was still really good. Staff was OK, they were really quick getting our drink. We got the smallest size, cost $5. Next time I'll probably ask for lighter ice because it felt like we should of got a little bit more for the price. Overall, pretty satisfied. We'll be back. read more

I am highly unsatisfied with today's service from Zoey. If that's even her name. I would consider myself a regular at this spot. My favorite drink Is the "Apes escape". I normally get a fat cup split 2 ways, one for me and one for my daughter. Today I was told out of the many times I ordered this way that I was not allowed to do that. Second her attitude was highly offensive considering I now had to order 2 separate drinks for a total of 12$ and change. Third she did such a horrible job at making my drinks. You can clearly see the ice is not blended and also watery. I don't know if I'm going to come back here. Last visit. No social distancing enforced, packed with waiting customers. Understaffed and always run out of boba, their main item on the menu. Ignore customers when placing orders and it's packed. Postmates and DoorDash orders are prioritized. Expect a 30+ minute wait. Don't bother on the weekends. Also ordered a large got smalls. $20+ on 3 drinks. read more

Came in today (11/3) at 3:15. Got the king taro, cloud 9, and high Thai (blended). The kind taro was bland. Cloud 9 was meh and tasted like condensed milk with peach. The blended high Thai melted instantly lol. I was satisfied with the drinks, because you get a lot. Their boba itself was really good. My issue is with the girl that rang us up. She was maybe 5'4, had on large glasses, and had her hair in braided pigtails. My mom & I ordered drinks, then added a third one. She acted like it was the BIGGEST chore in her LIFE! She rolled her eyes and said "And is that it? Is that all of it?". She was so fucking rude and shouldn't be allowed to ring up customers. All the other staff were friendly and cheerful except for her. read more

Story time I work here. We are severely underpaid at a whopping 11$. Our boss is completely homophobic despite our entire staff being in lgbtq+ community we are over worked and our boba isn't even that good. Boba is mid. Our drinks are mid. Ordered a Thai Tea with boba. It was tasty & the honey boba was a nice change to the normal boba other places use. The employees were friendly. The cafe was clean. My only issue is the shape of the cups. They don't fit in the cup holder. It's a cute idea but not practical. read more

I guess this place changed names because I thought it was the Fat Straw. As far as bubble teas go, I have definitely experienced better. My experience in AZ is that these taiwanese fun drinks are either watered down or made from powdered ingredients. Bubble Bee was no different. Cute cups, lots of choices, but no flavor in the drinks. I have tried matcha, taro and coconut milk teas and was disappointed every time hoping the problem was the person making the drink. The recipes seem to be the problem. read more

I'm not sure if it's under new management, when I first would go here in summer of 2015 everything was great! Every single time I go here I need to add 2-3 extra scoops of boba, not too sure how much it cost... .39 cents or so. I literally need to stand there and watch them scoop these bobas into my cup. The scoops are always half spoon full. The excuse is "we are running low"... You're a boba tea store, you should be in store before you open making sure you have boba... it's called PREP! In addition to being ripped off on my scoops, the tapioca is hard. Not sure if it's from the night before. They advertise that they make boba fresh everyday, I'm sure they do, but if you go in the morning it is definitely from the night before. Nothing is wrong with day old boba, but why is it hard??? Heat that baby up, add more honey and serve it up!!! To top it all off... customer service is horrible!!! Clearly everyone hates their jobs... read more

Sizes aren't that many oz's and the cups were mostly filled with ice. Not sure if there were dairy free options for the Thai tea; it was good but my tummy hurt after. It's a bit of a wait when slower, but jam packed on weekends. Not ample seating if you're going there to sit down. read more

I am in LOVE with this bubble boba tea. I've tried the chai tea and the strawberries and cream. I could drink this every day! Expensive, but a nice weekend treat. Place is always packed busy, but the store itself is super small which is uncomfortable in these covid times. Also super loud in there with the blenders so it's hard to hear yourself think (San tan mall location). Other than that, it's 5 stars for flavor combinations and creativity! read more

Bubble Bee has a very wide range of drinks, from fruity drinks to creamy drinks, you have choices for just about anyone. You can create a custom drink, and select poppers and boba. I personally recommend the Cali Girl, it has a good balance of sweetness, it's a tad sweeter than most drinks but it's great. People there are nice, but there can be a long line sometimes. The wait is worth it by far! read more

Update: 06/22/2019 As always, we ordered our usual drinks, and this time we were told about an extra charge for ordering "light ice". Uh, we ask for light ice, because we don't want to pay $5-$6 for mostly a cup of ice. That's a horrible business practice. Period. It's not the girls fault, although her customer service, delivery of the message, wasn't very apologetic about the greedy up-charge. Almost gave a 2-Star, but it's the first time -- we've been most happy with this place. We will give it another chance, and see if this new business greed continues, or if they drop the nickel and dime-ing of their customers. Original review: We come quite a bit to this location, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Once in awhile the drinks are too sweet, even though we asked for half sweet. Today, was the first time we complained about the drinks -- had asked for half sweet and half ice, and they were super sweet with tons of ice. And, the boba was a bit hard (that's happened a few times lately). The girls working there were very accommodating and offered to remake the drinks. Overall very happy with this location. It gets super busy sometimes, but worth the wait! :) read more

If you're going to get Boba, I would say you probably shouldn't come here. They don't allow customizable by the place usually stinks and it's always too sweet. In my opinion. Of course this is just my personal opinion and you could try it out yourself, but there are in my opinion better places the staff are usually really meet like rude, and the place isn't very Visually pleasing read more

Wow, this place is everything you can ask for in a boba tea shop. I have been to many boba tea shop. But this shop has the most selection of poppers and jelly, they have lychee and peach poppers, which are my favor. The boba was cooked the right point, not too hard not too soft. and they use natural honey to make the boba too. Try King Taro or Queen Taro if you like taro. They have all drink with these weird name and it can take several visit to understand them all. Good thing is the employees are very helpful and explain the menu. They give out samples at the counter, just ask for it. Their cup is cool too, a "fat" cup than the regular cup. The employee told me it hold more, is 26oz vs 24oz for regular large size cup. very slim place. cool interior design. more importantly, the drinks are awesome. I consider it to be one of the best boba tea drink i had so far. they have many choices of fruity poppers or honey boba you can choose to go with your drink. The staff there was friendly too. They took time to explain the menu, and said welcome to fat straw every time i went in. I ordered an cloud 9 the other day, it was delicious. it is a good way to beat the summer heat here in the valley. The black Ceylon fresh tea had a strong tea flavor which I enjoyed, and added some honey because I like it. I tried the honeydew tea with black tea base last because I'm not a honeydew fan. It tasted just like honeydew, so flavor is spot on. Just not for me, though the black tea base gave it a nice aftertaste. As a boba fanatic, I would've loved some chewy pearls to try but you get what you get with TGTG. it was nice to be able to try so many different drinks at a discount, especially since I usually order milk teas so these were different.
