    Ice cream :3

My friends and I stopped by mid-day for a little sweet treat and stumbled upon this ice cream shop that was nearby. Needless to say, Scoop and Joy did indeed fill us up with so much joy! As we walked in, we were greeted with the sweetest, delicious smells that resembled freshly baked waffle cones and the most whimsical interior, including delightful striped pink walls and teal booths. They had so many flavors to choose from and we sampled quite a few of them (all super good). We each got medium size cups (included 2 flavors because it was so hard to choose just one). I got a scoop of bear claws (dark chocolate ice cream swirled with a heavy caramel and loaded with chocolate-coated cashews) and the apple crisp (cinnamon-apple with oatmeal crisp and brown Betty swirl). We were asked if we wanted a surprise... and of course, we will never pass on a good surprise. They crafted us the most adorable ice cream scoops with faces on them! We think they resemble us perfectly... Just the most perfect fun little treat. We left happy and the service could not be better.

If there's one thing you do, get the carrot cake Ice cream here. Oh my god. Maybe the best tasting ice cream flavor I've ever had. Here for vacation and now we feel like we need to go back and try the banana pudding flavor bc if it's anything like the carrot cake one then I may never leave scoop and joy We got one scoop in cups and the serving was massive. My kids loved the cute little faces they made, too!

Originally we were looking for tasty baked goods. Their website boasted banana bread, cupcakes, brownies, cookies and cake slices! I understand that in the evening stock would be low but not wiped out. :( I thought, since we drove all the way to this quaint shoppe we may as well try ice cream instead. I went with a scoop of the "Bear Claw" ice cream for $4.63 in a cake cone .80. It had a unique combination of crunchy cashews and swirls of caramel in a rich dark chocolate ice cream. It wasn't the "Bear claw" Danish pastry but it was good!! TIP: if the servers ask if you want a surprise, say YES! You'll get a bonus "face" on your treat! Mine was made with marshmallows, chocolate chips, cereal and cookie pieces. I thought it was playful and fun!

This is not your typical run of the mill ice cream shop. They sell more than just ice cream and milkshakes. They also sell dole whip, smoothies, coffee, and boba beverages, alongside a small selection of baked goods. For their ice cream flavors, they offer a good selection of classic and unique flavors ranging from not too sweet to tooth achingly sweet. On this visit, we decided to get a small cup of raspberry rendezvous ice cream and a cup of the classic pineapple dole whip. Both were enjoyable and fulfilled our sweet tooth craving. The service was fast and efficient. They had plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors. Overall, not bad for a quaint little ice cream shop!

Cute ice cream shop with a variety of ice creams. We tried the pistachio, coffee, coconut and this turtle ice cream and it was the winner.

Some of the best hand dipped ice cream I've had. apparently sourced from Michigan Hudsonville Ice Cream. The owner happened to be working and was very friendly and made the experience even better. We stopped by after a cubs spring training game. it was a quick 3 min drive from the highway and well worth it! highly recommend this spot!

Best ice cream shop. Our kids loved the little characters the ice cream is decorated with. The ice cream was some of the best we've had. They have a great variety of flavors. Cones too, including Oreo crusted, lavender cones, birthday cake. Will have to try the baked goods. And the owner was the best part, very friendly. We'll be back!

This is a cute little intimate ice cream shop. They have a lot of different flavors. After tasting them all we got 3 scoops of one of the coconut, peanut butter, and one of the coffee-based creations. The two girls working there are friendly and nice. They also make the scoops into a "surprise" which is a little creation they do with different toppings. I would visit again.

Tl;dr one of the best ice creams in the Valley. Really inspiring flavors and super friendly to boot. I'm gonna be honest, the first time I had it wasn't sure what to think, remember the macapuno being solid. But after having had much more ice cream around the US, these guys are up there. A wide variety of flavors but also some more adventurous ones, a lot with an Asian palate. When I saw them years ago they did just ice cream, milk shakes, the like. Now they got baked goods like cakes, boba tea, hell they even got Dole Whip! Literally something for every palate, and with plenty of vegan options likely every diet too. Some of my faves include the Lemon Creamsicle and the Cookie Monster. This lot is packed but really fun for the whole family - if they ask if you want a surprise and you have kids, say yes!

Yummy, decadent and beautifully presented ice cream! Friendly service and gorgeous atmosphere. What else can you ask for?

"1,000 stars" is what my six-year-old daughter said she'd rate Scoop and Joy. It's such a fun ice cream shop! They have lots of flavors of ice cream and lots of unique cones like pretzel cones, chocolate chip cones, and more. When you order, the staff ask if you want the "surprise." Say yes. They will create an animal or face from candy like little cookies, M&Ms, and more. My daughter got such a kick out of it!

I came across this place by mistake but let me tell you. I am so happy I did. It's probably the BEST ICE CREAM place in Phoenix! And trust me I've been to all the "top" rated ice cream places around. This place should not be missed. You have to try it. Service is amazing too and when they ask you if you want a free surprise? Say YES! They come up with very creative way of presenting their ice creams. I got the Cookie Monster, pistachio and strawberry and none of them disappointed. 10/10 across the board.

I am so glad we tried this place! Our ice cream was incredibly creamy and tasted very fresh. The waffle cones were very tasty, too! If they ask would you like a surprise... Always say, "yes!" They turn your ice cream into a fun character. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. I noticed as we left the table outside they immediately came and sanitized it. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back!

The throwing class was awesome and seemingly affordable. Paloma was lovely and a great teacher. But the prices kept adding up and each piece needed an additional firing fee which seemed like it should have been included (or I could have been warned). The thing I was most bummed about was that they don't trim the pieces for you (or let you trim them). It feels a total waste of time, money and clay, to make a pot, bowl etc that's heavy and sharp at the base. Not entirely usable and leaves you bummed out. My daughter was so sad ver her finished product (she made as a gift to me). It just felt the experience wasn't complete.

She answered all of our curious questions and she was nice to let us practice on her tray first before starting to work on ours. We got a free delicious cup of coffee, and we sat outside, which was perfect in our beautiful winter weather. They give you the tools you need and murals if you choose to use that. They said it will take about 6 weeks before the trays are baked and ready for us to pick up. I can't wait!! I would love to come back more :)
