I was in the Cannon Beach development when a boba craving hit me. Having never been to It's Boba Time, I decided to give them a try. I was greeted upon entering. The space is bright and clean, and there's some seating inside. There's an electronic device on the counter to place your order. I ordered a strawberry matcha with boba, a frosty milk with strawberry, pudding and boba, and a coffee macaron. A staff member called out my order minutes later. Both drinks were good. It wasn't the best matcha, but it scratched the itch and the treats satisfied my sweet tooth. The macaron was just okay. read more

What happened to this place? It's so filthy for being a brand new location. Please do better, simply cleaning your windows make a huge difference. The walls had splashes of old spilled drinks, light strips peeling from underneath the counter, filthy tables and chairs, spilled drinks on the floor and straw wrappers. I'm shocked how customers conduct themselves but more so on It's Boba Time's employees. There just seems to be zero pride and lack of hygiene here. I love supporting local businesses but these are the big reasons why small businesses close. Easy fix guys, train your employees to clean! Unfortunately our drinks were super sweet. The last time we were here, this wasn't our experience. We were shocked by how fast this place went down hill. I hope this can be fixed soon. read more

I've been to this place 3 times now. I had ordered the same thing each time - Mango Cream Slush. The first two times were great even though some of the boba had hard middles. I liked how they incorporated the mango slush with cream and real mango chunks. However, after today I won't be back. I ordered the same thing, just a large this time. I couldn't taste mango at all. It tasted like watered down cream. The mango slush was almost non existent. I went back to the employees and let them know that it tastes like water and asked if they ran out of the mango slush mix? Instead of offering to make me a new one, she proceeded to explain that maybe they just added more cream this time and they didn't run out of mango slush and was pretty defensive. I believe in great customer service especially in a new place like Cannon Beach - because we need people to keep coming back to keep this great mixed use property afloat for us residents to enjoy. But when something goes this sour, I do want to call it out and hopefully help with training. It's a shame to lose one repeat customer over a bad drink and a sour customer service experience. read more

Stopped by here since we were already in the area. They were fairly busy when we got in but it didn't take that long to get our drinks. I appreciated the actual bits of strawberry in my strawberry matcha drink and that they offered milk alternatives. The only downside was the matcha to milk to strawberry ratio wasn't quite to my taste. It was heavily on the matcha side and overwhelmed the strawberry, so when I got home I added more oat milk and ice which helped a lot. My son said the same about his. After I added more milk and some sugar, he enjoyed his much more. So, just keep that in mind if you want to try this option. Again, that's to our taste. Some might really enjoy how far it leans with the matcha than us. It's a little small inside but has some seating. Would probably recommend it as a grab and go spot. read more

I wish I could have given more stars...we got here at 4:00pm on Sunday, after a long day at revel surf. We ordered 4 drinks- 2 milk teas and 2 slushes with boba. The drinks were pretty good. The boba was pretty good....but the poor girl working was by herself! We waited 40 min for our drinks, didn't walk out of there until 4:42....poor thing was alone and probably had about 8 orders she had to make by herself. I don't know what management was thinking but get some more help if you're gonna have a boba place next to a surf park. I'm not sure I'll be back based on this... read more

This place looks very fairly new and its nicely decorated inside. We stopped by during the week and it seemed that only one employee was working. He was towards the back making drinks when we walked in and didn't say anything to us. We placed our orders on the kiosk and we sat down. After a few minutes, our order was called. There was practically no interaction with the employee as he went back to making more drinks after setting our drinks on the counter. My milk tea was ok - nothing special. The thai tea was also pretty basic but it was also just ok. The menu selection is pretty big and they do have some good looking drinks. The inside was clean. There are a few spots to sit down and they have a bathroom as well. read more

This was our first time here and will for sure go back before we leave Mesa. They of course have the regular drinks you get at most Boba places, but they also have lots of unique drinks. The place was clean and modern looking, and the young ladies helps us were friendly and helpful. read more

This boba place was closer to us than majority of boba places in the valley and we found out about this since we also went to Hi5 Nails and Moku Hawaiian Grill next to this place. The first time we came here, I asked them when the grand opening was and they said they don't have one or planned to have one (but maybe that might change). They were all nice and definitely were trying to train which was fine. There was an app you can download and order online to pick up. It was clean and new inside and their menu has a lot of choices. We ordered the regular Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and large Classic Black Milk Tea with boba the first time we went here. They both tasted good to me and I would recommend either one. I tried the House Milk Tea on my most recent visit and I definitely would choose the Classic Black Milk Tea over the House Milk Tea. The boba was chewy and it was good to me. We definitely found a go-to boba place since this was probably like less than 10 minutes away from us. We'll be back for more boba in the future. read more

First time at Bobatime, I wish I could rave about it but nothing exceptional about it. I got the Taro milk tea and the mango peach smoothie. The taro milk tea was okay, I just didn't think the taro flavor was strong. I have to say the tapioca were actually decent. Soft Opening in East Mesa! We drove by this lovely shop and had to check it out because it's BOBA! I saw the cutest drink that has star shaped mango jelly and fun colors called Galaxy Iced Tea, it had to be mine. The drink is so flavorful and fun to drink, I recommend. They also have large 32oz drink sizes too which is great to see. We got the Peach Strawberry tea in this size. Go check them out during their soft opening and show them some love. read more

I regret that I cannot give a rating lower than one star!! This was our first visit to this establishment, and it will certainly be our last as well! While I understand they were busy when we first arrived, we stood at the register for approximately 10 minutes without so much as a greeting or acknowledgment from any of the two or three employees who clearly saw us. After finally placing our order, we continued to wait--20 minutes for just three drinks. When we politely inquired at the register about the status of our order, the response from one of the employees was shockingly unprofessional. Rather than offering an update or an apology, she approached us and began yelling at my mother, stating that asking about the drinks wouldn't make them come any faster. WHAT? It ultimately took 25 minutes to receive one tea and two smoothies--this, at a time when the store was no longer busy. The delay was disappointing, but the rudeness and hostility from the staff was beyond unacceptable. A simple apology would have gone a long way, but instead, we were met with disrespect. read more

I wanted to love this place, but I really don't and unfortunately that's based solely on the quality of the tea for the price. The space itself is beautiful and brand new and they have self serve kiosks. I ordered a mango green tea with jelly which was upwards of almost $8 and even with 25% sugar it tasted like pure syrup. They have a lot of fun non tea drinks with whipped cream and chocolate which will certainly appeal to kiddos going to the water park but I don't think I will return. All I have to say is whoever is responsible for this location whether you be a franchise owner or an actual owner of this company you need to go in there and spend some time during the weekends and every day at that and train these kids at what they're doing. They took like 15 minutes to make four Bobo's and one shaved eyes, and then he tried to hand it to me in a cup that was like impossible to eat. I had to tell him to put it in the bowl. The Bobo's are watered down, but not a lot of ice. It's like drinking hot milk. read more

No boba straws so that was fun getting boba stuck in my straw every time I took a drink. Milk shake was watery, smoothies had no taste and also watery. Just an awful experience, will not go back.
